Customer Reviews:
Great organizer for a first time mom!.......2007-09-23
This organizer is good at reminding me all the tasks I need to accomplish prior to my baby's arrival. I also love the registry items list. This is my first time as a mom and I admit, I'm a bit clueless of all the things I need. This book helps me identify the most essential items that I will need.
Great planner!.......2007-09-18
This is a great pregnancy planner/ journal. This is my first baby and I find the different sections about important questions to ask everyone from your doctor, insurance company, pediatrician, childcare all very helpful for a first time mom. The areas to record info from your doctor visits is great, too. I also like the section about what you absolutely need for your new baby and the "extras". Good little planner and I definitely like that the cover is very neutral and mod looking-- not all frilly. I do wish there were pockets on the front and back inside covers, but it's still a great planner!!!
No journal pages.......2007-09-15
I like the book. Lots of info and nice layout, only I wish there were blank journal pages to record certain events. Great check list for hospital and baby preparation.
Love the organizer!.......2007-08-31
Very neatly laid out. Great details that I might forget. Great sections. Cute design.
Great organizer.......2007-08-15
There is a ton of info you can record to organize now and even keep later as a momento. My only complaint: It has one clear page to store things. I wish it had flap pockets on the front and back cover or more than one clear page to store more items if you wish, such as sonogram pictures or other pictures. Otherwise, it is a fantastic organizer/planner!

Customer Reviews:
Operation World Prayer Calendar.......2007-05-13
An excellent reminder to help pray intelligently for the most pressing needs in nearly every country in the world.
Prayer Calendar.......2007-01-13
This calendar is a great way to remind yourself to pray for the nations.
The Operation World Book is bigger and has more information on each country but doesn't sit nicely on your desktop or dining room table etc. The calendar information is pretty up to date - last edited in 2002. It seems very current.
The info on each flip page is organized well and gives you essential facts and suggestions for informed significant prayer. It gives you 2 or 3 days to pray for each country, in case you get too busy or want to pray for other things you won't get behind or feel "under the pile" with this calendar prayer aid.
The calendar is not linked to any specific year. I.e, January 1 is not necesarily "Monday" or something, so you can't use it to figure out what day of the week it is, but instead it is designed to be used any year, year after year, praying for specific countries throughout the year as you flip the pages every couple days. The pages do have dates on them like "January 1-3", "January 4-5", etc.
Quality made and look. I am a current missionary and can vouch for the accuracy of the details.

Customer Reviews:
This thing sucked.......2007-06-18
Outdated as hell and not at all helpful. I'd recommend using theknot.com
buy it before you start planning.......2007-06-11
The book is a must have as an engagement present or you will miss out on helpful timesaving ideas. I would put pockets at the beginning of the sections to keep vendor information and then I wouldn't have to have a planner too. That would truly make it a everything organizer, hence the 4 stars.
Great Planner.......2007-01-04
This is the best organizer I have found. Full of the most recent suggestions for a successful wedding. Keeps you moving on track. It is a nice size for mobility as you schedule, pay and reserve for the wedding.
Outdated and negative.......2006-06-18
I thought this book had completely the wrong attitude to wedding planning - it's written in a way that's meant to make you panic and it really talks down to you. Consider this extract from page 16:
'...it is time to settle down, put your nose to the grindstone and, like a field general, start mapping out a battle plan for your wedding. Make no mistake about it, planning your wedding will be a battle: a battle to get everything as coordinated, beautiful, on time, and generally perfect as your most important day should be.'
I'm sorry but how many brides want to be compared to a 'field general'? A princess maybe, but a field general about to go into battle...? I can't think of anything worse!
Apart from all the words meant to panic you, it also seems outdated with no advice on the different photography styles currently available and nothing on the kind of technology and equipment your videographer should be using. Sorry but most brides need a little more guidance than 'the videographer should have up-to-date, quality equipment' (page 214).
On the upside I do have to admit that some of the checklists were practical and well thought through. However the book as a whole had few ideas on how to make your wedding unique and was therefore quite uninspiring, and put a bit of a downer on the whole idea of wedding organising.
Planning your wedding is a time that should be happy, fun and full of hope for the future, not scary and panicked as this book presents it.
Everything wed organizer is just ok.......2006-02-25
It has good information, but if you are looking for an in-depth more complete book, this may not be the way to go.

