Customer Reviews:
THE best book on trading I have ever read........2007-09-09
I had to get this book after reading such a mix of reviews. I was really curious how it would turn out since reviewers were either raving about it or trashing it.
After reading the 1st half of this book I was shocked to say the least. The first half of this book is worth more than all of the books I have read on trading combined. If someone trashes this book then they are either very new to trading and don't understand the points being made in this book(which I can understand because you have to get some experience under your belt to really appreciate what is being said in this book) or they are looking for a quick strategy they can read in 5 minutes and start making money. For one thing, that's never going to happen anyway.
The trading strategies in this book are very basic, so for newbies that part of the book has some good info. I was hoping for a little more advanced analysis of trading techniques, but I really didn't need that anyway. The knowledge and wisdom in the first half of this book is going to take my trading to moon.
For the newbies who didn't like this book, get a couple years experience under your belts then go back to this book and re-read the 1st half. I guarantee you, you will want to come back here and write a positive review.
Interesting book with lack in details by very self-confident authors.......2007-06-09
When I started reading the book by Oliver Velez and Greg Capra: "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader", I thought it was one of the better books on day trading. It starts out with the importance of discipline, and the lessons to be learnt from losses. It also outlines the concept that you don't buy from the market, but there is always another person on the other side of the trade that has exactly the opposite market expectation as you.
Then come four chapters with lists of rules: 7 deadly sins, 12 trading laws of success, 15 things every trader should know, and 10 lessons for the master trader. Altogether 44 rules, which don't seem to be in any systematic order. It looks like the authors were brainstorming to come up with as many rules as they could think of, and then divided them up among the four chapters. Some rules contradict one another, some important rules are next to irrelevant ones etc. Also the "Seed of Wisdom" does not help to sum up the rules because it often is not related to the part that it is supposed to summarize.
In Chapter 10 and 11 the authors talk about tools and start out by explaining things as basic as a candle stick or support and resistance. Then they dedicate two chapters to Order Systems and Level II data, and it takes until page 293 when they finally talk about trading techniques.
After having talked redundantly about general things for three quarters of the book, the authors give their ideas of entry, stop and exit techniques. What I missed most in this part is the lack of exact trading rules. Everything is expressed vaguely (e.g. p.219 "you can also opt to keep the break-even stop. This is a matter of choice." or p.322 "Sell at least half your stock if and when the stock breaks below the 5-minute low. ... These are just guidelines. We don't want to be stupid. ... Many traders will be best served selling the whole lot at this point."). This is exactly the vagueness you can't afford as a day trader. I was also disappointed that there was so little variety in the trade setups (just three entry techniques).
So my hope was high that in chapter 17 "How to put it all together" there would finally be concrete entry and exit descriptions. Instead, the authors just describe common chart formations like any other book on technical analysis (and do a worse job, too).
Throughout the book I noted an arrogant tone (p. 317: "Let's assume a master trader, let's call him Mr. Velez."). The authors speak about master traders, as if they were some kind of rock stars. No matter, how successful you are, if you quit being humble, the market can easily take everything away from you.
I am giving the book three stars because it does cover important topics for day traders like discipline, and learning from your mistakes. If you want to read a more effective book, however, I recommend the one by John F. Carter "Mastering the Trade".
Seeds of Wisdom!.......2007-05-18
Tools and Tactics for the Master DayTrader: Battle-Tested Techniques for Day, Swing, and Position Traders.
Velez and Capra give me the impression they have traded before and are not just book writer's. You can learn a few pointer's from this book whether you are a rookie or have been trading a while. It covers Candlesticks,Moving Averages, Fibs, Volume and drawing a few trendlines on the charts intraday and daily charts.
It does not go into some of the mathematical stock indicators that some trader's think it might be the "Holy Grail". Sorry, there is no Holy Grail in the stock market you better look elsewhere like yourself. The only "Holy Grail" you will ever find trading stocks is yourself there is no quick fixes to learn to trade stocks it all takes lots of time and practice.
