Knocked Out!!.......2007-04-05
"Knocked out by my Nunga-Nungas" is a histerical book about girls, guys, teenagers in gerneral, gossip, Georgia's, the main character's, family, and her cat, Angus. Georgia Nicholson is a normal teenage girl who has a "sex god", Robbie, as a boyfriend and she has a hard time being faithful to him even though she is totally obsessed with him. Georgia's red botomosity keeps her ending up locking lips with Dave the Laugh, her ex-boyfriend, who never fully got over Georgia. Also, her cat, Angus, fallsin love with the kitten Naomi from across the stree, and has to get his trouser snake removed, which Georgia doesn't agree with.
My favotirte part of this book is when Georgia goes to one of the Stiff Dylans conert anddances in front of Dom's dad because she thought he was a talent scout. This is also the first time Georgia gets mad at Robbie for blowing her off for wet Lindsey. Shortly after that, Georgia kisses Dave the Laugh. This is my favorite part because the author describes what happens, like Georgia's dancing so well that I feel lke I was there.
I deffinetely recommend this book, but mostly to girls because it's about girl sistuations and gossip. Also, if you have read other books in the Geogia Nicholson series I recommend reading this book "Knocked out by My Nunga-Nungas" has been my favorite book in the series yet! If you like girly, funny books, then this is the book for you. In conclusion, I really hope I persuaded you to read this great book full of hilariosity.
Tiresome.......2005-11-27
The first book was refreshing and funny, soured only by continous lesbian bashing. The second book was decidedly less so, and by this third installment, I am personally quite sick of listening to materialistic, shallow and self-centered Brit Georgia Nicholson whine about her parents, friends, and school. Even the subplot - Angus' courting of the neighbors' cat is so out of control Georgia's dad threatens to have him spayed - is not funny.
In Knocked Out, Georgia, having recently hooked up with an older Sex God, is abducted by her parents on a family vacation to Scotland, which she refers to as Och Aye land and insults with her usual brand of dramatic sarcasm. Upon her return, she cheats on her new boyfriend by snogging the guy she used as bait to make the first boyfriend jealous, and debates her decision to date a hot but unavailable older guy versus a funny available boy who obviously likes her IN SPITE of the fact she blatantly used him in the last book. When Dave the Laugh tells her she has to choose, she is in a quandary for all of a DAY before deciding she will find a way to have both. UGH. She is a thoroughly despicable character. Still, the Printz award stamp on book one and the fact that the prequels were popular will make this a likely choice for most libraries.

This is the third book in the series, and it is just as good as the others. :)

Georgia is back!!!! In this fabulous installment of the GN series Georgia must decide if she can fight off he red botomosity and resist Dave the Laugh (see book in series before this for info on Dave). Also in the book Georgia has to go to Scotland (Och Aye land) and some odd things happen there. Wonderfully funny and is the kind of book to read to cheer yourself up!!
Just As Good!.......2005-07-04
Fourteen year old Georgia is with Robbie again, but as soon as they get back together her family wants to go on a trip to Scotland, and she must go too. Towards the end is a bit of a suprise, a conflict with Robbie is staying with him right or not?

Fourteen-year-old Georgia Nicolson is back in British author Louise Rennison's irreverent, laugh-out-loud sequel to the Michael L. Printz Honor Book Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging. Written in diary form, these truly hilarious books chronicle the often minute-by-minute, very dramatic, and significant flip-flops of a teenager's psyche.