Customer Reviews:
Loved it so much I used it twice.......2006-09-25
I used these calendars for two different pregnancies and really enjoyed it. The weekly information is interesting and helpful, the stickers are great and the baby name suggestions are wonderful too. They really crammed alot of useful stuff into this calendar, plus really cute pictures of babies. The only drawback is writing in all of the dates and days of the week, but you'll have that flaw with any pregnancy calendar.
Nice, but needs improvement.......2006-01-30
The calendar does have nice pictures and I like the tips and the names at the bottom. However, even though it is done week by week there is little room to write anything down. They have this huge quote that takes up 1/4 of the page. I think they could of reduced this and made the writing area larger.
Just what I was looking for..........2004-11-29
I seemed to have a harder time this pregnancy (my third) finding a "pregnancy calender". I was really excited to find this one. The pictures are very sweet and there was room to write in my thoughts, etc... It's a good buy if your into keepsakes and scrapping.
Horray, this is exactly what I wanted!.......2004-07-01
I just recieved this Calendar in the mail today and I love it! It has a page for each week with tips for each day of that week. The pictures are adorable too. I love that it has spots for pictures too. It also has suggested baby names A-Z on the bottom of each page. It's definitely worth the money. I just wish I got it sooner!
Hooray - Finally a Gift that Mommy can treasure for years!!!.......2002-12-24
The "Hooray! My Baby Is on the Way Calendar" was a wonderful way for me as a first time mom to become attuned to what was going on with my baby week by week. The calendar also displays adoreable pictures of babies for you to ahhhh over in anticipation of your new arrival. The stickers (first ultrasound, picked babies name, first heartbeat heard, wore maternity clothes, and etc.) are a nice way to reflect on the memories of pregnancy. The calendar also displays helpful hints that guide you on what can be expected. These hints also can be dropped to signifant others as a suttle way of saying "I need a back rub!" The calendar is a great gift to yourself or to those that are expecting around you!!!

Customer Reviews:
I love this calendar!.......2007-01-14
My husband bought this for us when I was pregnant with our first son. It's such a nice little way to track the baby's progress and we really enjoyed looking at it each night before bed. We enjoyed it all over again when I got pregnant with our second son. We liked it so much that we have sent several to friends upon learning that they were pregnant. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful for First Time Parents and Grandparents.......2006-12-14
This book is the best gift you can give a parent or grandparent to be! It was so neat to track what was going on for the baby each day - we learned so much about the amazing miracle of pregnancy. It makes this developing baby seem so much more real. Our parents enjoyed following along as well and discovering how their grandchild was developing. I can't say enough about what a great book this is. The author did a great job researching infant development and was able to come up with interesting and entertaining facts for each day of the whole 9 months.
Absolutely precious!.......2006-09-15
I got this calendar when I was pregnant with my first child, and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I couldn't wait to turn the page to see what was new with the baby. Even our family members began asking what the calendar had to say for that day. There were just so many cleverly written pages. I now give this calendar to all my newly pregnant friends.
response from the author.......2006-06-19
In response to the two people who mentioned that the calendar is off by two weeks... It is important to follow the instructions given at the beginning of the book when filling in your dates. If they are not followed, you will be off by two weeks.
Julie Carr, author
"Countdown to a Miracle: The Making of Me"
I agree - nice concept, but INACCURATE!!!!.......2006-05-28
I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed how inaccurate this calendar book is!!! I bought two, used both for both pregnancies, and BOTH were incorrect!! They were always off by about two weeks! I had intentions on treating my friends to this book, but I'm glad I didn't embarass myself. Unfortunately I found out the hard way and wasted $30 on two for myself. Stay clear!

