Book Description
Hollywood homicide detective Petra Connor has helped psychologist Alex Delaware crack tough cases in the past. And in Jonathan Kellerman’s New York Times bestseller Billy Straight she took the lead in the desperate hunt for a teenage runaway stalked by a vengeful murderer. Now the complex and wryly compassionate Petra is once again at the center of the action, in a novel of cunning twists and page-turning suspense.
Lifeless bodies sprawl in a dance-club parking lot after a brutal L.A. drive-by. Of the four seemingly random victims, one stands out: a girl with pink shoes who cannot be identified–and who, days later, remains a Jane Doe. With zero leads and no apparent motive, it’s another case destined for the cold file–until Petra decides to follow her instincts and descends into a world of traveling grifters and bloodthirsty killers, pursuing a possible eyewitness whose life is in mortal danger.
Finding her elusive quarry–alive–isn’t all Petra has on her plate: departmental politics threatens to sabotage her case, and her personal life isn’t doing much better. If all that wasn’t enough, Isaac Gomez, a whiz-kid grad student researching homicide statistics at the station house, is convinced he’s stumbled upon a bizarre connection between several unsolved murders. The victims had nothing in common, yet each died by the same method, on the same date–a date that’s rapidly approaching again. And that leaves Petra with little time to unravel the twisted logic of a cunning predator who’s evaded detection for years–and whose terrible hour is once more at hand.
“Why is it so hard to put down a Kellerman thriller?” asks Publishers Weekly. “It’s simple: the nonstop action leaves you breathless; the plot twists keep you guessing; the themes . . . are provocative.” Those in need of still further proof that “Kellerman has shaped the psychological mystery novel into an art form” (Los Angeles Times Book Review) need look no further than Twisted.

A Murderous Twofer.......2007-01-06
Petra Connor again stars in TWISTED, after BILLY STRAIGHT and a bit part in an Alex Delaware novel, A COLD HEART. She's an interesting character with enough emotional depth and history to draw most readers in. The ensemble cast backing her, including her love interest and a 22-year-old genius that loves working in the murder field, offer a lot of possibilities too. Although the abridged book is a good listen, read by Lindsay Crouse, the emphasis seems to be more on Petra's person life than either of the two murders she's investigating. TWISTED misses the mark on presenting a thrilling whodunit.
Jonathan Kellerman is the bestselling writer of the Alex Delaware novels featuring a child psychologist who consults for the Los Angeles Police Department. He and his bestelling wife Faye have started writing together, and their son Jesse is a rising star in the novel trade.
TWISTED has two mysteries going at one time. Petra is called to the scene of a mass shooting and struggles to put the pieces together as to who the unidentified girl was and why she was killed. In the meantime, her brilliant understudy, a 22-year-old college professor named Isaac Gomez, comes to her with what he believes is a serial killer who's been striking every June 28th. The book takes place in the month of June, so another killing -- if Gomez is correct, and he is -- is right around the corner. The novel's strengths are in the showcasing of Petra and Gomez's personal lives outside of the murder investigation.
However, the novel's weaknesses are the lack of pursuit, to a degree, of the murders. While Petra puts together a fairly good case against the mass murderer who killed the teenagers, the serial killer case seems to come together more as luck and out of left field. There was no opportunity to match wits with the author because you don't get to see all the cards.
Lindsay Crouse reads the audiobook and does a fabulous job of keeping the pacing and the narrative tension in play. She's a reader I'll definitely be looking for more from.
TWISTED will satisfy Kellerman fans, but isn't the best place new readers can discover this author. It would probably be better to read BILLY STRAIGHT or A COLD HEART first. That way you'll see and understand more of Petra's history by the time you pick up TWISTED.
Sloggish, Boring, and trite.......2006-12-19
Not a very good book on any level. Not horrific, but overall really lame. A whodunit that you could never predict, because there was nothing to predict. It's like the author wrote the book and then when it came time to publish it, chose a character at random that 'did it' and wrote the last 10 pages. So save yourself some time, read the last few pages and make up your own adventure.
