Book Description
For the first time, the final two novels of Nora Roberts's breathtaking Chesapeake Bay saga are together in one volume, bringing "a welcome crescendo to the story-symphony that is the family Quinn in all its boisterous, loving resonance" (BookPage).
Includes the novels
Inner Harbor
Phillip Quinn has done everything to make his life seem perfect. With his career on the fast track and a condo overlooking the Inner Harbor, his life on the street is firmly in the past. But one look at Seth and he's reminded of the boy he once was.
Chesapeake Blue
Now a grown man returning from Europe as a successful painter, Seth Quinn is settling down on Maryland's Eastern Shore, surrounded once again by Cam, Ethan, and Phil, their wives and children, all the blessed chaos of the extended Quinn clan. Finally, he's back in the little blue-and-white house where there's always a boat at the dock, a rocker on the porch, and a dog in the yard. Still, a lot has changed in St. Christopher since he's been gone-and the most intriguing change of all is the presence of Dru Whitcomb Banks.

QUINN BOOKS.......2007-07-27
The books arrived very quickly and were in great condition, great stories as usual by Nora Roberts. Thanks for making it easy for me to get them.
A Family Affair.......2006-07-22
I read the second installment on the new printouts that Nora has published (4 Quinn novels - 2 in each book) and I have to say Phillip and Seth's story were every bit as good, if not better, than the first half - The Quinn Brothers - Cameron and Ethan. The first novel, "Inner Harbor" takes us through the continuing saga of three lost boys taken in by Ray and Stella Quinn. This is Phillip's story and it centers around Sybill Griffin (Seth's aunt) however, no one knows that on the onset. Sybill has come to St. Chris to check on her sister's (Gloria De Lauter) son, Seth and see if he is being properly taken care of (according to Gloria, he's been kidnapped by the Quinns)! Gloria has a long history of storytelling and Sybill decides it is in the boy's best interest to see for herself. Through it all, she meets up with the Quinns and starts to develop a relationship w/Phillip. Once Phillip finds out who she is, he is annoyed, to say the least, and determined to sever all ties, however, he is drawn to this lady and her to him and that is where the romance comes in along with the struggle to hold onto Seth. Gloria is determined to make trouble for the Quinns and the question is, how long will it take Sybill to come to terms with the fact that her sister is truly a woman with very serious problems, both mentally and physically. The second novel in the book, "Chesapeake Blue," tells Seth's story. The story begins 18 years later with Seth just coming back to St. Chris from Italy, a world-renowned artist. Seth meets the new girl in town, Druscilla (Dru) Whitcomb Banks, the product of a very well-to-do family, escaping her own prior life for the peace and quiet of a coastal small town and a chance to make it on her own with her flower shop. The romance is centered on Dru and Seth now but the conflict still lies with the unresolved matter of Seth's mother, Gloria who is determined, at any cost, to squeeze every penny out of the Quinns and her son to "get her fair share." "The Quinn Legacy" is a wonderful culmination to the story of the 4 brothers, Cam, Ethan, Phillip and Seth and the development of their families. The description of St. Christopher and the local shops and people is an added treat.
Chesapeake hunks in new clothing.......2006-05-09
Who doesn't love the fabulous, sexy, family-oriented Quinns? Hot as hell, a little dangerous, and still devoted to family. The only question is, where can I find Seth Quinn in flesh-and-blood. I love the new trade paper formats being used for reissues of Nora's trilogies--not only do I end up with more room on my shelves for future Nora books, but I can replace my old, well-loved mass markets without feeling guilty and reread the new editions to revisit my favorite Nora stories and characters. All hail Nora, goddess amongst romance authors!