Daily Planetary Guide ROCKS.......2007-07-18
I use this guide often. I plant according to the Llewellen Guide, and have for years. It's really most accurate. I also use it to make jelly and jams. It can be a guide for most any project, from pruning to de-horning baby goats.
A Must.......2007-06-28
I have used the guide for several years and now cannot be without one. For anyone who monitors planetary movements to anticipate effects in daily life, this guide is a must.
2007 Daily Planetary Guide, Llewellyn.......2007-05-29
I'm glad they put the asteroids back into the ephemeris. I buy this date-book every year, and it's handy to be able to see what the planets are doing while I'm planning what to do. There's a fair amount of space for writing, but I wish there were a little more.
Necessary.......2007-05-13
I love this Datebook, carry it with me everywhere I go! Have for years!!!

Customer Reviews:
Great Calendar.......2007-09-29
This is a great product. Lots of color and sparkles and cute pictures. Not too childish for an adult to have either.
Great way to stay organized.......2007-05-13
The calendar is full of great illustrations and is easy to organize. Being able to hang it on the wall is a bonus. It is very durable, I imagine I will be able to use this for a long time
Birthday Calendar: pros and cons.......2007-03-24
Very cute calendar. The pages are thinner thean I had hoped, causing the calendar to be a bit flimsy and is easily bent out of shape. However, I love the upbeat, fun designs and I have been looking for a birthday calendar for a while. Could not have been more affordable; however, I would have been willing to spend a little more money for a thicker, more subsantial calendar. I don't really have any regrets, as the price is great and the calendar certainly is substantially able to serve it's purpose.
Great reminder calendar!.......2007-01-13
This calendar has been a life saver. Each January I used to transfer all of the birthdays for family and friends to my new calendar... what a waste of time. This birthday reminder calendar is great because you write everyone down 1 time and put it next to your current year calendar, flip over with each consecutive month & you never will forget a birthday again. Love it! The only downfall is that the lines to write people's names on is somewhat small so if you have 2 or more people with the same birthdate, you have to write very small.
Beautiful, artistic, and fun to look at!.......2006-03-01
I bought this birthday calendar for my daughter so that she could have an easy way of remembering her family's and friends' birthdays. She wrote their names and their birth year at the correct date, and we've hung it in her room. A friend of mine who is an elementary school teacher purchased several also to give to her teacher friends.
I think this is a perfect gift for a child, as well as an ideal teacher gift. The pictures are beautiful, and the glimmering designs make them extra attractive!
Customer Reviews:
Liked the old format.......2007-09-08
This is such a fun, cute calendar. I've gotten at least 3 other friends "hooked" on this calendar. But we're all sad about the format change. Please go back to the lined blocks!
Mary's Calendar.......2007-03-09
It was a gift for someone to give to someone else. I understand that she said it was perfect and the recipient loved it!!!! Thank you.
LOVE THE POSITIVITY AND SPIRIT!.......2007-01-11
I just received this calendar and was entirely and utterly delighted by it! If you are a positive person, you know how difficult it is sometimes to maintain your positivity in the face of negative people, cynics, etc., and as I also LOVE to laugh, I just thought this calendar spread warmth, positivity, compassion, and the JOYS of laughter to a world that sorely needs it right now. I admire the gentleness, wisdom, light-heartedness, and compassion the calendar espouses. I plan on buying several more to give to my friends and family, particularly those that need a little boost every day. I think its a great way to start the day!
nice calendar.......2007-01-07
I buy one of these every year. I'm a little disappointed this year as the format has been changed (different size, and less space to write notes), but it's still a fun book to use.
Still so pretty! Please re-format.......2006-12-30
As always, these calenders are beautifully illustrated and chock full of inspirational quotes and the little extras (special events list and phone list) that make it functional.
Like other reviewers I've used this calendar in past years and I really liked the square calender blanks to help record appointments. The newer format may have a more streamlined look but it just isn't as functional. I actually like the new size, but there is certainly enough space on the pages to still use the squared blanks instead of long rectangular ones that look disorganized once one starts writing on them.
I used to use the "Bad Girl" calendars because it had the same format although I didn't care for some of the other features. Engelbreit is much prettier and if the former format is integrated into the new design next year I'll purchase it again.