Where did the villain come from??.......2006-11-20
Am I the only one who read this book?? The Killer's identity is revealed only in the last 20 pages or so. There were no clues prior to that as to his identity, except for the existence of a chat room - out of left field. And why didn't the librarian get more credit in the end in solving the crime? Also, there was no connection between the drive-by murders and the serial killings. What a long book to slog through, for such a disappointing ending!!
twisted patterns.......2006-09-25
From reading mysteries, I gather that some serial killers are caught because they unconsciously fall into habits; once someone cracks the pattern, the bad guy goes down.
Kellerman is a superb author. Even the minor characters are alive and believable. The stories are well constructed, the writing is excellent. But for the second K novel in a row, I have spotted the bad guy the moment he appears. I have surprised myself. It seems that Kellerman introduces the bad guy at about the same place in the novel, and they dress similarly. Interesting.
Twisted moves right along at a fast pace. Once you start, you won't want to put it down. See if you spot whodunit. Is Kellerman becoming a creature of habit too?
Thoroughly enjoyable........2006-07-16
This novel features Detective Petra Connor, previously featured in several Alex Delaware novels as well as another of her own called Billy Straight. I like her - she's cute, she's talented, she's tough ... She can't have children, though, and she's always whining about it. I just want to tell her: So you're sterile - get over it! You're young, you can adopt, it's not the end of the world! She also thinks about Detective Milo Sturgis a lot - he's the main detective in the Alex Delaware novels and Petra has worked with him a few times. As often as she mentions him, though, it's obvious she has a crush on him. And why not? He's tough, fair, charming - safe as only a gay guy can be.
Anyway, in this one, Petra's partner, Eric Stahl (who we first met in the Alex Delaware novel Cold Heart) is now her lover and is training in anti-terrorist tactics in Jerusalem (where he meets Detective Daniel Sharavi, star of his own novel The Butcher's Theatre and with whom Petra worked in Survival of the Fittest) I like Eric - he's weird, he's cool and I hope the author keeps him around. Oh, and there is a cameo appearance by Santa Fe Detectives Darrel Two Moons and Steven Katz from the book Double Homicide. Maybe I'm weird, but I like crossovers, so that was fun.
So, with Eric gone, Petra is working alone again - this time on a drive-by shooting that killed four young teens in front of a theatre. Plus a boy-genius arrives as an intern and she is assigned baby sitting duty. Isaac really is pretty sharp, though, and he discovers an annual serial killing pattern, which sets him and Petra off on an unsanctioned investigation that takes on more and more urgency as the fatal date draws nearer. So, it's a race against time and requires a certain bucking of the system since, for some unknown reason, Petra's Captain doesn't like her - he thinks she is some sort of prima donna, I don't know. So, there's lots of tension, some angst, some steamy sex (Yeah, Eric returns), plus a few surprises along the way and it kept me turning the pages, so what more can a reader ask for?
Isaac is such a cute character - he provides much of the comic relief in this one. He sets everything in motion with his discovery, but then we are entertained by his less than stellar love life and his involvement in the climax is just hilarious. I have to wonder how much of himself the author put into Isaac.

William Monk, the unquestionably handsome, somewhat vain, but genuinely tenderhearted "agent of enquiry" is back on the streets of Victorian London, investigating his 10th case, a missing woman. Miriam Gardiner was due to be betrothed to a much younger man, a well-to-do gentleman named Lucius Stourbridge. But during a family croquet party, the bride-to-be vanished, apparently fleeing in a coach driven by a family servant named Treadwell. Monk would normally be reluctant to get involved in a simple case of pre-wedding jitters, but his own recent marriage to the headstrong nurse Hester Latterly gives him a newfound empathy for the heartbroken Lucius. Of course, as always in Perry's historical mysteries, all is not quite as it seems. Treadwell is found murdered, and the missing Miriam becomes the number-one suspect. Monk is convinced that she "could and would do no intentional evil," even as Hester connects her to another illicit crime. Eventually unearthed by London's finest, Miriam is arrested and charged with murder, and it's up to barrister Oliver Rathbone to absolve her in court (with a little help from his good friends William and Hester Monk).