I loved the characters, but..........2000-11-17
I have been reading this series since the very first. I stumbled on this book long after I had thought the series had come to a close. (I understand that the previous one was very good, but I have been unable to run across one in my local bookstores, so I have it on order here.) Anyway, I was quite taken with the character of Rhianne, but I found the plotline itself to be rather lack luster. It was missing some of the energy of the previous books and it forced some rather out of character actions onto the herouine.
I found one particular group of scenes so difficult to track that I would almost say that the author rewrote it several times and included every version. Others seemed as if they were copied and pasted in several times. Too much descriptive vocabulary was copied from one scene to the next.
In short, I would have preferred to see Rhianne's character transplanted into an entirely different story. She had such a strength of character in the beginning. I felt that her author had failed her by placing her in a story which had such obvious weaknesses.
great book.......2000-10-03
first,i would have rated this book a 5 star just because it had my favorite characters, meg and connor.it was heartwretching when connor was dying. all i could think of was how could meg live without him.(and me for that matter)they had such a wonderful story in dawn of camelot.meg gave up almost all of her powers to be with connor(a mortal)the love they shared was my alltime favorite story.
this book was about the daughter they had to give up so she could be safe.and the hero, quinton, was also from ddawn of camelot.meg and connor were like the parents he lost when he was younger.meg sends quinton to find theyre daughter since shes no longer safe.he finds her dressed like a boy and brings her back home.she has no memory of her parents.it is heartbraking to hear about connor(her fathers )being on his deathbed.although she finally gets too know him before he dies.
quinton and meg go on to fight the darkness.it was a great story especially since there was so many of my favorite characters back from the dawn of camelot.a great book, enjoy
Good but a little less than the others........1999-09-19
I've read all the books in the series. If Meg saved Merlin from the evil one's wasting sickness in a previous book, then why couldn't Connor be saved from the same? I also have to say that I felt like the ending was too simple.

The origin of the Phantom as you've never seen it before - as told by the Ghost Who Walks himself! Ripped from the pages of the very first Chronicle, this original 96-page epic reveals how a centuries-old tradition of fighting piracy, cruelty and injustice was passed down from one generation of Walker to the next. The legacy of the Phantom!

False Legacy.......2007-02-12
I have to warn Phantom fans away from this one. Raab's writing is tedious and wearing. In order to mimic old English writing, he simply went for awkward syntax that made reading this poorly conceived tale a true chore. Raab also re-writes the true origin of the Phantom so that the Phantom does not create any of his signature icons himself, but simply flounders into a ready made situation. This is a truly forgettable effort...hopefully.
An interesting surprise.......2006-05-20
I'll admit I was a bit disappointed when I opened THE PHANTOM: LEGACY and found that it was not a standard comic, but rather a short story with accompanying illustrations. I had been hoping for something more in the form of the early Lee Falk strips, in this case telling the origin of the first Phantom. After settling into the story, my disappointment was relieved - THE PHANTOM: LEGACY is a neat little story, and definitely worth the time of any Phantom fan. What's more, the creators get kudos for their presentation of the material. Writer Ben Raab gives us a story that is modeled after the adventure tales of Daniel Defoe, Robert Louis Stevenson, or even Edgar Rice Burroughs. The text is in a longhand font that looks as if it were written with a quill pen. Artists Pat Quinn and Art Lyon Provide full and half-page ink illustrations that resemble woodcuts. This is all printed on a background that resembles aged paper, with the occasional blotches, marks, and fingerprints that would be expected on a document from the 16th century. It definitely adds a touch of realism to the story of Christopher Standish, aka "Kit Walker", and his transformation from a shipwrecked youth in Africa to the legendary Ghost Who Walks.
A Rip Off........2006-05-17
To say that I was disapointed with this book, would be a major understatement. If I had not ordered the book ahead of time, I would have left it at the store. It's attrocious. First of all be warned, it's not a graphic novel (ie.an extended story with sequential art). It's more of a large formated novel with pictures. And not very nice pictures. And the font is very hard to read.
And the writing, never mind the fact that Raab is a lousy writer. The writing is in some pseudo 16th century literature (heck I don't even think it goes back that far) that's almost indecipherable. Here's a sample:
'Pon the docks was I reared. In the shadow of the merchant ships. Their tall sails a'billowing in the breeze, do I count among my earliest recollections. Oh the majesty! O the mystery! Oh, what strange and exhilarating sights their gallant crowns must have beheld! Oh what grand adventures!'
And that's how the rest of the 96 page book reads.
Unless you're a Phatom Phreak and want it for your collection. I wouldn't shell out money on this.

