Ed McCabe does a great job of describing all methods of using oxygen for better health. I found the book to be so interesting that I had difficulty putting the book down.

With the information presented in the book, I would expect the reader to be much more informed about options in health care so that they may use their own judgement to pursue greater health.

This book is better than most on this subject matter. Most of these books tend to be exceedingly dry, droll listings of facts. This book is actually written in a fairly lively style. I enjoyed it.

This is the most extensive and detailed book I have read about oxygen therapies. All types of therapies, oxygen peroxide applications, the use of ozonation for air and water, some commercial available products with formulas that include oxygen, all are extensively explained in this book of around 600 pages, which I consider a reference on this subject.

On the minus side, most of the commercial products analysed are sold by a web site somehow related to the author of this book. There are many other products on the market, and it would be good that some of them were also referred in this book.

I purchased this book along with Robert Barefoot's "The Calcium Factor" in search for answers to my chronic health complaints. When this book arrived I thought to myself, good Lord, it's huge, it'll take me forever to read it. I felt a tad bit overwhelmed but when I opened it up and started reading I couldn't put it down. I read the entire book in 2 days. I consider this book to be the Bible on Health. Every home should have a copy. I immediately purchased the book for my mother and then called her and told her that I am having a book sent to her and would she please humor me and read the book all the way through. She agreed. Needless to say the book turned her life around as well for which I will be eternally grateful. She then called my sister and said, "There's a book I want you to read, I'll buy it for you if you will read it". This book has now touched the lives of several of my family members and friends in a very dramatic way. This information and the information in Barefoot's book has turned my life around. I truly believe these books have saved my life.

A Book Lacking in Practical Information.......2007-07-14

My reason for becoming interested in HBOT? A child with severe cystic acne. After trying many treatments, there was little improvement. I thought, "If HBOT can heal wounds, why not the ones on this child's face?"

I pre-ordered this book on Amazon. The book jacket draws you in. It says, "HPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY: The Groundbreaking New Treatment for..." Well, then there is a long list. The problem? The book only very briefly touches on the majority of those conditions. A lot of pages are spent covering brain injuries, either by accident, illness or birth. A good amount of pages talk about cardiac issues and diabetes.

When my child started HBOT, I wanted to be sure the staff knew what they were doing. I was hoping that the book would give me detailed, technical info. It was light on that. The doctor spent a good amount of time trying to prove the the science behind HBOT, almost desperate to prove that it is not kooky. He also devoted many pages to the political aspects of HBOT. Very boring and not helpful to one currently doing HBOT. I read the book (twice) and still had many unanswered questions.

The book is worth reading if interested in HBOT, but won't give you many specifics about the nuts and bolts of administering HBOT.

The Oxygen Revolution ---- what a wonderful book! This is what has been needed for the general public for so long! There are many books on hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the medical profession but this is the first one I know of that speaks to the layperson.

I've seen what hyperbaric oxygen therapy can do for people who felt hopeless before giving hyperbaric therapy a try. The results have ranged from subtle to dramatic - what some call miracles and, having seen the changes, I can understand why.

The Oxygen Revolution is set up in a way that you can choose what you want to learn about. You may want to read it all or you may only be interested (at this time) in certain conditions. Dr. Harch makes it easy to do just that by the way he has set it up. Part III of The Oxygen Revolution is of extreme value to all of us. Once you've familiarized yourself with the conditions that hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help, Part III tells us what we REALLY need to know: how to get HBOT when we need it, what obstacles to expect, and how to get involved to change healthcare policy. For me, this was of incredible value! I don't need to understand how hyperbaric oxygen therapy works but I do need to know how to get it when I need it.

It amazes me that so many know so little about this treatment when it has been around for quite some time. But then again, when the medical community itself has not taken the time to educate itself fully regarding hyperbaric therapy, how can we expect to know about it? Most of the time, it is through our doctors that we become familiar with therapies, treatments, procedures, etc.

I urge everyone to read the book; educate YOURSELF. If you wait until you or someone you love has an actual need for hyperbaric therapy, you will be fighting the clock to become informed. Even worse, you may never know it is an option to help with or achieve recovery.

Dr. Harch is truly an expert and leader in this field of medicine. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him or hearing him speak, you know he is passionate about hyperbaric oxygen therapy, in particular, for neurological conditions and has spent his career fighting to make it available for everyone, everywhere.

This book is a need item to help trouble shoot problems with boiler, DA tanks, condensate return tanks,pumps, and piping. If you can see the problem, you will probably see a picture of the problem in this book along with what caused it...and in color 95 percent of the time. It has been a real life saver, literlly. You gotta have this book even if you only use it once..it could save your life, or your building/s. Try it ..you will like it. My instructor in 2 grade class was so impressed it got one.

Lehninger's book remains the best single text in biochemistry, at least in English. A fine book for undergraduates, it is also the one volume that you may keep on your shelf for years to come, and the best biochem text for those whose primary specialty is not biochemistry (e.g. medicine, p-chem, microbio). No text is ever a substitute for the journals if you work in the field, but this book gives a sense of the whole discipline that is beneficial for anyone who may become too narrowly fixed on one topic. Its clear writing is also a blessing, both for those using English as a second language, and for native speakers with some affection for their own language

This is the only really good book I've read about the evolution, history and chemistry of life. It's especially good when it is least philosophical. As when pondering over the likely order of ways to handle elemental oxygen - as it (or it's relatives peroxide or superoxide) most probably had to be handlet even before it was produced by plants. - And here are no tiresome stories about geologists having to travel around. It's on topic and well written.

Although not quite as pulled together as "Power, Sex, Suicide", this is a wonderful account of modern biochemistry. There are fresh ideas on nearly every page and his writing is amazingly clear. I realized halfway through that there are very few diagrams in the text, yet I felt like I didn't need any; a rarity for any science book.

It may be a little tough going if you haven't had some chemistry/biology background, but it seems like it would be accessible to most readers with a undergrad science background.

I am an organic chemist, and as such have a deep and intimate knowledge of the subject. I can honestly say that this is one of the best written science books out there. Nick Lane is a wonderful writer for an academic. The book is well researched and engaging.

This is my second purchase of this particular training journal. It's very "barebones" without all the unneeded bells & whistles (e.g. food charts, nutrition information, etc.) It's a spiral bound notebook that allows you to keep track of poundage/set information. I found it to be very durable...able to withstand being constantly tossed in a gym bag. Definitely well worth the money.

Training journals are great tools to ensure progress by being able to refer to previous weights and reps. The only thing that I don't like about this particular journal is the way the front cover is designed to go over the spiral binding. This design increases the chances of the front cover ripping off because it does not fold back neatly. Overall though, I do like this journal.

I have been using oxygen peroxide for quite a few years, not IV therapy or internally, but for ear infections, chronic sinuses, bathing ocassionally, gargling etc. and I can tell you that it does work. As a sufferer of chronic ear and sinus infections 10 yrs. plus after using the peroxide for these they have subsided. NO more antibiotics and no more chronic sinus issues! Maybe I will write a book telling you how effective it actually worked for me. HA! Not really, but I can't say enough about it's effectiveness.
It is not be the only book or source of information on peroxide out there, many websites are giving lots of info on the use of this but for an interesting read I would recommend it. I just wish I could find a practioner in my area! = )

This book was very interesting and very easy to read. As far as following his suggestion, it would be a little difficult. But it has put me on the right track and I feel that is what an "info" book should do...make you think about how to make their advise work.
