"Long before it legally served me, the bar saved me," asserts J.R. Moehringer, and his compelling memoir The Tender Bar is the story of how and why. A Pulitzer-Prize winning writer for the Los Angeles Times, Moehringer grew up fatherless in pub-heavy Manhasset, New York, in a ramshackle house crammed with cousins and ruled by an eccentric, unkind grandfather. Desperate for a paternal figure, he turns first to his father, a DJ whom he can only access via the radio (Moehringer calls him The Voice and pictures him as "talking smoke"). When The Voice suddenly disappears from the airwaves, Moehringer turns to his hairless Uncle Charlie, and subsequently, Uncle Charlie's place of employment--a bar called Dickens that soon takes center stage. While Moehringer may occasionally resort to an overwrought metaphor (the footsteps of his family sound like "storm troopers on stilts"), his writing moves at a quick clip and his tale of a dysfunctional but tightly knit community is warmly told. "While I fear that we're drawn to what abandons us, and to what seems most likely to abandon us, in the end I believe we're defined by what embraces us," Moehringer says, and his story makes us believe it. --Brangien Davis
Book Description
The bestselling memoir that captured the hearts of readers and critics nationwide is now available in paperback
In the tradition of This Boy's Life and The Liar's Club, J.R. Moehringer's The Tender Bar is a raucous, poignant, luminously written memoir about a boy striving to become a man, and his romance with a bar. A national bestseller that was named one of the 100 Most Notable Books of 2005 by the New York Times, The Tender Bar will reach an even larger audience in paperback.

"the Tender Bar".......2007-10-02
This book is just so "touching", which is a weak word to use for such a great book! Being a mother, my heart just aches for this dear young boy, then man, as he goes through life. Am sure his Mom is so proud of him! Definitely recommend...RM
3 1/2 stars really.......2007-09-08
Interesting life
Great writing style although the attempts at humor & the similes/metaphors were ever so slightly overdone in my opinion
Filthy language through major sections:(
Unusual Story.......2007-08-30
I'm not sure if I enjoyed the story or writing more. The story is disjointed like the life of the narrator, but the pages flow nicely and I'm very happy I read it.
A Wonderful Memoir of an Evolving Life.......2007-08-26
Moehringer uses the story of a bar as the setting for his own story, growing up on the fringes of respectable working class life and achieving a certain degree of success. The bar is where the fatherless Moehringer learns to be a man, surrounded by a collection of significantly flawed characters drawn from Manhasset's odd mix of upper and lower economic class. Unlike many tales of surmounting economic and social hurdles, Moehringer manages to keep himself and his achievements in the background. He focuses on the struggles and screw-ups and nicely captures the conflicts of class, peer group, and community that accompany many people's upward climb. In places like the blue collar side of Manhasset, upward mobility is something that is both encouraged and a source of threat. Moehringer had sense enough to recognize this and to recognize when his triumphs were a wedge and how the bar and its regulars could be an impediment to growing up and moving on. It's apparent that Moehringer's life is still one with missing pieces and struggles to come.
This appears to be one of the few Niman scholar books that doesn't run out of gas before the end.
INSIPID.......2007-08-26
This is such a disappointing memoir! Most of the book is an account of this young Ivy Leaguer's pathetic on-again, off-again, puppy love tryst with his college age heart throb and his "struggles" to get passing grades. Such insipid writing is not worthy of note. Are we supposed to cry over this? I had enough but I kept waiting for more. I kept reading to the end hoping that some depth might develop. Unfortunately the book retained its shallow treatment page after page. Bring on the violins.

