Book Description
Wayne Herschel, in a culmination of 15 years of research on archaeo-astronomy, has unraveled an extraordinary secret. It identifies the origins of Leonardo Da Vinci's "Vitruvian man" human blueprint code with Stonehenge and the pyramid sites around the world. Herschel stumbled on `Da Vinci's secret geometry' at Giza in Egypt and realized that all 50 of the pyramids of Lower Egypt appear to represent the brightest stars forming constellations along the length of the Milky Way. But more importantly, there is the proverbial x that marks the spot and that claims cryptically that human lineage is associated with what appears to be another Sun-like star. The author also proves that Stonehenge has the same cosmic solution and that the pyramid layouts of the Maya, the Incas, the Khmer and many others around the world, all repeat the same star map theme. They all exhibit the same obsession with one nearby Sun-like star in Taurus, a star that the ancients passionately refer to as the star of their gods. This 289-page full-color glossy book takes the reader on a riveting journey from one clue to the next, presenting numerous forgotten ancient texts and artifacts. The Hidden Records presents the strongest evidence to date that humans have never ever been alone in this vast universe.
Customer Reviews:
Rip off?.......2007-09-30
It LOOKS nice...lots of big bright detailed pictures and it reads nice(the author's admits his 'girlfriend' practically wrote the book for him b/c he apparently had bad writing skills...). The information is practically a repeat of stuff found in other books like Robert Bauval's The Orion Mystery...the bibliography for the book is meager...but the author does add an interesting fresh new perspective to some of history's enigmas...he proposes that the Giza pyramids are only HALF of a bigger star map and he inclueds very convincing visuals to show it!
The only thing I found odd were the actual pictures of him and his co-author in Egypt...it looked so FAKE like they were standing in front of a bluescreen or their images were cropped out in photoshop and pasted onto some Egyptian scene. Kinda funny too because they are in this 'Indian Jones' garb with no sweat on them whatsoever...it's as if the author felt he had to sell an image of an 'adventuring archaeologist' in order to sell his book...CHEESY.
All in all beautiful thought provoking book; I had no problem putting down 20 dollars for it and can't wait for the other ones to come in the series...I'm taking it with a cautionary grain of salt though ofcourse ; )
Intriguing, thought provoking, and credible!.......2007-04-13
I was simply amazed at the content that's in this book. It is very thought-provoking, and I find it entirely credible. Mr. Herschel has studied this out thoroughly and generously shares what he has found with each of us. The truths he has discovered will probably upset some, those who are used to thinking inside the box and don't like for their applecarts to be upset... but there is just too much evidence to ignore. He is definitely onto something, one of the major discoveries of our time. I would recommend it to anyone.
Fascinating info, poorly written.......2007-02-07
As intriguing as I find the information presented in this book, I cannot recommend actually READING the thing! I give it four stars for content and overall appearance. It's well-printed on glossy paper with beautiful photographs and great illustrations, but the authors' carelessness with regard to attribution makes me feel that many of the images were simply stolen. I'm not saying they were, but that is how it makes me feel: I was unable to find a single attribution, even when the text stated that some images were photocopied at a library or generated by an unnamed commercial computer program. There IS a fair-sized bibliography, but no indication of what came from where. Perhaps the law is different in South Africa.
As for the writing, it is redundant to the point of ennui, and full of . . . dramatic moments! If you only read the captions, you'll get almost all of the story; there's so much repetition that the body text is unnecessary until nearly the end of the book. A professional editing job--even a copy-edit--would improve the book tremendously. Also, the typeface and leading are atrocious...or am I just getting too old? :) The point size was so small I had to use reading glasses and much brighter light than I normally read by.
I find the main message of the book extremely feasible. Herr Herschel believes that pyramids and other monuments all over the Earth--and even Mars--indicate that intelligent life came from a particular star in the general direction of the Pleiades in the Taurus constellation. (Mr. Herschel believes this intelligent life was human, but I have seen a lot of evidence elsewhere that indicates otherwise. Still, it's plausible that they may have been the progenitors for humanity.)
This star is not nearly as far away as the Pleiades, and is thought to be less than 20 light years from Earth. Frankly, other than its similarity to our Sun, not much is known about it. Mr. Herschel identifies this star for us near the end of the book, showing its catalog number and path over the past 17,250 years or so.