A Wonderful Addition To A Great Series!.......2002-11-06
This is the second book in the Merlin's Legacy and it is a great addition to this series. This is the story about Merlin's daughter Brianna. She is the daughter of the Mist and she has a challange ahead of her that will change her life.
Tarek al Sharif is bastard born and does not have the memory of family and love but he is driven by the memory of a golden haired girl that helped him and saved his life. He has loved her from the first moment that he saw her and he plans on finding her again.
The path to true love is not a smooth one for these two characters. There is danger in the form of a person that wants control of Inverness and of course "the darkness" is always on the fringes looking in and waiting for the perfect time to cause trouble. Tarek must choose between the love for his changeling bride or avenging his past. The chemisty between the two main characters is great. They don't just fall into bed and thats the end. Their love grows and I feel that is why most people red romance. This book has it all mystical legends, and romance. This is a not to be missed story. It is well worth your effort and time to get a hold of a copy!
The Second in the series is even better!!.......2002-01-29
Book 2 -Brianna of Scotland, second daughter of Merlin, is a changling who has powers to transform into the creatures of the forest. And only one man can set her free. The bastard son of a Byzantine aristocrat and a Norse sea Captain, Tarek al Sharif, he has come to Scotland to claim lands promised him by William the Conqueror. In order to claim Brianna he must chose between avenging the past and fighting for the future against the dark evil that want to claim the land.
Stunning and for all fans of Camelot!!
Quinn Taylor Evans Merlins Legacy the Series Books 1-6.......2001-10-15
Quinn Taylor Evans is a wonderful author and she brings the story to life; you are there with them, you are part of them. If at all possible read each book in a row they will overlap into one another and you will travel back in time and you will not be sorry.
"Mist"-ifying!.......2001-01-02
Brianna is introduced as a fragile creature and for all intents and purposes she is. But beneath that fragile exterior is a very strong woman. And fortunately she meets, in Tarek, a man who understands strength and her unique gifts. He falls in love with a glimpse of a woman he barely has time to speak to, and arranges things so he has to go all the way back to Scotland, supposedly on a mission for the king, but really to find Her. And find her he does, and claims her for his own.
This book is not a formulaic copy of the first. The characters are their own people with their own minds and their own destinies. I was very happy to finally meet Brianna and enjoyed watching her and Tarek get closer. It is yet another fabulous love story! I'm looking forward to the next sister's story.
Extremly Enchanting.......2000-12-22
Of all the books I have read I have also found this one the best that I have ever read. I extremly enjoy Brianna's character. Even with all the tradgey that she goes through she finds the courage to stand up for her people and for herself. She hides her feelings and shows how storng she is and that she really doesn't need anyone or at least that is the way she acts. But unfortunately she really needs a strong man to set her free. All I have to say is that if you are thinking of buying this book, buy it, it is definatally worth it.

This is the third story in the Merlin's Legacy series and I must say it just keeps getting better and better.
This is the story of Stephen of Valois and Cassandra the third daughter of Magician Merlin. The quest for beating the Darkness has now fallen to these two very strong people. This story has it all romance, history, and magic. Characters from previous books make an appereance and help guide the story plus there are some new friends. If you have been reading the series you don't want to miss this one. If this series is new to you you are in for a treat.