Exceedingly helpful for young lawyers.......2007-06-12
My partner and I are using this book (as well as advice from seasoned lawyers) to start our firm and find it to be exceedingly helpful. We both have our own copy. Worth its weight in...uh...legal briefs.
Best book I bought to start up a new practice........2007-05-29
Hands down, this book should be THE ONE you buy if you are starting your own practice. Having worked for small and medium-sized firms for years, I thought I had a good handle on all I needed to know. But this book had the most useful, practical information to really prepare me for the intracacies of hanging out my shingle. Good luck to all you who find yourselves in this same position. How liberating it is finally to be in charge of our own destiny!
Useful book on basics for a law practice.......2007-01-18
I found the information in the book to be helpful but a bit more general than I had hoped. Still, it is an excellent reference source and enjoyable to read. I would recommend this book to someone starting out in a law practice, particularly a less experienced attorney, along with other books on the subject that delve into more detail concerning the nuts and bolts of solo practice.
Law student, business exec likes the book.......2007-01-17
I have read about 90% of this book and have found it very helpful. There are lots of helpful form letters throughout and it seems to cover the majority of issues a new attorney in solo practice would have to consider with some exceptions. Also, when I emailed Mr. Foonberg, he responded immediately, so 5 stars plus for being a dedicated author! If I were to give the book or author any criticism at all, it would be that Mr. Foonberg may not be the most technology-oriented lawyer out there and might benefit the book by adding more info regarding incorporating scanners, Blackberries, adobe, efax or myfax solutions, offsite backup of computer datea, etc into a law practice. In my humble opinion, nowadays, a lawyer who doesn't use at least some of these things in his/her practice looks "cheap," or worse, behind-the-times (not as efficient). Mr. Foonberg asserts that having a paperless office isn't practical or possible, but there are many successful and savvy attorneys out there that would disagree. At the very least, I agree with a majority of techno savvy attorneys out there (search Yahoo or Google for articles and blogs) that having instant access to all client files and documents from a computer anywhere in the world is a HUGE benefit that cannot be overrated.
An excellent primer.......2007-01-08
I have read this book after having worked for 15 years for the government just to find out more about the challenges that private attorneys enconter when starting a law office. This book is a must read! Mr. Foonberg has covered every aspect of starting (and building) a law practice. Having read this book, every attorney will be well prepared to start his or her own law practice successfully.

A revelation!.......2007-06-07
I was one of those law students who never got law school. The law did not make sense to me. I didn't know which rules were important and couldn't really do IRAC. I thought I was doing IRAC but then I read Adachi and realized I had been stumbling around in the dark.
I graduated ranked 90 out of 109 from a mediocre law school and was told by three professors that I would never pass the bar. And I did! I passed the California bar exam on the first try and I attribute it to Adachi. Write all the essays in the books, buy every product he has and just keep going. 2 essays, 25 mpc, and go throught 3 sets of flashcards every day for two months and you will pass the bar.
If I had read these books during law school, I know my ranking would have been different. It's not about reinventing the wheel, it's about being a sheep and copying great people who have passed before you- get the books and don't look back!
Actually, It's Pretty Inaccurate.......2007-06-01
I would give Bar Breaker's an A for organization and inspirational ideas and an D for accuracy with respect to statements of law, both implied and express. Literally, almost every single "model" answer has either a total mis-statement of law or fails to discuss a major issue that is implicated by the fact pattern. I believe that some of these answers would not even receive a passing grade. There are even mis-statements of criminal law, which is kind of scary considering that Adachi oversees the criminal defense of every indigent person in San Francisco. I'm surprised that more people aren't pointing this out. I suspect that these reviewers might have some connection to the author. Just be sure not to rely on Adachi's legal analysis as accurate. For the exam tips, it's great. Also, it's very helpful to have the essays organized by category as he has done.
Great step by step advice.......2006-02-02
The California Bar Exam is a terrifying exercise in thinking like a lawyer and writing clearly. These workbooks give you a way to start breaking down the California Bar Exam essays into manageable parts so you can prepare to pass the essay portion of the exam.
A Must.......2005-05-24
These books are a must for passing the bar.
He breaks the material down step by step and shows you how to put together winning essays.
Even if you are signed up for a bar review course, get these books along with his "bar exam survival guide" and you will be much better off.
good luck.
Excellent - but is there now a 3rd edition? I am not sure..........2005-04-22
Excellent. I have the second edition. But it was 1998. I wonder if that makes a difference? It really is more to learn how to write the essays than the black letter I guess. But I have heard rumors of a third edition. If somebody knows please post. This one is suppose to be 2nd?