Overall, I recommend this book to anyone who is open-minded enough to believe we might not be the only thing God created. :)
Read it and draw your own conclusion.......2006-09-26
By far a very thorough and intelligent read. I could not put it down.
The evidence that pyramids all over earth from a lost epoch of man align to specific star clusters is overwhelming in my opinion.
Doesn't take a PhD to realize that if something looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.... chances are it's a duck.
Everthing is presented via full color images and in an easy to comprehend format. It has changed my perspective and at the same time answered many questions for me personally; and of course will raise many more!
An absolute must read!
A new and iconoclastic analysis of coded information presented in ancient or prehistoric structures .......2006-08-11
"The Hidden Records: The Star of the Gods" is a new and iconoclastic analysis of coded information presented in ancient or prehistoric structures such as the pyramids of Egypt, Stonehenge, and the ancient edifices of both the Americas. Wayne Herschel presents in vast and colorful detail his painstaking conclusions after many years of study of these diverse 'star-maps' of antiquity. Many color photographs and illustrations help to document his many findings, some of which are shattering to established or conventional science. Readers will want to follow this material closely as further evidence unfolds and is analyzed. The idea of ancient astronauts is perhaps not new; but the evidence is startling and convincingly presented. Profusely illustrated in color throughout, The Hidden Records is a welcome and recommended addition to personal and academic Metaphysical Studies collections, as well as supplemental reading lists in the fields of astronomy, mythology, and ancient history.

Customer Reviews:
a wonderful and clarifying little book........2007-07-03
how many jews and christians too have been deceived by this star? this book will tell you that a lot of them have. an important eye opener.
The Seal of Solomon........2007-03-10
This small book by O.J Graham is an excellent history about the hexagram.
Some call it the "Star of David" but it actually predates King David's time.
The symbol has abundant ties to Astarte and other false gods. Astarte means "star".
The hexagram,or "Seal of Solomon" was accepted as occult by the occult world.
King Solomon adopted the hexagram when he fell into idolatry.
This book researches both the origin and the usage of the hexagram.
There are footnotes and Scripture quotes throughout the book.
Appendix C is a useful, extensive list of Messianic prophecies in the Bible.
I recommend this book.
Hexagram History 101........2003-02-19
I took off a star because of the book's format. It is too small and reading a theological/historical treatise should not be as difficult as reading Audobon's mini Field Guide to Birds.
The book's thesis is a valid and little known one that needs more widespread explanation, however. The Magen David/Star of David/Seal of Solomon/Hexagram is NOT of Jewish origin, but instead finds its origin in pagan idolatry towards Ashtoreth which was adopted by Israel's king Solomon in defiance of God's commandments. The six pointed star was used in Gnostic and even Islamic artwork and symbolism before it came to use amoung Jews. It was adopted by Cabalists who got their beliefs from the earlier heretic Gnostics who believed the God of the Old Testament was evil and worshipped Lucifer. Issac Luria was a Cabalist who popularized it in the sixteenth century and it was used on a coat of arms by the banking family of Rothschild. Further on down the line the hexagram was utilized as the symbol for Zionism and became the emblem of the Israeli flag.
Much of the controversy surrounds the star's meaning. Jews claim that it was actually used by king David in the Bible, but in fact it may have been named after other Davids in history who were popular Jewish leaders. Also proposed is that the triangle pointing up represents God and the triangle pointing downward represents man. The symbolism is, however, a Cabalistic representation of the opposing forces (like the Eastern Yin Yang) that involves sexual congress and the loss of difference between male and female. It can also be a simplification of the more complex symbol that represents the Zodiac. The hexagram has the code for the Beast of Revelation in it--6 sides clockwise, 6 counter-clockwise, and 6 sides that form a hexagon in the middle of the figue. As a note, the author points out that the number six represents imperfection in the Bible, as opposed to seven which represents the fullness of God and His creation.