Its to look and observe what a chart's footprints tell you with some seeds of wisdom.
I see so many negative reviews here about this books. I am starting to wonder whether those reader's have ever traded stocks.
I have traded full-time for years and I can tell you they must be all novice trader's hoping that a book might have all the answer's for them and their future. It would help them if they read this book a few times until it sinks in their minds.
Nothing new.......2007-04-18
nothing new, nothing exciting. Everything can be found in books that are half the price. Save your money.
FIVE STARS!!!.......2007-02-27
I would definitely give this book five stars. I really learned alot from it. If you gave it a bad review you either need to go back and read the book again or just skimmed through the book.
and to the person who sid that he "Heard" that they don't actually trade they are wrong and I thought everyone knew not always to believe what they hear. But hey, some people just believe things more easily than others.
and you can't even RATE this book one star because YOU HAVEN'T ACTUALLY READ IT!!!
You skimmed through the book and rate it one star??? WOW. that's all I have to say: wow. I'm not even going to say anything else. and people don't listen to all of those bad revievs out there. It really was a great book and is worth the money. (and so is his newer book)
and to the person who said: "This book TOTALLY rocked. I read it alot because it was so awesome"
YOU TOTTALY ROCK TOO! LOL!

The Ultimate Step-by-Step Selling Guide.......2007-06-25
I speak around the world on lead generation and marketing strategy. Neil did an outstanding job crafting "The SPIN Selling Fieldbook" to give you a roadmap on how to master complex sales strategy.
There is no other resource I can think of where you can "easily perfect" your approach and positioning sales strategy.
Neil gives you step-by-step plan that anyone can follow in their quest to excel at marketing their products or services.
The SPIN Selling Fieldbook gives you valuable "hands on" tools. I recommend the "SPIN Selling Fieldbook."
It is an invaluable resource that any salesperson or sales executive should have in their personal library.
Joe Heller, Trust Cycle Selling
Better than the standard Spin Selling Book.......2007-06-09
This field book is better than the original book was. If you are going to buy just one of the two you should probably just buy the field book. It allows you to apply the ideas very quickly.
Practice makes perfect........2006-11-14
Usually is not enough to read a book to have the knowledge, you need to practice, and that is what this book helps to, giving you ideas on how to put SPIN method into practice.
Nice book, but too easy after reading SPIN Selling.......2006-08-09
I bought this book together with SPIN Selling. I read the Fieldbook after reading SPIN Selling. If you've already read SPIN Selling, this book is not going to tell you much new things.
If you would read the Fieldbook instead of SPIN Selling, then I think the Fieldbook is not thorough enough, at least if you compare it to SPIN Selling.
In general I think the audience of this book is perhaps college students, or clever highschool students, but not really experienced salespeople. Maybe that's also because of the cartoons every now and then which make the book look like it's meant for younger people.
What I expected when I bought both books was that the Fieldbook offerd some transcriptions of salescalls, and an explanation of why certain aspects are wrong and how this could be improved using SPIN Selling. This was not really the case, it was more like a simple summary of SPIN Selling. So not really the Fieldbook I expected.
Anyway, the book is not bad, but I would not recommend to buy both SPIN Selling and the Fieldbook together. Also, if you're a serious and experienced salesperson I would recommend SPIN Selling. If you're new to sales or if you're still in college, I would recommend the Fieldbook.
Indispensable part of the salesman's library.......2006-07-19
This book is a practical guide for implementing the principles learned in the original book about 'Spin selling', however it is not necessary to have read the other book to make good use of this one. I think the SPIN methodology is a most valuable contribution from Mr. Rackham to the field of large sales and this book gives sound help to implement it.

The 25 Best Time Management Tools & Techniques.......2007-09-05
I have been taking time management courses for over 15 years, but i learned more in this time management tool than i ever learned in those courses. Each chapter is filled with tidbits of information that you can quickly put to use to become more effective in your career development. The chapters on vision and goals are excellent. I have benefited greatly from the tips, albeit small when you look at them in the book, will make a big difference once applied to your life. Love the book. Am passing it on to a coworker tomorrow.