What tragedy has her so distraught? Her parents have told her she's moving to New Zealand just when she's managed to snog (kiss--look it up in the glossary) the SG (Sex God, a.k.a Robbie). This is of course not the only source of drama in Georgia's eventful life. Her half Scottish wildcat, Angus, who is the size of a small Labrador, herds the poodles next door and terrorizes the neighborhood. Her little sister, Libby, who is slightly mad, stores her "pooey knickers" and her scuba-diving Barbie doll in Georgia's bed. Her mother (from whom she inherited her orangutan eyebrow gene and possibly her "gigantic basoomas") is clearly inhabiting Earth solely to make her life miserable, and even her best friend Jas is "half girl, half turnip."
Despite the fact that she's spared from going to "Kiwi-a-gogo land," things don't get much better for Georgia. She's suspended for a childish prank right before her dad returns from New Zealand, she falls in love with the SG who dumps her for being too young, and Dave, the "red-herring" boyfriend she's using to make the SG jealous calls her a "heartless whatsit." And, she continues, "the spot on my bum is probably a boil. I wonder what Buddha would do now?" Rennison's comedic timing is brilliant. Adolescent angst ("I hope I am not driven to the brink of madness by grief") vanishes less than an hour later ("Angus can fetch sticks!!!") and sometimes even sooner. (Warning: Do not read this book while riding a train or bus unless you don't care what people think of intermittent explosive laughter. Seriously.) (Ages 12 and older) --Karin Snelson
Book Description
Georgia Nicolson has started dating the Sex God (aka Robbie). So life should be perfect . . . except in Georgia's life, nothing is ever perfect. Her cat, Angus (the size of a small Labrador), is terrorizing the neighborhood. Her sister, Libby (who is slightly mad), hides her pooey knickers at the bottom of Georgia's bed.
Then the Sex God breaks it off because she's too young. It's time for a plan. It's time for a Red Herring. It's time for Georgia to become a "heartless boy magnet!"

Commuting with Georgie.......2007-09-07
I loved it! I loved the fact that she is such a self absorbed teenager - the fact that her sister crawls into bed with all her toys including scuba diving Barbie - the fact that her legs go all gelloid - the fact that her friends are just like her - the fact that every adult has at least one fault - the fact that French toast means talking French while eating eggy toast, but best of all, the fact that I thought just like her when I was a teenager :-) The only bad part was laughing aloud when I was driving - and not wanting it to end when I pulled into my driveway.
On the Brightside, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God.......2007-06-13
How do you deal with the emotional rollercoaster of catching the Sex God, and then losing him? That's what the main character, Georgia Nicolson, has to try and get through. Georgia is a 14 year old girl living in England (in the present day). The book starts out with Georgia living out her perfect dream. She is he girlfriend of a SEX GOD. But soon, she loses him o her enemy, Wet Lindsey. In an effort to get him back, she starts dating one of the Sex God's friends, David the Laugh. Throughout the confusion of that she has to deal with her poodle attacking cat, her (married) mother flirting with Dr. "George Clooney", and some definitely air-headed friends.
This is my favorite book I have ever read. But, I do have a favorite part in particular. You have to understand though, I had been laid over in the Kansas City Airport for 6 hours and I was completely sleep deprived. Anyways, my favorite part is when Georgia described how her little sister was sitting on her lap and she "let off the smelliest, loudest fart known to humanity. It came out of her bum-oly with such force that she lifted off my knee. Like a hovercraft".
After reading this book, it is clear to see that the main idea of this book is just learning how to deal with growing up and moving past the obstacles that life throws at you. You have to make all the wrong choices to finally see why the good choice is the best choice.
I loved how the problems Georgia went through were not only hysterical, but could also be recognized by all. The only thing that I would change about the book would be the format. I don't really like the whole diary-entry format. I believe that girls between the ages of 11-17 should read this book. They would relate to the trials and triumphs of Georgia the best.
On the Bright Side, I'm now the Girlfriend of a Sex God:further confessions of Georgia Nicolson.......2007-04-25
On the Bright Side, I'm now the Girlfriend of a Sex God:further confessions of Georgia Nicolson is a book about a teenager named Georgia Nicolson. This book is her diary in which she writes exactly how she feels. Georgia has a rather large cat, Angus, a bestfriend who overly obsesses over her boyfriend Tom, and a Sex God (a.k.a Robbie Tom's older brother). All in all Georgia lives an exciting life which makes for a terrific book.
My favorite part of this book is when Georgia is running out to the field and she just lets everything go. She wasn't worrying about how her nose looked or who could see her. I loved this part because she was finally just being herself. Also, she didn't care about what people thought about her anymore.
I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a good laugh. However, if you're looking to read a little at a time I wouldnt read this book. This book is the kind of book that once you start reading you can't stop. It is a hilarious teenager reality and no one can go wrong by choosing this book.
Good Teen Lit.......2007-04-25
Pretty much the same basic premiss as _Angus_ but spanning a shorter period of time. I do like how the books aren't just about Georgia and her SG (that's sex god to the rest of us) but shows how she deals with her friends and her family. I still hope I wasn't like her when I was growing up though.
another fun bit of reading.......2007-04-25
Very enjoyable--picks up right after the first book, same problems are haunting our lovely heroine, Georgia: Robbie being difficult about her age, Jas being completely sucked into her boyfriend Tom, her parents being weird, her mad little sister and now Angus is love sick!
Too funny and too much fun--now if only the library would get the third one in so I could read it too. Still pretty tame language, etc. Suitable for a 14 year old (as that's hold old Georgia is) there is some teen related issues, but they are dealt with like a standard 14 year old--making fun of them.
Totally fun read.
Book Description
Georgia thought she had put her "red-bottomosity" to rest when she finally chose Robbie the Sex God over Dave the Laugh. Anyway, Dave the Laugh is now dating her friend Ellen (which didn't stop Georgia from snogging him at a party...)
But when Dave breaks up with Ellen and the Sex God is never around, Georgia doesn't know what to do! As always, in Georgia's life, nothing ever turns out as planned!