I Loved This Book.......2002-10-09
I loved this book! Full of history, romance, and the mystical legend of Merlin made for a page turning romance.
The story between Vivian the daughter of Fire and Rorke FitzWarren knight to William Duke of Normandy is touching and has managed to become one of my favorite stories! Vivian is the daughter of Merlin and she finds herself in the middle between the Norman's and the defeated Saxon's. Rorke is sent to find the healer with amazing powers and brings Vivian back to the battlefield to take care of William. Rorke finds more then just a healer of the physical self but a healer of the heart and soul. This story takes place right after the battle of Hastings and is full of historical detail but not so much that you feel that it is a history lesson. The story is touching and I found myself laughing and crying which in my opinion is always a sign of a GREAT book! I look forward to the rest of this series to make it to my mail box!

Truan's Story Book Four In The Series!.......2003-01-26
I liked this book very much! This is Truan's story. We met him in book four and now he has is own story. Truan is the son of Merlin and he feels that there is no way he can love due to the fact that he is half mortal.
Amber (we met her in previous books as well) has suffered greatly and is unable to speak. She is drawn to Traun the 'fool' and jokster. Truan despite his best attempts also finds himself drawn to the the silent beauty. The darkness manages to get a hold of Amber and takes her back to the time of Aruthr. When Camelot was more then just a legend! Here Amber is able to speak and laugh and finds herself with no memory of Truan but is drawn to him just the same. The battle of good and evil is fought yet again in this magical place and love blooms for both Truan and Amber.
This was a great read and worthy of being part of the this romantic series.
Another Great Merlin-based Fantasy Romance!.......2003-01-01
GREAT STORY ABOUT MERLIN'S CHILDREN. GO AND BUY THIS BOOK!
HELLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!.......2002-09-26
Warning, warning, this is a (gulp) romance novel. I have in the past vowed never never to read a romance novel. As a retired history teacher and an author and a student of Arthurian legend I picked up the first in the series and was hooked. The historical context is excellent. Then by the second one I realized that the love scenes were pretty much the same thing over and over. (The cover pictures should have alerted me.) By the third I began to skip the sex scenes and go for the story. Hey, I'm a happily married man with children and grandchildren. I know obviously many people go for this sort of thing as bookshelves are full of them. I promise I am not a snob nor am I knocking those who want this sort of thing. But seriously Ms. Evans you have the talent to write interesting, entertaining best sellers by sticking to story development. Our imagination can fill in the rest. I'm of the generation when you could see two lovers, a bed, and then just a curtain blowing in the breeze with musical background and know all that was going on. I give this book five stars for a historical novel that could have been the best and only one for the bosom heaving scenes. That unfortunately is an average of three. As I used to write on some student papers, "C, You can do much better work than this. I have faith in you."
The stunning series continues!!.......2002-01-29
Book 4 - Truan of Monroe was raised as an orphan on the Isle in the Irish Sea, a deadly warrior and a sorcerer of great powers. Also, the son of Merlin, he must pass through a doorway, back in time to the days of Camelot, where Merlin has been banished for all time. Amber follows him, unwilling to lose him, standing at Truan side as he finishes the battle with Malagraine.
Quinn Taylor Evan is a must!!
EXCELLENT SERIES.......2000-09-29
THIS SERIES"MERLINS LEGACY"HAD ME HOOKED FROM THE 1ST PAGE IN BOOK 1.YOU FELT LIKE YOU WERE RIGHT ALONG WITH THE CHARACTERS ,THE DESCRIPTIONS WERE SO REAL.I LIKED THE FACT THAT THE FIGHT AGAINST THE DARKNESS DIDNT OVERSHADOW THE ROMANCE.IT WAS ONLY AT THE END OF THE BOOK THAT THE DARKNESS BATTLED THE LIGHTT.
AMBER AND TRUAN WERE GREAT CHARACTERS.YES,AMBER WASNT AS TOUGH AS VIVIAN AND CASSANDRA BUT IF THEY ALL ACTED THE SAME THE BOOKS WOULDNT HAVE BEEN THAT GOOD.AMBER WENT THROUGH A HORIFIC ORDEAL SO SHE HID IN HERSELF.SHE COULDNT SPEAK AFTER WHAT SHE SEEN HAPPEN TO HER FAMILY.I LIKED THAT TRUAN WAS ALWAYS JOKING AROUND.I LOVED HIM IN BOOOK 3.IME GLAD HIM AND AMBER GOT THEIR OWN STORY.AND IT WAS GREAT THAT TRUAN TURNED OUT TO BE MERLINS SECRET SON.I CANT WAAIT UNTIL THE NEXT BOOK ABOUT MEG.
THIS IS DEFINATELY A SERIES THAT WOULD BE A KEEPER.ONE OF THE ONES THAT YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT EVERY SO OFTEN TO REREAD.ENJOY!!!1