Not the best.......2007-07-10
I didn't find this book as helpful as I had wished. The chapters only touch the tip of the iceberg and don't necessarily go into detail on how to implement the techniques.
The book could have been much more cohesive and comprehensive.
Great resource for the mildly disorganized.......2007-03-08
Pros: The book is laid out into 25 chapters, and each one is no more than 4-5 pages in length, making it easy to glance over the Table of Contents, and read quickly through whatever interests you most. Each lesson is 'en pointe', and doesn't waste time with casual talk and yet is engaging and written with utmost clarity. The book is fairly thin, and can fit in a large purse or briefcase. It can be read straight through (as I'm doing) or you can bounce around.
Cons: After ordering the book online, I got an email telling me that the book would be delayed by delivery for 4-6 weeks, instead of the 1-3 weeks I expected initially. Fortunally, it arrived in 3 weeks, since it came back into stock.
My Personal Thoughts: I like this book, because time management isn't exactly "pleasurable reading" for me. So, this is very quick & dirty. Instead of reading the whole book, I am tackling each chapter at a time, and within a month of owning the book, I'm halfway through re-organizing the clutter in my apartment, and have created a "tickler" file at work, which has already made my life less stressful, and easier to get to work, and quickly get started on projects. I could see myself referring back to this book in the future for tips. ..Conclusion: Definitely a keeper, but you must come with your own motivation, otherwise it'll just collect dust on your shelf.
A time saver.......2007-02-19
The "Cliff's notes" of Time Management.
I found the information was clear, concise and well presented. It's a good book to have on your desk as a reference when you feel yourself drifting into disorganization to motivate you to get back on track.
The only thing is I felt like it was snippets with no real cohesion. You could read it thinking...well I could do this, and that, or this and that... but there was no clear philosophy to bring it all together.
It's an excellent sampler of approaches, though...and as someone who has read many of the same books listed, I'd attest that the author's understanding and abbreviated versions of each of the time management techniques are spot-on.
20 Time Management Books in One.......2007-02-06
I liked this book so much that I just purchased 5 additional copies for family and friends. The authors present in one manageable volume lessons from the top 20 time management books on the amazon.com website. The book is divided into 6 sections and 25 short chapters covering diverse subjects such as identifying one's own values, writing a mission statement, organizing living and work spaces, overcoming procrastination and managing stress. In addition, there are helpful reviews of the 20 time management books the authors chose along with reviews of other helpful books such as Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, one of my personal favorites. This book is highly readable, practical and comprehensive. It is essentially a digest or executive summary of the best books on the subject. It is well organized and can be used as an easy continuing reference. I hope you get as much out of it as I did.

Customer Reviews:
Not fit for critical thinking.......2007-09-11
Although the authors have plenty of authority in this field, the book comes across to me as marketing or propaganda. They have focused on what they view as the essence of critical thinking which they call "fairmindedness." However, their intent seems less about teaching people how to apply logic to life's situations and more about an agenda of promoting liberal, Humanist philosophy. They eschew emotion as counterproductive to "fairmindedness," yet the text is replete with emotionally charged words, symbols, and examples. I was very disappointed, and I struggled to find the nuggets of truth in the sea of philosophical pondering.
Food for "THOUGHT".......2007-08-06
--You will see (in private) the assets and liabilities of your own personal thinking - as well as the the assets and liabilities in how your family, friends and associates think.
--Highly readable - very informative - absorbing and engrossing presentations - the art of critical thinking made user-friendly, enjoyable, and magnetic. A book worth using to learn or to teach "how" to think - as well as to employ for reflecting upon "how" we think.
Decent Book.......2007-07-06
I think that the book was really good and gave me a couple of new ways to think. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking to examine how they think.
Great for teachers of critical thinking classes.......2007-05-20
I use this book as a college professor for courses in ethics in addition to courses based primarily on critical thinking skills. Easy to follow, good chapter separation, and each chapter building upon the previous one, make this an excellent choice for these types of courses.