With a plot twist around every corner, Anne Perry knows just how to keep us in suspense, right up to the exceedingly dramatic finale. The Twisted Root is a luminous whodunit from the queen of Victorian mystery. --Naomi Gesinger
Book Description
A young groom enlists private investigator William Monk to track down his fiancée, Miriam Gardiner, who disappeared suddenly from a party at a luxurious Bayswater mansion. But Monk soon finds the coach in which Miriam fled and, nearby, the murdered body of the coachman. There is no trace of Miriam. What strange compulsion could have driven the beautiful widow to abandon the prospect of a loving marriage and financial abundance? Monk and clever nurse Hester Latterly, themselves now newlyweds, desperately pursue the elusive truth--and an unknown killer whose malign brilliance they have scarcely begun to fathom. . . .

Plausible complexity with historical subtext.......2007-01-09
This review is for the Ballantine Books hardcover first edition, October 1999, 346 pages. THE TWISTED ROOT was on the USA Today top 150 best seller list for seven weeks in September and October 2000, reaching a peak position of forty. By the end of 2006, Ms. Perry had 23 novels on the USA Today list.
This is a splendid novel set in London in midsummer 1860. It begins with the abrupt departure and disappearance of Miriam Gardiner, a commoner, from a garden party celebrating her betrothal to Lucius Stourbridge, a younger man of considerable means. Lucius hires William Monk, an agent of inquiry, to find his fiancée. With the particulars of this mystery launched, the story switches to Monk's recent bride, Hester, who is a volunteer nurse at the North London Hospital, which has a mystery of its own - medicines are disappearing. These two plots will intertwine.
Within this historical setting, the author crystallizes progress in the past hundred and fifty years. I cringed at the subservient role of women in general back then, and the pitiful concept of the nursing profession in particular. Within this context, the author portrays determined efforts of strong minded women struggling without much wiggle room. However, to do this, there is excessive narration of the character's internal thoughts, the nuances of them, sometimes convoluted. If these were related through dialogue and body language, the read would be livelier.
Masterful plotting drives this story. Around page 204, the culprit narrows to one of two characters; an experienced mystery reader would know which one. But why? Later, the author, instead of adding some implausible twist, explicitly eliminates cute surprises and gives the reader subtle clues, which keeps you turning pages, trying to figure the TWISTED relationships of secrets within secrets. This is edge of your seat plausible complexity with historical subtext.
My first and perhaps last Anne Perry read.......2006-07-24
This was the first time I've read Perry's novels, and at first, the story and characters delighted me. But soon, plot twists and characters started to fog up the story. There were too many side characters who didn't propel the story, too many POV switches ("head hopping"), and too many asides about the Crimean war. The story meandered along, moving slowly through the clues and testimonials of each character, and then screeched quickly to a halt with a barrage of new evidence and a story line that seemed contrived and strange. The main characters seem to be Hester and Monk, but then at the end, the story ends with no discussion by them, no reflection on the turn of events. I was left wondering what the point of the story was. While Perry has a fine grasp on Victorian times, I learned more about what not to do as a writer than anything else. Perhaps there are better William Monk novels out there...if this was the best, I'd steer clear of the whole series.
a surprise ending with a unbelievable twist.......2006-07-13
This is the first book of Anne Perry's that ive read and i am sure it wont be the last. This book is fantastic. This book grabs your attention and wont let u put it down untill the very last page. The ending is such a twist and shocker that u would never guess the killer. I recommend The Twisted Root to anyone who is looking to read a "not-put-downable" mystery that will grab u until the last page. A must read and great book. Anne Perry is great!
Another excellent examination of Victorian morality.......2006-01-31
The newly married Mr. Mrs. Monk become embroiled in a nicely complex mystery, steeped in Victorian morality. a missing bride-to-be, a nurse taking her belief in healing outside of the confines of her hospital's notions of what constitutes proper medical care, and the struggle of Perry's newlyweds adjusting to their new lives together combine to create an intriguing and thought provoking adventure. Perry's ability to capture the time period is exceptional; she not only creates a proper setting but her presentation of Victorian morality, particularly in the medical establishment's attitude toward the nursing profession, is exceptional. It serves as an interesting history lesson as well as and good mystery.