Georgia Nicolson is a blast!.......2007-07-22
Georgia Nicolson has become one of my favorite nutty characters. I love the books but this is not the best in the series. Yet it is hilarious, tremendously funny and it is impossible to have a bad day with the looney characters and crazy stories Louise Rennison brings to life. I am completely crazy about Angus, that wild and impossible cat.
Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants.......2007-05-23
Georgia is back aqain! This series is hilarious! In this book Georgia and Robbie are still together, but Robbie isn't around that much. He's on tour with his band, The Stiff Dylans, in Hamburger-a-go-go-land, a.k.a the United States. Georgia is stuck in Great Britain. Georgia's family is still totally embarrasing, but they are really funny. You should definitely read this book and the rest of the series. These books have something funny written on every page. I couldn't put it down!
Dancing In My Nuddy-Pants.......2006-11-01
I read the book Dancing In My Nuddy Pants, by Louise Rennison. This book is about a girl named Georgia Nicholson. She lives in England with her mom, dad, little sister Libby, and oddly large cat named Angus. This story is about the life of a normal teenage girl living in England.
There were many good parts in this book, but if I had to choose a favorite then I'd choose the time when she tripped "Elvis" with a wheelbarrow. Once Georgia was outside of "Elvis`" hut and she decided to pull a brutally mean joke on him. She placed a wheelbarrow outside of his hut and then she went to his window and screamed frantically like something was wrong. This caused "Elvis" too run out his door and trip over the wheelbarrow that Georgia put there, but Georgia got what she deserved and was suspended for a while.
I've read many books but Dancing In My Nuddy Pants was just a book that I could not put down. If you are seeking a hilarious book that you will love then I highly suggest reading this book. Georgia taught me things that I should never do, and so things that I should do. If this sounds interesting you might also want to read the first too, and then you can get this book to resume with the tale of Georgia Nicholson. But don't be sad when it's over because there are 7 books in this series.
Georgia is back.......2005-10-06
Georgia is back with another astonishing sequel, Dancing in My Nuddy Pants. You will not be disappointed in this hilarious come back. If you are in grades 7-9 you will love the humor of this self-absorbed teen. In this novel there aren't chapters there are diary entries. My favorite diary entire is the one that talks about the neighbor's cat getting pregnant. The neighbors came over and accused Georgia's cat. Georgia's dad is hilarious and says many hilarious things about it. This is a pretty good novel except for the fact that is very confusing. She is British and speaks some British in the book. It's pretty hard to understand but besides that it is a hilarious and very exciting book.
dancing naked?? funny.......2005-08-11
Again Georgia is back. She is still having trouble with her red bottom but she is learning to cope with it. She learns the way of the horn (how much you fancy someone) and decides she has the general horn for Dave the L. (so that explains why she keeps snogging him on accident J). She is still going out with Robbie though and later in the story to Georgia's dismay it is reviled that Robbie must go to Australia for a year L. I am so glad that there is a sequel to this story because this book leaves some questions unanswered.