If you want to get smart, especially in today's chaotic world..., get hold of this book quickly!.......2006-10-28
Critical Thinking: Tools for Taking Charge of Your Professional and Personal Life
by Richard Paul & Linda Elder
One of the hallmarks of strategic thinking, whether it is for business or for personal application, is the ability to think critically. This is also the expressed contention of Michel Robert in his series of well-known strategic thinking books for CEOs & senior managers.
In this particular book, which also happens to be one of my personal favourites, the two authors argue that everything you do in life is determined by the quality of your thinking. I fully concur with the authors. The two authors are principal leaders of the Center for Critical Thinking, a well-respected research & professional development organisation among the critical thinking community.
What I like about this book is that the authors help the reader to become a better thinker in every aspect of your life: in your career, & as a consumer, a citizen, a friend, a parent, & even a lover. They also help the reader to analyze your own thought processes so you can identify your own weaknesses & overcome them. To be more precise, they actually show the reader how to "take thinking apart" & assess it for quality.
In a nutshell, readers will learn how to improve all the three core components of thinking:
- analysis;
- evaluation;
- re-thinking;
The authors have also provided practical metacognitive exercises for honing your thinking skills every day.
These are the powerful & beautiful features of this wonderful book!
In the end analysis, thinking strategically is actually using effective critical thinking to achieve your goals & enhance your life. This also applies in the business realm.
I want to compliment both authors for crafting this excellent guide & field book on critical thinking. Their writings are clear, succinct & concise. Personally, I have enjoyed working on their exercises in the book.
If you want to get smart, especially in today's chaotic world where you're at the mercy of everyone else - from dishonest politicians to aggressive, stop-at-nothing ad agencies - get hold of this book quickly.
Readers who are interested to explore further the two authors' masterwork are welcome to check out their corporate website. They have a lot of other good stuff e.g. Thinker's Guides.
Book Description
"Questioning" is a skill rarely taught in school, but doing it well - that is, asking the right questions of the right people - can radically transform attitudes, actions, and results. Change Your Questions, Change Your Life provides easy-to-learn tools that can make a significant and immediate difference in people's business and personal lives. Written as an engaging fable, it inspires readers to take charge of their thinking in order to accomplish goals, improve relationships, advance careers, investigate new territories, and in general gain greater life satisfaction. This book explains how to "be your own coach," outlines the author's QuestionThinking Model, and lists the top 12 questions for change. Real-world examples provide practical models for applying the principles in a variety of situations, while a Choice Map is a useful visual tool that demonstrates that everyone has a choice in every situation, even if it is not immediately apparent.

questions are more important than answers.......2007-07-16
If given a difficult problem and 20 hours to solve it, I would spend 19 hours framing the question. This is a paraphrase from Albert Einstein. The way a person approaches life truly defines the outputs that they get out of it. Can 3-5 hours with a book change your life?
A new way to ask what's going on.......2007-03-30
Marilee G. Adams found that she could generate positive changes in her behavior and productivity by changing the defensive questions that she previously asked in the face of adversity. Analyzing those protective questions showed her that she took setbacks and criticism too personally. Asking different questions enabled her to reframe each moment and create growth opportunities. Adams illustrates the problem-solving power of honest curiosity. Her "QuestionThinking" method generates practical ways to change your mind, literally. These are great ideas; however, their repetition within a fictional storyline may annoy some readers, while others may like this allegorical approach to telling the tale. The self-questioning techniques are easy to employ, and will help you examine situations from different points of view, which can come in quite handy. We recommend adding this set of tools to your interpersonal communication toolkit.
Interesting but I felt it was not what I expected but I did learn a thing or two........2007-01-25
I was looking forward to reading the book. I have always thought that questions, or as the book states, great questions lead to great results were important. At first, I thought the way the book was written as a story was unique. Something like , The Richest Man in Babylon, one of my favorite books regarding financial independence. And yet, I was waiting for the great finale that never came. It was said , the main character, Ben and the company became succesful and it was because of the questions and they gave some examples, I expected more, more details, more information.