Book Description
Expert coverage of the design and implementation of state estimation algorithms for tracking and navigation
Estimation with Applications to Tracking and Navigation treats the estimation of various quantities from inherently inaccurate remote observations. It explains state estimator design using a balanced combination of linear systems, probability, and statistics.
The authors provide a review of the necessary background mathematical techniques and offer an overview of the basic concepts in estimation. They then provide detailed treatments of all the major issues in estimation with a focus on applying these techniques to real systems. Other features include:
- Problems that apply theoretical material to real-world applications
- In-depth coverage of the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) estimator
- Companion DynaEst(TM) software for MATLAB(TM) implementation of Kalman filters and IMM estimators
- Design guidelines for tracking filters
Suitable for graduate engineering students and engineers working in remote sensors and tracking, Estimation with Applications to Tracking and Navigation provides expert coverage of this important area.
Customer Reviews:
Excellent book on estimation/Kalman filter.......2004-09-29
I don't usually write online reviews but this book is so clear and useful that I really want to recommend it to others. It is well written with a good outline and summary for every chapter. It also has a pretty diverse range of topics on estimation, including an introductory chapter on basic estimation approaches (e.g., ML, MAP, least squares), and very practical extensions (e.g., state augmentation, square-root filters). Even though I am not in EE and some of the examples are thus not particularly helpful to me, I still find this book one of the best of all the estimation/Kalman filter books out there.
best standard book for target tracking system.......2001-05-09
I think any person who major in target tracking system related to the Kalman filter must see this book. This book present the fundamentals of state estimation theory and the tools for the design of state-of-the-art algorithms for target tracking.
The book covers the basic concepts and estimation techniques for static and dynamic systems, linear and nonlinear, as well as adaptive estiomation. This constitutes a one semester graduate course in estimation theory in an electrical/systems engineering program.
The discussion deals mainly with discrete time estimation algorithms, which are natural for digital computer implementation. The basic state estimation algorithm-the Kalman filter-is presented in discrete as well as in continuous time. The use of the estimation algorithms is illustrated on kinematic motion models because they reveal all the major issues and in particular the subtleties encountered in estimation, and this serves as an introdution to tracking.
Guidelines for tracking filter design-selection of the filter design parameters-are given and illustrated in several examples.
At the end of each chapter, a number of problems that enhance the understanding of the theory and the connection of the theoretical material to the real world are given.
And I have this book as text for my paper.

Great Book.......2007-09-17
Fantastic information. Everything you need to know presented in a well thought out format.
A Good and Practical Book.......2007-05-19
Hi, I am a Korean who would like to run my own coffee bar in Korea soon. It was very difficult to find really good guide books here in Korea, I mean ,written in Korean. Hoping to find one, I visited this Amazon and to my happiness I fianlly could find it, this book 'Start and Run a Coffee Bar'. This book is so practical and helpful to me. I appreciate that two writers would share their experience and knowledge with us.
Really Useful.......2007-03-15
I usually dont write these sorts of reviews but this was just exactly what i was looking for. A great primer on things you need to know and do to open a coffee shop including checklists. I would recommend it to newcommers to the business.
Applys to other retail businesses.......2006-12-31
I bought this book several years ago before I knew what type of business I was going to be in. I've now owned a retail store (paint your own pottery) for more than 4 years and looking at this book now, it does have a lot of good information for anyone looking to start and run a retail business with a service aspect. The chapters on business planning, setting up your business, insurance, securing a site, getting to opening, staffing and the last 4-5 chapters on operations all are well-written and applicable to many forms of retail.
Good information--not as complete as I would like.......2005-09-09
As a designer, I was looking more for input on equipment layout and functionality. This book gave me a good equipment list to discuss and layout with the client. The local building department loved our plans! The one area where the book falls short is helping to illustrate some good layouts.