Desperate for further, further confessions of the hilarious protagonist of Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging and On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God? You're in luck! Just in the nick of time, Georgia Nicolson is back, regaling her reading audience with the trials and tribulations of life as a British teen. Sure, Georgia is thrilled to still be the girlfriend of the Sex God. And yet, Dave the Laugh (her "red herring" ex-beau) isn't looking so bad himself these days. Meanwhile, as our heroine is updating her 1-to-10 snogging scale (6-1/4 is lip nibbling, otherwise known in Georgia-speak as "nip libbling"), her huge misbehaving cat, Angus, is on the verge of a trip to the vet to have his "chimney swept" in an effort to tone down his passion for the neighboring sex kitten, Naomi.
Louise Rennison's outrageously funny series, written in minute-by-minute diary form, perfectly captures the agonizing je ne sais quoi of adolescence in all its schizophrenic glory and comes complete with glossary for Georgia's oh-so-dim American chums. (Ages 12 and older) --Emilie Coulter

As I was going out of my bedroom door I remembered my nungas. Perhaps I should take some precautions to keep them under strict control. Maybe bits of Sellotape on the ends of them to keep them from doing anything alarming? I'd like to trust them, but they are very unreliable.
The irrepressible heroine of the Michael L. Printz Honor Book Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging is back, and funnier than ever! Georgia has finally landed Robbie the Sex God, but he's never around, and Georgia's ex, Dave the Laugh, is starting to look quite dreamy. Strangely, so does just about every other guy Georgia meets, even the new French teacher.
In this third installment of Georgia's hilarious confessions, Georgia's "red bottomosity" is out of control! Whatever will happen next?

SOOOOOO FUNNY!! .......2005-11-28
This book is so funny! It is absolutly as good as the first two, and not at all boring. Georgia may be self obsorbed and snotty and so on, but that is only part of her charm! If you are tired of depressing serious books that are very deep and meaningful read this. You will never get tired of it! Even after i've read it a zillian times it is still so funny. I laughed through basically the whole book. If you read it and think it is not as good as the other ones, fear not, the fourth is even better! It tkes so little time to read it is worth it even if you hate it. (The content is so not explicat)
Knocked Out By My Nunga Nungas is Awesome.......2005-10-05
This book was in mint condition and in other news rocked the socks off of all the other books I've read and let me tell you I am georgous but a bookworm majorly. I am going to read the whole series. Georgia is frisky, witty and funny +wild. (strangely very similar to her huge cat Angus)
Knocked out by her Humor!.......2004-06-07
I found this book hilarious! It was very well written and very understandable! I have read other reviews from her other books in the series from adults and they dont like it which is why i think that these books are mostly for teenagers. Adults tend to find Georgia rude and disgusting. They dont understand that the books are supposed to be fun and the rudeness is the funny part!
Awesome book!.......2004-05-29
I am a teen like georgia and i just love these books! they are so easy to relate to and are hilarious!!! georgia, along with her many, many thoughts, is crazy, straight-forward, and soo funny. I would recomend this to any other teen girl because i am almost positive they would love it too!
The Gradual Fall Continues ..........2004-05-19
Sadly 'Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas' was not only not as good as the first book in the series but not even the second.
Georgias time in Ouch Eye Land was borderline boring - where is that laugh a minuet humor? The story line with the parents is not nearly as interesting as in the past, same with Angus and Libby. Then we get to Jas - she has become highly annoying and stuck up, Im waiting for her and Tom to break up to bring her back to reality. "You have to let Jas rave on or you never get to talk about yourself" how many times have we heared Georgia say that?! And how many times have we un-caringly heared Jas go on? Too many thats for sure.
I did like the Dave The Laugh story line in this one, and most events that happened beyond P.70 were funny. I hope the fourth one doesnt continue the downwards spiral, I would hate to give a Louise Rennison book a 3/5.