That said, it gave some practice exercises that made sense especially the one about the phone ringing, do you answer it , do you wait. When something happens , use the same technique, observe before you do something. And switching from judge to learner was valuable. Ask the right question and switch role which can make a big difference.
There was some great insights regarding questions. And the role you take , as one of Judge or learner was good. I was asking myself during this time, I am judging , how can I change that. How is the person I am interacting with feeling, what are their wants.
I do recommend it , if anything you will be aware of the questions you ask yourself during important decisions and thru out the day.
A MUST Read!.......2007-01-10
This book was easy to read, yet hard to put down. The author does an excellent job bringing you through Ben's journey - you can see the shift in his thinking and how his way of being impacts those around him. The examples of how simply shifting your perspective (or in this case, Question Thinking) can shift your attitude and your experiences are useful personally and professionally. The Judger/Learner concept is a simple yet powerful distinction that I have referred to for coaching clients stuck in moving forward due to living on the Judger path.
Open versus closed.......2006-11-23
The storyline- Ben's crisis - is a very useful means of conveying the message - how we show up at work is how we show up at home. This reinforces the mindset that we are the same person wherever we are - albeit circumstances may dictate variations on the theme.
The Learner vs. Judger model is remniscent with the 90's theme of open thinking vs. closed thinking....however, I see the value of choosing the words Judger and Learner. The charts and graphs were very helpful in making this a useable process to shift thinking in ourselves, at work and at home.
I particularly focused on the questions provided regarding Great results begin with great questions. Will use this premise with my clients.
Thank you, Ms. Adams, for sharing your insight and inspiration.

Pastors are among the most educated people at work today, but their training is naturally more attuned to matters of the spirit than matters of business. The Minister's MBA gives ministry leaders more confidence and ability to manage and grow their churches and organizations. The book will also make them more conversant with the businessmen and women who serve on their various boards and committees.
Easy-to-follow sections include "The Admissions Exam: Test Your MBA-Q," "Core Curriculum, "Electives," and "Graduation Day."

Every good idea eventually boils down to hard work.......2007-01-24
Erwin McManus said, "There comes a time when you have to stop being full of potential and be potent."
In my experience (I'm pretty young - 38) but I've noticed that stuff just doesn't happen. Annointing, you must have. Submission to his leading - what else? Prayer - much prayer - without a doubt. But pencil to paper. A lot of talking with your voluntter staff. Dreaming. Critical thinking. Arguing. Sacrificing and driving for a mission. Living for people beyond your generation ...
The Minister's MBA has been an awesome catalyst for spiritual growth of a different kind for me.
IF you are more vision than manager; IF you are great in ideas, but short on practicality; IF you need a "legend" for the map ... get this book.
Strategic Excellence in a Book.......2006-11-28
Drs. Babbes and Zigarelli's text is a wonderful read and an excellent source of information for strategists. It was written for ministers but the content is useful for any organization be it profit, non-profit, military, or education. The language is understandable and easy to follow. Yet, the information is substantial for any person seeking to make their organization a strategically better one. Each "semester" build on the other so the reader can master the strategic points all the way to "graduation." This is truly a worthwhile read.
It's Not an M.B.A. for Dummies, It's a Toolbox for Ministry Success.......2006-11-02
Most of my colleagues are long past the so-called divide between sacred and secular (which is not biblical), especially as it relates to ensuring effectiveness in ministry. Should churches use "Madison Avenue" techniques to "market" to their communities? The book quotes A.W. Tozer, "It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it. The motive is everything."
The Minister's MBA is long overdue. The book features 12 "courses" (chapters) including: your mission, creating a high performance DNA, retaining great people, leading with shrewd stewardship, and how to use the balanced scorecard for measuring strategy.
The "Strategy Map" chapter is excellent and every pastor, staff member and key church volunteer must read it. You'll learn how to get beyond lagging indicators (past performance) and onto leading indicators like member satisfaction (where you're headed).
