ONE OF THE BEST.......2007-10-04
I have spent an entire year devouring books on the Spiritual Laws of the Universe, you name it, ive read it. I am finally understanding the concepts now and my life feels great. I started with This book "Excuse me your life is waiting" then went on the read EVERYTHING (thanks to the recommended reading list on the back page of The Attractor Factor, thanks Joe!!) including many FANTASTIC Authors including Abraham/Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Florence Scovel-Shinn, Ghalil,Mike Dooley. and many many others, and the thing is Lynn gives techniques to incorporate with what All of these Great Great people are teaching. We do have to RAISE OUR VIBRATION, We have to FEEL GOOD. Postitive thoughts/images/feelings will GIVE US positive events/things in our lives. The thing is Lynn gives us WONDERFUL Techniques to use, I have found myself now going back to this book and reading it again and just LOVING it, it is a must must must read (and practice) to compliment your other readings. Law of Attraction does not work.......2007-10-01
I absolutely love this book, I have read it several times but the entire premise is flawed.
In chapter six she writes that she "hired a salesperson that was more into lack than I was (naturally; that was all I could attract)" and at the bottom of the same page she writes "It was somewhere right around that emotional low when a bunch of my all-too-enthusiastic friends began insisting I look into this material they had gotten hold of about the Law of Attraction".
Those two sentences are contradictory. If the only thing that she could attract was someone focusing on lack, how would it be possible for her to attract her friends that were focusing on abundance. If the Law of Attraction were a law of the universe, as she states, either she would attract one but not the other. She can't have both.
While I love her story and the inspiration of how things can be turned around in one's life at the drop of a hat, I love the explanation that conditions and circumstances are unimportant, and I have no doubt that her experiences were true and that the "suit of well being" where nothing can harm you is possible, I cannot believe that it came about by using the Law of Attraction. It would have been violated for her to get the information to her in the first place.
I believe that what happened was that the Expanded Self, as she calls, just got tired of playing with the situation that it had created and just created a totally different scenario, only it used the Law of Attraction as an excuse to do so, and make her think that the Law of Attraction was responsible for her turnaround when it has no value whatsoever.
A Life-changing Book.......2007-08-30
Once in a few years you come across a book which has a life-changing impact. This is one of them. The changes in my life as a result of reading it are profound. A few months after reading the book, I am still implementing the ideas and manifesting amazing results. In the last twenty or more years I have read an enormous amount of self-help books, many of them dealt with Reality Creation. This books most definitely gets the first prize. If, like me, you have been reading many books and still not experiencing any significant changes in your reality, this book is the biggest present you could give yourself. Buy it and watch the miracles come marching into your life.

I have already experienced amazing changes and dreams coming true. And having a positive attitude everyday seems to make the day better and people do respond to the positive energy. Pozgar's book is organized by legal topic and cites relevant case law in all instances. It is an excellent overview of American law as it applies to the health care practitioner or organization. He has taken a topic that it difficult to communicate and made it very enjoyable reading. Students will find it much easier reading than most graduate level texts.
Great information for those new to health care law........1999-06-29
This book was very useful to me. I am a health information management student planning to enter a graduate health administration program. I took the class and this particular book was the text. Our instructor is a lawyer and runs risk management at our university hospital. The text further explained basic legal priciples and related them to health care. The text is easy to read and gives several references to actual documents.

Makes me feel smarter!.......2003-12-01
I am desk jockey who does electrical design work. I have little in-the-field electrical experience. I use the NEC codes frequently to make sure what I design is code-compliant. I have a copy of the standard 1999 NEC book and found many parts of it difficult to interpret. This new "handbook" version has answered all of the questions and uncertainties I had about the code. It has an illustration and explanation for just about every question I could think of. Even when I don't need a certain thing, I have found myself leafing through the book just to learn more.
I would recommend this to anyone, but especially engineer types or those who are inexperienced. I feel much more confident about my job and I don't have to ask electricans those questions that make you feel stupid anymore. Even master electricians will appreciate the explanations of code changes from the 1999 version. Overall, I can't recommend this book more, well worth the $50 or so more than the standard NEC book.

If you hang around with fellow homeowners, there's a lot of water cooler conversation about various things, including the electrical code. This book just nails everything you ever wondered about, everything you haven't yet wondered about, and a few thousand things that you'll never need to know. Want to install a subpanel? Want to figure what gauge of cable to use to supply it? Want to know how to calculate the in^3 fill of a box? How deep to bury an underground cable? How to use raceways? That information totals about 1/4 of 1% of the contents of this book.

this book is very poor. do not purchase. I am an intern pharmacist and it is in no way applicable to the practice of pharmacy. Having used this book, I have no better understanding of pharmacy law. I recommend the Weisman text for CA law, as it is a better book.

This is a fairly easy to read text that is helpful in preparing for the pharmacy boards. It provides essential coverage of pertinent information needed in the everyday practice of pharmacy.
As a pharmacy intern I found this text not only excellent for board review but also as a continuing source for reference as a pharmacist. It is divided into varioius chapters with relavent and useful case studies. It also raises day-to-day ethical questions in the practice of pharamcy that you may encounter.
If you're looking for a comprehensive, easy-to-follow book on pharmacy practice, both in hospital and retail based environments, then this is the book for you.

This is the second book by Joe Vitale that I have finished in record time! He has me hook, line and sinker.
I thought "The Attractor Factor" was great, but this one makes me even more of a true fan of his work.
ANYONE who buys "Zero Limits" will greatly benefit from the information it contains. As far as I am concerned, there is NO OTHER self improvement bok or guru on the market. Joe Vitale's works blow them ALL out of the water.
I can't wait for "The Key" in a few weeks!

Helpful - but out of date.......2006-03-22
I had this text book overnighted to me due to the fact that my campus bookstore didn't have it in stock. I paid the shipping then found out later that the book had been updated and my classmates were all using the fourth edition. The editions are rather similar and the book is still helpful. There are enough "real time" examples as well as charts & graphs to make this a necessary text for Health Politics. The appendix section is also noteworthy.

I like this book. It is very informative, comprehensive and well-researched. The manner of presentation is well-organized, the language is easy to understand. The information, relevant to the current issues of this decade and past history. This is a very good reference for those who are taking health care infrastructure, especially nurses; or for those who want to learn the history, evolution and course of health care in U.S.

I have several different resources I'm using to study for my life insurance test and what I was looking for was a book that could give me a feel for the insurance business as a producer and one who really likes helping people. This book does that and more and makes you understand what a great field this is and how you can make peoples lives better by providing this service. In regard to "Exam Cram, Life and Health" I would recommend this book to my adult children if they want to pass the California exam. In addition to being a great test preparation book, I was able to get my computer to read the book to me, by using Adobe and Microsoft text-to-speech programming, which is free to the general public. This book was much better than the text provided by the school. It even includes information needed to open my own business.

A MUST READ book.......2000-05-26
This is an excellent book for parents of children injured at birth as a result of shoulder dystocia. My own son suffered a permanent brachial plexus injury at birth due to shoulder dystocia and this book is one of the most valuable pieces of information that I have found in six years of research. Although intended for use as a textbook, Dr. O'Leary's clear and organized writing style will appeal to those of us not in the medical field as well. Dr. O'Leary explains the risk factors for shoulder dystocia, the accepted procedures for relieving a shoulder dystocia during delivery, and includes a valuable and informative section on litigation, a subject that parents of children with permanent injuries resulting from this obstetrical emergency will no doubt become familiar with sooner or later. It is very well-written, professional, and enlightening. Highly recommended.