Well documented........2001-05-27
I checked all the information in the Six-Pointed Star by Dr. O. J. Graham, and found them to be all accurate. I found out also, that even today Jews are not the only ones who use this symbol. Dr. Graham is correct in saying that the people in the occult, astrology, and witchcraft all use this symbol and that it really belongs to them. As Dr. Graham pointed out, because innocent Jews use the hexagram too, they are badly regarded by those who do not know that they are using it innocently. I checked the facts mentioned in the book concerning the Menorah (seven-branched candlestick) and discovered that God indeed gave the seven-branched candlestick to the people Israel as an everlasting covenant. Israel included the House of Israel, and the House of Judah (after Solomon's fall). I always wondered why the people Israel abandoned the use of the Menorah and started using the six-pointed star. However, the book by Dr. Graham settled that question, as he pointed out that Solomon used it when he went into idolatry and witchcraft after marrying the daughter of Pharoah, so a few may have adopted it then, even if it was not widely used. As Dr. Graham pointed out - Hitler put the six-pointed star on the Jewish people to insult them. But it seems to me that like any fashion - one person wears it, then many follow without checking the facts- apply to why so many take this as a symbol of being Jewish. It's hard to believe that even in his death, Hitler continues to insult the Jews - and now, by their own willing hands. Like the author, I do not believe that most of them really want to identify with witchcraft. The book is factual and impartial, and helps non-Jewish people to understand and stop their prejudices... I was happy for the information, and I give this book five stars.
The truth can't be denied.......2001-02-18
Graham rigorously proves that there is no connection between the worship of God and the symbol the modern Jews use. I would go so far as to say there are no real symbols of God. For instance why do Christians carry the symbol of a fish and claim it represents Jesus.
Graham aptly shows the connection of Rebellion to the star, and Judaism. Since the only tride to deny Jesus was Judah, Judah-(ism) was created.
This is only one piece of the puzzle though. What Graham alludes to, and many authors claim and thoroughly prove, is that modern Isreal wasn't created by God. He first begins with who does the symbol Isreal praise represent.
This is a good, also short book. You will enjoy every minute of it.

Book Description
The Series
This new series is aimed at the same people as the Practical Astronomy Series – in general, active amateur astronomers. However, it is also appropriate to a wider audience of astronomically-informed readers. Because optical astronomy is a science that is rather at the mercy of the weather, all amateur astronomers inevitably have periods when observing is impossible. At such times they tend to read books about astronomy and related subjects. The Astronomers’ Universe Series begins by assuming an appropriate level of knowledge. Basic information about the distance, the solar system, galaxies, etc. is not part of these books, which can take a basic understanding of this as their starting point.
The series is differentiated from popular science series (such as Springer’s Copernicus books) by a strong design image which will attract active amateur astronomers, but will also appeal to "armchair astronomers" (or cosmologists) and other readers who already have the necessary background knowledge.
The Book
This book is about the origin questions – the questions of how (1) the planets, (2) the stars, (3) the galaxies, and (4) the universe itself were formed. These are the biggest questions in astronomy, and in the last decade, there has been a revolution in observational astronomy which has meant that we are very close to answering three of the four big questions. It is therefore a propitious time for this book.
In the last decade, there has been a revolution in observational astronomy, which has meant that we are very close to answering three of the four big ‘origin questions’, of how the planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe itself were formed.
As recently as 1995 we knew of only one planetary system: our own. Now we know of over a hundred, and this knowledge has helped to reveal how planetary systems form. In this same decade, new types of telescope have allowed us to penetrate through clouds of interstellar dust to see the first moments in the life of a star, and also to see directly (not infer) what galaxies looked like thirteen billion years ago, only a billion years after the Big Bang. Because of this new knowledge, we now have provisional answers to the second and third origin question. The final question is the one we can’t yet answer, but even here there have been big steps towards an answer. Within the last four years, astronomers have discovered that the universe is geometrically flat and that its expansion is accelerating, fuelled by a mysterious dark energy.
This revolution in our observational knowledge of the universe – including the first precise measurements of its age and matter and energy content - has been vital groundwork for new ideas about its origin, including the possibility that the universe originated in a larger `meta-universe’.
Origin Questions describes, at an understandable and basically non-mathematical level, the origin questions and the recent steps that have been taken towards answering them.

Scientific evidence to prove that mankind could not possibly have evolved naturally. Step by step clues that explore the very real possibility that we are direct descendants of ancient starmen who came from other planets to Earth millions of years ago.
Max H. Flindt was the first to scientifically document from biological evidence the possibility that mankind may be a hybrid from a prehistoric union of terrestrial humanoids and starmen!!!!