After reading this, I have a suggestion for pastors. Every Sunday afternoon, email 100 church members (a different group each week) and ask them to complete an anonymous three-minute online feedback survey about the service, the sermon and their faith journey. SurveyMonkey.com is an easy and excellent online survey tool to use for this.

Interesting Points .......2007-04-17
This book is interesting but I also just finished reading "Kiss Theory Good Bye" by Bob Prosen on leadership and management just published and it is also a very actionable and timely book.
The thing I did like about 'nuts-n-bolts' is the Top Ten lists in each chapter, in particular "the top ten communication tools" were very good.

Having access only to the Table of Contents and one page of text, I believe that this book addresses the vital area of business tools and that the tool types covered are most important. What I can't state, from only the one page of content, is how well this is done.
Book Description
The coauthor of the international bestseller
Execution has created the how-to guide for solving today’s toughest business challenge: creating profitable growth that is organic, differentiated, and sustainable.
For many, growth is about “home runs”—the big bold idea, the next new thing, the product that will revolutionize the marketplace. While obviously attractive and lucrative, home runs don’t happen every day and frequently come in cycles.
Products like Kevlar, Teflon, and the Dell business model for selling personal computers may be once-in-a-decade phenomena. A surer and more consistent path to profitable revenue growth is through “singles and doubles”—small day-to-day wins and adaptation to changes in the marketplace that build the foundation for substantially increasing revenues. The impact of singles and doubles can be huge. They are not only the basis for sustained revenue growth but, in fact, the foundation for home runs. Singles and doubles provide the discipline of execution, an absolute necessity for successfully bringing a breakthrough technology to market or implementing a new business model.
Inherent in this way of thinking is the revolutionary idea that growth is everyone’s business—not solely the concern of the sales force or top management. Just as everyone participates in cost reduction, so must everyone be engaged in the growth agenda of the business. Every contact of each employee with a customer is an opportunity for revenue growth. That includes everyone from the people working in a company’s call center handling customer inquiries and complaints to the CEO.
In this trailblazing book, Ram Charan provides the building blocks and tools that can put a business on the path to sustained, profitable growth. For more than twenty-five years, Ram Charan has been working day in and day out with companies around the world. The ideas he has developed for solving the profitable revenue growth dilemma facing many businesses are based on personally seeing what works in real time. These are ideas that have been tested across industries and that deliver results, and they can be put to use starting Monday morning.

Easy read with great advice.......2007-08-31
Bought the book for a planning event for the company and most enjoy reading it. Really easy to read but packed with great insights and valuable lessons.
Thought Provoking.......2007-01-24
I found the book every interesting. Nothing ground breaking but Ram Charan says it like it is. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read who wants to learn about business growth.
Charan does it again: ten ways to make more money.......2006-07-04
This excellent, short work is a classic in its genre. Author Ram Charan outlines in no-nonsense, albeit sometimes prolix, style the essentials that all managers need to know to make their businesses and their revenues grow. Charan offers 10 basic principles, explains each one clearly, and provides anecdotal examples. The author readily admits that the principles are mostly common sense, and even perhaps widely understood (in part, from his other popular works). However, he says that the problem for most businesses is not having the right ideas, but rather turning the ideas into action. We recommend this mainstay for any business manager's bookshelf. It will help you face the challenge of growth.
A real disappointment based on his past successes.......2005-08-02
I have really enjoyed Ram Charan's writing in the past. I have really enjoyed Ram Charan's writing in the past. He is generally simple, clear, but most important actionable. This book, however, was a real disappointment to me as it fails to deliver on it's promise: 10 tools to use on Monday morning. I guess Ram got stuck on simple and clear but the sad fact is that profitable growth is neither and this is where actionable is left in the cold.
One point was outstanding: look for singles and doubles (not out-of-the-park home runs) and build on those over time. But he could have said that in a journal article or a business magazine commentary and saved us all a lot of wasted time reading.