Terrific book that leaves you frantic for more........1999-10-13
Terrific, great, wonderful. If you can't get enough of the Merlin and Arthur legends this is a must read series and this is the best book to read. Action, adventure and real romance, with a little magic in the mix. This book and her sisters are REAL magic!!!!!
Not enough, not nearly enough.......1999-07-04
This is one of the best books I have ever read. and I have read it 3 times so far. I have read all 6 books and liked them all, but the Meg book tore my heart out and made me cry. It is the story of Meg, Merlin's sister and takes place at the time Arthur returns to Britain to claim the throne. It takes place before Arthur meets Guinevere and he only gets Excalibur at the end of the book. Meg is immortal and wants to experience Mortality as a lark. Instead she falls in love with Connor, Arthur's childhood best friend, who has lost everything he ever loved. He has lost his family, his home, everything. He has been captured, tortured and left for dead and then he meets Meg who has taken the shape of a deer and gets shot by Connor in the shoulder. She is soooo hurt that she cannot use her powers and is taken to Merlin to be cured. She puts a protective spell on herself so Merlin won't know she is his sister. It is delightful to read how the author has her learn about mortality and all that goes with it. The smell of people, how to walk, talk, eat, smell, touch, kiss, feel passion, love, laughter and finds out that it is not enough, not nearly enough. She wants to stay in the mortal world and marry Connor and have his children but knows that it can never be as she is just an illusion and immortal and Connor is mortal. The other part of the plot is that Arthur must be kept alive to rule Britain. This is Merlin's responsibility and Meg is able to help by transforming into a warrior and helps in the fighting battles, finally it is up to her to battle the darkness of the world to save humanity. If she is killed while she is a mortal, she will truly die. I cried right along with Connor all day and all night after that final battle. I won't give away the end but I think I will read this book again starting tonite. I have already told the whole book to my manacurist. She and the rest of the shop listened with baited breath and cried as I cried when I told them the end. Thanks for writing this book. I am anxiously awaiting the dragon one. Sincerely, Barbara Alvord
This was a wonderful book............1999-06-16
In this book we learn all about Megs life, how she became blind and the love of her life Conner.
In the beginning we follow Vivian as she goes to morn the loss of Meg, Merlin joins her and tells the story of how Meg left Avalon for adventure only to find more.
Upon entering the mortal world she is shot by Conner and almost dies. She recovers and soon gets to meet Author of Camalot and then Merlin the brother that she has only heard of but never seen. Here begins the fun.. Meg joins the fight with Conner, Author, and Merlin against the evil that has tried to take over Britian. Meg proves to be a powerful but hidden allie against the darkness. All the while tring to hide the secret of her true identity from her brother for fear that he will send her back through the portal. Things begin to get worse when Merlin become mysteriously ill and can not cure himself. Now Meg must choose between the freedom and love that she is just beginning to find with Conner or to let Merlin know the truth about who she really is and risk being forced to go back though the portal......
This is really a good book, Meg is a wonderful character strong and gentle at the sametime. Take time to read this book you won't regret it. But it is best if you read the ones before this to get a true feel of who Meg really is.