Customer Reviews:
A lot of other things are "hyperbole" too..........2006-07-24
It is easy to dismiss the content of this book as hyperbole, but what proof do we have for the voluminous and laborious and equally slipshod evolutionary and anthropological theories of "orthodox science", only instituted in the last 150 years or so? And who is to explain the deep subconcious hold that "sacred scriptures" still have on all humankind inspite of all the "development" that came out of Europe in the past 150-200 years? I am not saying we should believe in mumbo-jumbo, but there IS something buried deep within - that needs bringing out to the light of day...
Hyperbole at its best.......2002-04-03
This book just keeps promising but never delivers. If you've read Sitchin or van Daniken or any of the others, don't bother. The intended audience for this book is a total mystery. It's a waste of time. I couldn't bring myself to finish it.
A controversial book.......2002-01-02
I'll never look at evolution the same.
Thought-provoking exploration of mankind's alien origins.......1999-06-03
I read the first edition of this book about 20 years ago, and I've been searching for it ever since I lost that copy. Needless to say, I am delighted to see that it has been revised and re-released. It presents the theory that mankind is an alien colony, and that we are a hybrid of naturally-evolved humanoids and alien visitors. Much of the evidence presented is hard to ignore! The authors show that even the Bible may be reinterpreted to support their theories. I highly recommend this book to all readers interested in how we came to be on this planet.

Book Description
Prefaced by and highly recommended by religious researcher Jordan Maxwell. Full title of Symbols, Sex, and the Stars in Popular Beliefs, An Outline of the Origins of Moon and Sun worship, Astrology, Sex Symbolism, Mystic Meaning of Numbers, the Cabala, and Many Popular Customs, Myths, Superstitions and Religious Beliefs. Over 300 illustrations, includes over 120 pages of sex symbolism. Jordan Maxwell says "this is a must read book for those who are concerned about pagan influence on the modern day Church."
Customer Reviews:
A must read!.......2005-06-09
Ernest Brusenbark's Symbols, Sex, and the Stars is another profound read and great support to go along with the works of John Allegro, Jordan Maxwell, Robert Brown, Acharya S., Kersey Graves, Gerald Masey, Manly Hall, etc.
Though given as a brief overview of the ideas, in the areas of astrotheology and symbolism, the book covers some ideas in more depth on certain concepts I had not considered before. He does a fantastic job of debunking "numerology," more properly called Gematria. The book also delves deep into the symbolism of sex and fertility worship, and it's associations with the stars.
Unfortunately, though it is expected for the era this book was written in (1940's), Brusenbark completely misses all associations to shamanism and entheogens. Only twice are medicines or drugs mentioned, and only in passing, once with the caduceus, and another with the Essenes. In fact, the closest he get's to the drug issue is this comment:
"Throughout his epistles, Paul speaks of visions, of being in trances, of having bodily afflictions, and if he suffered from epilepsy, as appears to be the case, his vision of Jesus was probably an hallucination during an epileptic coma." Pg. 324
Overall, a well thought out, serious, supportive, and enlightening read. This is one that should not be over looked by anyone serious in studying the ancient mysteries.
I must admit that the book lacked the ability to draw me deep into it, and hypnotize me with its words as so many books do. Therefore, and not for any lack of content, I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5.
This Book Tree edition, published by Paul Tice, is prefaced by Jordan Maxwell, a favorite in research on the ancient mysteries.
Don't hesitate to buy it.

Book Description
Are we alone in the Universe? What is our place in it? How did we get here? We have long searched for the answers to questions such as these, and scientists are beginning to find some of the answers. In this beautifully illustrated book, Daniel Altschuler provides the reader with the elements to understand the questions and their answers as far as we know them. He explores subjects from physics and astronomy, to geology and paleontology. Along the way he touches on topics such as the search for life on other worlds and the hazards of asteroid impacts. Written in an engaging and readable style, readers will be intrigued by the surprising connections among the stars, our planet, and life itself. Daniel Altschuler is Director of the Arecibo Observatory in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the site of the world's largest single-dish radio telescope.
Customer Reviews:
A propitious encounter .......2005-11-28
While waiting to go into a banquet at a Secular Humanist conference, a man with the name tag: Daniel Altschuler, Arecibo P.R. caught my interest. Inside we shared a table where he told me of his book and I told him of mine, "Concepts: A ProtoTheist Quest for Science-Minded Skeptics". I had copies of mine with me and gave him one but he didn't, so I ordered one from Amazon. It was a propitious encounter indeed; he's very personable and knowledgeable.