Customer Reviews:
The best sandwich book I've purchased!.......2007-08-05
From the book, "Great sandwiches start with great ingredients, homemade mayonnaise..." The condiment recipes are my favorites (Oven-Roasted Tomatoes (I can eat these everyday), Hot Mustard (awesome), Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise, Lemon Mayonnaise, Balsamic Roasted Garlic--just to name a few). They add so much to the sandwiches.
In addition to the great recipes there is a chapter called "The Basics" in which they explain all the different breads, cheeses, meats, oils and vinegars they use in their recipes. It is quite informative.
I think this would make a great gift for anyone interested in cooking or eating :o)
Great Taste !.......2007-06-29
I just got a Panini maker and was looking for more recipes than what came with the unit. I purchased this one - have made 6 varieties of panini and overall, they were all great ! The book also introduced me to various cheeses as well as to some fantastic accompaniments such as Sun-dried tomato pesto; pickled onions; Peperonata to name a few. In addition to Pananis', there are also recipes for antipasti, salads, tramezzini and bruchetta. This is a book well worth having.
Recipe didn't work.......2007-06-12
The first item I made from this book, Oven-Roasted Tomotoes, didn't work at all. I would be glad to change my rating of this book if someone knows what went wrong. It said to roast at 275 degrees for 20 minutes, baste again with Balsamic (for a total of 1/2-cup), then cook another 20 minutes. Nothing happened after the first 20 minutes because the temp was too low. My oven was pre-heated. I checked for a recipe on Epicurious, and it had baking at 350 for 1 hour... not sure what happened, but it doesn't instill confidence in the book.
Living la dolce vita.......2007-05-29
I would not have thought I would be persuaded to purchase a "cook book" with the abundance of recipes available to me for free on the internet, but I'm glad other reviewers convinced me. I read it cover to cover as soon as it arrived-and my mouth watered the entire time! It really is lovely and full of easy, delicious recipes that exploit the fact that simple ingredients really are the basis of good cooking. I don't think any foodie would be disappointed to add this book to his/her collection.
Make Your Own Panini - Just Like you Found in Italy..........2007-04-16
Oh, if you could smell the heavenly scents emanating from my kitchen right now, you would know why I'm so enamored of this latest addition to my cookbook collection !
I first fell in love with panini during an escorted tour to Italy two years ago that involved several hours in the bus on alternate days. The highlight of the bus trip was the mid-day stop at the ubiquitous roadside restaurant chain known as AutoGrill - far more varied and satisfying than the typical fast food chain restaurant choices that you find on the interstate in the U.S. Every AutoGrill featured fresh-made panini, assembled with just a few fresh and simple ingredients, quickly melded together by a press in the hot grill. I tried unsuccessfully to find comparable sandwiches back in California. Many delis offered sandwiches billed as "panini" but they lacked the authentic flavors and construction of their Italian namesakes.
I received a panini grill as a Christmas gift so that I could try my hand at making panini at home, but was disappointed with the meager cook book that accompanied the grill. I researched specialty cookbooks dedicated to the subject of panini and discovered that "Simple Italian Sandwiches" fit the bill exactly. I was delighted to read in the foreword by Mario Batali that his favorite place to eat in Italy is also the AutoGrill which he called "temples of gastronomic magnificence".
The authors, Jennifer and Jason Denton, also fell in love with the little toasted sandwiches during a trip to Italy and established a tiny Greenwich Village restaurant called `ino that featured the foods they had come to love in Italy. Their recipes offer "maximum flavor and minimal cooking" allowing the cooks to spend more time with their guests.
Before I delved into the panini recipes in "Simple Italian Sandwiches" I purchased warm, soft ciabatta rolls, fresh mozzarella, a wonderfully aromatic wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano, Asiago, Prosciutto di Parma, campari tomatoes on the vine and extra virgin olive oil. You're probably thinking by now that I spent a fortune and traveled far and wide to collect these essential panini ingredients. To the contrary, it required just one trip to the local Costco and cost far less than if I had gone to the expensive Italian deli nearby. As suggested by the authors, I shopped for top quality ingredients and prepared the condimenti myself from scratch. These included fresh basil pesto, balsamic roasted garlic, oven roasted tomatoes and peperonata - diced bell peppers slowly roasted with balsamic vinegar and herbs in olive oil.
The cookbook includes 6 sections:
Basics - the list of suggested top-quality ingredients - breads, meats, cheeses.
Condimenti - including pesto, mayonnaise, roasted garlic, oven-roasted tomatoes, etc.
Panini - 19 recipes
Bruschetta - 15 recipes
Tramezzini - 9 recipes
Antipasti, Merende and Insalate - interesting accompaniments to the sandwiches
I had been expecting a cookbook entirely consisting of panini recipes, but the bruschetta and tramezzini recipes are an enjoyable bonus. I hadn't thought of bruschetta as a type of sandwich, but it's essentially an open face sandwich with delicious fresh ingredients piled on a small slice of crusty, toasted bread. Tramezzini, which means "little something in the middle", are crustless, petite sandwiches made on moist, fresh white bread. The fillings are simple and flavorful, just as with the panini, but the sandwiches are not toasted.
The recipes are very simply presented, one per page, with a nice, crisp typeface and plenty of whitespace to allow you to make your "cook's notes". A column of ingredients and quantities is printed on the left side of the page (reinforcing how few ingredients there are in most of the recipes), with the instructions in step by step form on the right side. Full color photos (46 in total) accompany many of the recipes, helping you to select the recipe that appeals to your appetite and available ingredients and offering attractive serving suggestions.
Panini (and the other Italian sandwiches featured in the book) are an excellent addition to the repertoire of a busy cook, perfect for families on the run and working cooks with little time and energy for cooking after a long day at work. And "Simple Italian Sandwiches" provides a sufficient variety of enticing and practical recipes to ensure that your panini grill earns a permanent spot among the most useful appliances in your kitchen.