I have finally trapped a Sex God. He is mine, miney, mine, mine. There is a song in my heart and do you know what it is? It is that well-known chart topper "Robbie, oh Robbie, I . . . er . . . Lobbie You!!! I Do I Do!!!"
Georgia Nicolson is now the girlfriend of the Sex God (aka Robbie), and everything should be perfect. But whether it's because her loony parents drag her off to Och Aye land (aka Scotland) or because she accidentally snogs old flame Dave the Laugh at a party, Georgia's life never turns out as planned!

Very entertaining book!.......2005-02-06
This book is a compilation that contains the third and fourth volumes of the best-selling Georgia Nicolson diaries. It contains "Knocked Out By My Nunga-nungas" and "Dancing In My Nuddy-pants." Both those books have Amazon average ratings of 4.5 stars, so that should give you an idea of how good this book is. Some reviewers rated the first compilation book (containing volumes 1 and 2 of the series) very low because they were confused and thought it contained new stories. I, for one, like the compilation because I didn't own any books from the series, and it's just more convenient to have one large book instead of two short ones. This book picks up seamlessly from where "On the Bright Side..." left off. The book is written in diary style, so it's very quick and easy to read. I love the British slang and the quirky expressions the title heroine, Georgia, and her friends use. They're fourteen and go to a strict religious school (Catholic, I think). Pretty much all they think and talk about is "snogging gorgey lads" (don't worry - most of the words you can figure out by context, and the author includes a British-to-American glossary). The rest of their time is spent thinking up new ways to make the boring school day a little less boring. The book makes Georgia seem self-centered, and she is, but it is her diary, after all. Whose diary wouldn't be self-centered? Plus, she's a teenager, and that's how teenagers act. Georgia's parents are a continuous source of embarrassment to her. Her cat, Angus, is part wild, and the little bits the author throws in about him are always amusing. As is Libby, Georgia's four year-old sister, who insists on sleeping in Georgia's bed, along with a half a dozen hard, pointy toys. In this compilation Georgia has finally landed her man, Robbie the Sex God, but she can't help thinking about Dave the Laugh. She even finds herself "accidentally" snogging him twice! I'm looking forward to the next volume in the series to see if Georgia matures a bit and realizes which boy is right for her. I recommend this book for girls over 12, especially Anglophiles.

This Books A Knock Out!.......2006-05-11
Knocked Out By My Nunga Nunga's is the third book in the Georgia Nicolson series. The book is dairy of a young 14 year-old girl in England. In it she talks about all the crazy adventures and obsesses over her boyfriend Robbie aka The Sex God. She also talks about normal teenage girl stuff like how insane her parents and Libby, her little sister, are. The most important thing in her life are friends that she also talks about quite often. When the book begins Georgia is in trouble and got suspended from her all girls school. This is something common for her and her friends. Personally I loved the book. The book is hilarious and since it's in England the words can make it funnier. It's also a good book for teenage girls because I think that we can relate to some of the things she does in the book. It makes you go "Wow! I thought I was the only one who thought that." It's also one of those books that your friends won't call you a book worm if you read it because they'll probably want to read it too! This book isn't only for girls, I know some boys who have read it too! This book and other books in the series are some of my favorite books I've ever read. The author Louise Rennison really knows how to connect with the reader.
While Not as Good as the Originals, Still Pleases All.......2003-07-26
Although this edition to the Georgia Nicolson is significantly slimmer and not quite as raw as the first two, it still manages to bring me laughing out loud. Sometimes in the book-store. I would recommend it to anyone.
this book is sooo funny.......2003-04-26

AB FAB.......2003-03-27
I love this series, and this book is great. I hope she's planning to write another one, but you never know, the end did have a wrapping up feeling about it, and I have to know what happens!
Didn't live up to it's potential!.......2002-12-24
I loved the other geaorgia books. I still do- I'm a life- devoted fan now, they got me talking british in ny. But this book had a more pointless plot. The beggining events were v. funny and the end left me wondering. But it was missing something. He life is still funny, but as a teenage girl myself, I find I can relate far too much to her hectic boy problems that take over her life. So it gets a bit tireing..