As part of a larger context, my book devotes only some 40 pages (with no graphics) to the evolution of the Universe, Sun, Earth and Life. Altschuler devotes 240 pages interspersed with many colored photos and drawings. I highly recommend reading his fuller descriptions and explanations from the Big Bang, thru star, planet and asteroid formation, to the emergence of Life and the prospect of our foolish arrogance extinguishing it. I found his book both entertaining and enlightening.
Excellent.......2002-09-11
From the rising of a beautiful sunny summer day, and enjoying life, to looking up at the stars, and seeing them in a different light. This book was very enjoyable. Most books on Astronomy, Evolution, Atmosphere, Geophysics etc. are basically just that, one subject matter and lightly cover over all others. In this book we are first taken on a journey of those that have contributed in most fields of science from the ground up as well as to the extremes of the universe. It brings to
mind the responsibility that all mankind has and how all mankind should have at least a basic knowledge of the sciences. It also becomes apparent that people have become unconcerned or
disinterested in what goes on, on our beautiful planet, and this magnificent universe that we are privileged to be a part of. This book should be read by professionals as well as those who know very little about the sciences. It could very well change peoples mind for the better, and get them interested in real science instead of dwelling on the fictional part of it. Hopefully, after reading this book people will come to realize that they also have a part to play in the world of science. It reminds us that it is time for each one of us to be responsible citizens of the world.
How we came to be here, and whether we are alone.......2002-07-11
Children Of The Stars: Our Origin, Evolution And Destiny by Daniel R. Altschuler (Director of the National Astronomy and Ionosphere Center's Arecibo Observatory) is a marvelously presented scientific tour through the mysteries of the cosmos, looking at what science has to say about how we came to be here, and whether we are alone in the universe. Written in plain terms easily accessible to the non-specialist general reader, and illustrated with beautiful color drawings and photographs, Children Of The Stars is a remarkable and enthusiastically recommended vision of galactic enigmas and beyond. Highly recommended for personal, school, and community library astronomy reference collections.
A folkbook, for the naturalist at heart........2002-06-22
A friend gave me a copy of Altschuler's book "Children of the Stars". Once I started reading it, it dawns on me that this guy can write. It is a bit of a tour de forces on the scientific foundations of the natural world, but written with clarity, a sense of humor and a great deal of passion. His prose is eminently readable, and I swear I sensed some of Gould, Dawkins, and Alan Lightman ability to describe while preserving focus. This is a book for the scientist and the scientist at heart. The author goes from the first few seconds of the universe to the wanders of molecular biology, showing the threads that ties it all into a unified entity, nature.

If Animals Could Talk: Creation Speaks for Itself

Product Description
Stars have fascinated man from the beginning. The twinkling lights strewn across the night sky inspire, move, and perplex humans. While some observers see random patterns, others may interpret it differently, using horoscopes based on star clusters to guide their lives. Still others look to the stars and see God's greatest glory deliberately, majestically, and divinely designed across the universe. Take a fresh and interesting new view on the stars with Dr. Werner Gitt, a popular international creationist speaker and lecturer. Gitt shows convincingly that star evidence demands a super-intelligent Designer, and adresses such diverse subjects as the Bethlehem star and modern astronomy. He also shows conclusively that, as with other features of our universe, stars do indeed have purpose-- and their place in God's marvelous and intricate design.

Product Description
Originally published in 1948 with a forward by Dr. Albert Einstein himself, THE UNIVERSE AND DR. EINSTEIN is a concise, lucid exposition of relativity theory which is comprehensible to almost any layman. Barnett often uses the same mental images that Einstein employed to originally develop relativity. This book is appropriate reading even for those with no background in physics. After more than 50 years, THE UNIVERSE AND DR. EINSTEIN remains required reading for every student and scientist seeking to unravel the complexity of Einstein's theories. It explains the answers that science offers to the puzzle of what exists, how and when.
Customer Reviews:
Great little early 50s classic still worth reading.......2005-12-22
I've read just about every book on Einstein's theories meant for the general reader (as well as not-so-general reader) and this is the clearest, most concise, and best-written book ever done on the subject.
I read this book almost 35 years ago and it's good to see from the other reviews of the older editions of the work that people still know about this terrific little book. It's a little masterpiece of science reportage done during a time (1950) when there were very few talented writers doing this sort of thing (unlike today), and in which there wasn't much demand for science writers in general. Lincoln Barnett was a gifted journalist and he produced a little classic in this book.