Customer Reviews:
Nice Reference.......2007-09-13
Bought this book, very detailed info for operating you bar. The only down side is the size of the font. The font is huge compared to most other books and that makes it a little difficult to read.
A True Handbook for the Profession.......2007-01-26
The Professional Bar and Beverage Managers Handbook has the look and feel of an encyclopedia on the outside, and the contents of a detail oriented bar entrepreneur on the inside. It's a large book, with large print, which leaves plenty of room for margin notes. The book is quite comprehensive and covers end to end, everything to consider when opening and running a bar or nightclub.
The opening chapter provides an extensive overview of opening a bar. It suggests several questions to ask yourself, offers how to conduct market research and analyze your competition and tips on financial planning. This chapter also goes into creating a business plan and provides a 50-page sample business plan to model on the accompanying CD-ROM.
The depth and breadth of detail covered is quite impressive. Topics covered include laws of various states, how to properly prepare and serve drinks, controls, finances, and so much more. An example of the detail can be found in chapter 7, where a section goes into the process of properly pouring a beer. Additionally there are several web links sprinkled throughout the pages pointing the reader to a variety of suppliers and vendors.
Some information may seem over simplified, or common sense, such as the section on "The Qualities of a Good Employee," however this is offset by the overall thoroughness of each section and truly contains the level of information one would expect in a bar manager's handbook.
The CD-ROM is chalk full of forms and charts. The same documents that are contained in chapter 19 are conveniently stored as PDF files for ease of printing. These documents range from alcohol awareness charts inventory control reports and more. My only qualm with the CD-ROM is that the forms are not stored in a format easily edited by end users.
The book is a little pricey, but considering all that's packed into it, there is no question that you'll get more than you pay for, and something you'll want on your shelf. You'll find it at Amazon.com. Bottom line, if you're already a bar or nightclub owner, you could gain some new information, and if you're thinking about opening a bar, you'll have a better idea of what it takes.
Can't go wrong here........2006-09-24
This is no casual companion, but a professional bar manager's handbook which was over two years in the making: as such, it goes far beyond the usual focus on recipes to cover all the basics on how to set up, operate and manage a successful beverage operation. All kinds of bar operators receive tips on trends, marketing, equipment and products, and more. Professionals seeking a comprehensive manual to the business can't go wrong here. And yes, it does include recipes - lots of 'em. And a companion cd-rom packed with information.

The best bar management book in the market!.......2006-08-22
The Professional Bar and Beverage Manager's Handbook is a hefty hardback, and serves as a comprehensive guide to the successful management of bars, pubs, and night clubs. This volume comprises nineteen chapters that cover diverse topics such as how to make a gin and tonic, hiring and firing employees, to tips on how to recognize fake IDs.
A unique and useful feature of this book is the clear state-specific legislation that regulates bar operation in each area. For instance, in Arizona, Happy Hour Laws dictate that no free drinks may be given to patrons, and that bartenders must be age 19 or over in order to pour, sell, and serve alcohol.
Easy to reproduce sample forms include the most common forms used in restaurant management, such as a Receiving Checklist to a Pour Cost Chart form, but also include unique and useful forms such as a robbery description form. A handy companion CD-ROM is included in the volume, and provides forms critical to any successful bar operation, including a sample business plan.
Other useful features of this book include a glossary of bar and management terms, as well as a reference list of manufacturers and service providers. The Professional Bar and Beverage Manager's Handbook is highly recommended for anyone involved in bar and night club operations.
Those Planning To Open A Bar Need This Book.......2006-08-21
I found the format of this book to be very sturdy. The hard cover and strong binding almost guarantee this book will have a nice long life. The larger size of the book allows for larger print inside, which I found much easier to read than many smaller format items.
The text itself is very detailed. In a step-by-step fashion, the authors guide prospective bar, tavern or night club owners through the process of opening a successful business. With relatively short chapters - full of bulleted, numbered lists - this title will be a great resource in those moments when a bar owner needs to find something in a hurry.
This title is all inclusive, as it covers subjects from money matters to food preparation and storage. If you can only buy one book about opening a tavern or bar, this is one you should consider.
Chapter 18 will surely be a popular chapter, reviewed again and again by club owners. Tables giving an overview of all the laws are included. Each of the states are put in order alphabetically, including information on age of service, maximum alcohol per drink, happy hour laws, and server training.
Although not a book that is necessary for the general population, this book definitely deserves a spot on the bar, tavern and night club owners' shelves.