A few good ideas, but pretty wordy.......2005-06-05
I purchased this together with Ram's other highly-praised book, "What the CEO Wants You to Know." I'd give the CEO book a D review and this a C review because this at least gave me a few new ideas. Charan's style of using stories to reiterate his points started to quickly annoy me, but I did get a few tips. As an operations person, I thought it had a pretty big marketing focus, but still reinforced a few good ideas such as the need to ensure you're not always just looking for ways to cut costs, but grow revenue with the same amount of costs.
Book Description
This deck (with accompanying guidebook) is designed to help activate and strengthen your sixth sense, your psychic voice. In it, you will find 52 cards, each one a tool for deepening your connection to God, your Higher Self, angels, spirit guides, and helpers from the other side.
There are several ways to use the deck. The first is to approach the deck like a psychic training system, randomly pulling one card from the deck per day, and then applying the tool suggested on the card throughout the day and in the situations you face where guidance, intuition, and Divine insight are required. Another way is to seek direct guidance on any given situation or circumstance by pulling a card with that particular situation in mind and then following its counsel. A more elaborate instruction can be had by pulling three cards on the situation. The first card represents the attitude or frame of mind in which to approach the situation or problem. The second card will point out the best way to shift the energy to a higher vibration. The third card suggests what you are overlooking and need to become aware of.
Although these are several suggested ways to use the deck, I believe the best way is to see it as a set of 52 creative tools to connect you with higher awareness in all situations and to trust your own vibes in how to use them. They are not fixed rules, but creative invitations in how to best activate and engage your spirit and your sixth sense in creating the best possible outcome in all situations and circumstances in your life. They are designed to help you approach your life like a sixth-sensory person, as an artist following spiritual law.

Your vibes are never wrong!!.......2007-03-23
This deck corresponds to the books of the same name. They are very helpful and useful in every day guidance. If anything it is great to have them when you need assurance that you are picking up something accurate. The illustration is not as pretty as Choquette's other two decks but the cards are very valuable.
A note about Sonia: She does intensive training with these three decks at a spa in Illinois for $4000 for a weekend. So if you have all three and want further study it will cost you. And psychic training with Sonia is at $3200 plus travel and lodging so be warned ... this is one very expensive soul teacher. If you do get a personal consultation with her, and you hear you are psychic, to do The Hoffman Process, Artist's Way, Mindful Loving, and that you are a sensitive psychic in need of training, should be doing readings for people, need to excercise to align your body with your higher intentions, shouldn't look for a knight on a white horse in love, how your last relationship was karmic past life, don't worry ... she tells everyone that.

Trust your vibes - Sonia Choquette.......2007-02-21
I ordered 3 decks by Sonia Choquette. They're ALL 3 really lovely, beautifully executed - and together with her books, I find them so encouraging that I have decided to go for a bit of self-study.
Down to earth, practical, easy to read, yet very insightful !! I hope Sonia writes more for me to harvest in the coming years!! many thanks Sonia and many thanks amazon for having all her stuff there to find, and to read. It's great when you can peep inside the books, it makes for MUCH better sales I would think, so I'm definitely FOR a lot more authors and publishers being willing to share a few pages, helps make a choice easier.
Instant Connection.......2007-02-02
I received these cards in the mail yesterday; they are lovely cards to not only look at but work with. Usually I might have to shuffle the cards for a day or two in order to work my energy into them but my connection to these cards was immediate. After about 15 mins of shuffeling cards fell out of the deck as is customary for me when I work with any deck of cards. The cards were consistant as in the same 2 or 3 cards fell out the couple of times I worked with the deck last night. I would say that the messages were accurate to my abilities and what I need to focus on. My thought on these cards is that this deck would make an easy connection with anyone intending to use them. They may very well become one of your favorite decks to work with.
A Daily Tool To Set Your Expectations.......2006-03-14
When used as described in the user's manual, the cards offer daily guidance on what to look for today. If used consistenly, you will see patterns forming that will indicate areas that need extra special attention. Always informative and some times humorours these cards will help you fine tune your sixth sense.