I have taken PMBR and Micromash as well, but neither of those explained exactly how to approach some of the questions like this book. I highly recommend it to those needing help on the MBE.
Strategies and Tactics for the MBE.......2007-07-05
This book provided some very helpful tips on how to succeed in each of the six subjects, such as how to quickly spot and eliminate wrong answers and what tricks to expect from the test makers on each topic of the six subjects. I'm really glad I read this book and worked through its sample questions and tests!
Bar exam prep.......2007-06-08
Very good resource--excellent tips on the nuances of how the bar examiners are trying to trick you. Before PMBR and BarBri, this was the only book many people used to study. I would highly recommend it
Comprehensive for Multistate review.......2007-02-21
I have yet to take the MBE, but my initial take on this book is very positive. Although I think it could do a better job of giving a more detailed summary of each of the sections of the test, it does have roughly 50 multiple choice for each section, and each answer (right or wrong) does spell out the black letter law. It also has a full 200-question MBE at the end of the book. To supplement PMBR/Barbri (or even supplant one of them), this may be the best option. For the price, I believe it's money well spent (and what's another forty on top of a hundred thousand anyway?).
Great way to jump start your MBE study.......2006-07-03
This book provides a strategic way to take MBE questions with an intro of what topics are tested within each subject and then an exam tactics section of what to look for in the questions. Then there are detailed answers for each question so you can look to see why the wrong answers are not correct. I would recommend this to anyone preparing for the Bar Exam, my bar study professor recommended to begin using this book our last semester of school before we actually began heavily studying for the exam, it was good advice!
Book Description
If you're a guitarist who's learned the pentatonic scale up and down the neck but still asks, "During a solo, how do I know what to play and when to play it?", then this book is for you. Its goal is to give you a variety of great blues licks that you can put together bar by bar to create a complete blues solo. Covers: the 12-bar blues progression, cool riffs, complete solos and more. The CD features "Music Minus Me" tracks that let you play along as the featured soloist.

Great Blues Teacher.......2007-08-22
I have been playing for over 35 years, taught and played professionally. This book is the real deal. If you want a book that will show you riffs and how to put them together then this is it. The riffs are arranged in 2 bar phrases that are sections of the the 12 bar blues form. You can pretty much use any 2 bar phrase in conjunction with any combination of 5 other 2 bar phrases to make a solo. You will play these 2 bar phrases and say to yourself, I have heard that riff and now I am playing it. This is not beginner stuff that merely runs up and down the blues or pentatonic scales, these are real phrases that you have heard on CDs. Buy this book if you want to really learn to play the blues!!

An excellent book/CD combo. Provides most everything you need to know to play guitar blues. (You still gotta practice though).
Excellent Book.......2007-01-26
I am 46 years old and just started to play less than a year ago, I spent most of my time learning and working scales, up and down, over and over again. (I actually listened to my teacher) This book is awesome, it has given me lots of great riffs to work with, the cd is a great tool for learning the phrasings. I have already started to experiment with my own versions of the riffs. The "Music Minus Me" tracks are great for practicing and perfecting the riffs. There are 3 different keys to work in, allowing a wider range of learning. My wife now prefers that I practice/play without head phones on. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks for a great book.

Great learning tool.......2007-01-04
This book does just what it says on the box! No complications. It breaks down a simple 12 bar blues and provides plenty of 2 bar riff ideas that you can use over the backing tracks. Tracks are simple slow blues in E, A and G [2 of each] and each about 4+ minutes long. It's a great learning tool and worth buying just for these jam tracks.