While the mystery itself is sufficiently complex to interest a reader, the ending is a bit rushed after the long set-up. But all in all, this was a good read and a nice addition to Perry's series.
Incredible imagination.......2003-05-10
Excellent story, at first when Monk found Miriam and she told him that she is innocent, but she can't tell anything because nobody will believe her and because is better if she die that telling the true, I thought that the book doesn`t worth it, but I kept reading because the book keeps you interested in the story, so I said: "OK, I am sure that at the end I will regret to finish the book but I will."
When you get to the end of the book, you will see that Miriam was right, she will be better dead that telling everybody the truth of what she saw in Lucius house, I don`t know if this story could happen to a woman, but I wish not.
Book Description
In Cornwall in 1815, Demelza sees a horseman riding down the valley and senses disruption to the domestic contentment she has fought so hard to achieve. Ross has little option but to accept the summons—and travel to Paris with his family, as an "observer" of the French armed forces. Parisian life begins well, but the return of Napoleon brings separation, distrust, and danger to the Poldarks—and always for Demelza there is the shadow of the secret she does not even share with Ross.
Customer Reviews:
1815.......2006-10-24
The eleventh Poldark novel takes place entirely within the tumultuous year of 1815, and while not all of it concerns war, the conflict on the continent is certainly central to the telling of the tale in this penultimate book in the series. While the apparent surrender of Bonaparte is celebrated across Europe, the French tyrant plots to break his word and return from exile on the island of Elba. Unaware of the imminent re-appearance of this foe, the Poldarks, like their countrymen, mark the coming of peace with parties and gladness of heart. Geoffrey Charles reflects on his years in the army and speaks of his pride in having seen the war through to its conclusion. Even Jeremy, stationed across in the Low Countries, returns home to Cornwall and at last is married to his great love, Cuby Trevanion. Ross and Demelza are overjoyed for their son and wish him and his bride the deepest of happiness. All seems too well, and it does not last, of course. As England rejoices, Bonaparte sneaks back into France and reignites his adopted nation in vicious anti-British militancy. At the head of an army bent on revenge, he marches north, and now the English scramble to again field a force to meet him. The newlywed Jeremy abruptly leaves a shocked Cuby behind, and is accompanied to the front lines by his veteran cousin Geoffrey Charles, as they begin a hasty journey toward destiny at a Belgian town called Waterloo.

TWISTED TALES.......2006-11-05
A GOOD MIX OF TALES. YOU NEVER KNEW WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE END. VERY ENJOYABLE. AS A HORROR FAN I AM VERY PLEASED TO READ GOOD HORROR FROM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN PERSPECTIVE.
I Like.......2006-08-02
I love to read sci-fi, and recently I've been trying to open up my doors to new authors. I was at Wal-Mart when I came across Twisted Tales by Brandon Massey. I was skeptical at first but upon reading halfway through the book I was in love. I do believe he should have started the novel with a stronger Story because Daddy's Little Girl wasn't enough to make me want to read more. I can't abondon a book, and in this case I'm glad that I didn't. It was a good bood and Brandon is Awesome. So, people, if you are planning to purchase this novel PLEASE DO! It is well worth the money! And the stories get nothing but better throughout the book. I love Brandon and cannot wait to read The Other Brother.
Fears, Fearful, and Fearless.......2006-07-26
As a child, sometimes I was scared of the dark, and I even remember wondering what was actually hiding under my bed. We have all had some kind of fear, whether it was rational or not. In TWISTED TALES Brandon Massey explores many common fears and puts them into stories that play up our uncertainties but gives the hero or heroine the strength to conquer them or in some cases get what they deserve, which may be horrific.
The fourteen short stories deal with themes such as the fear of insects and snakes, the loss of a loved one, being stranded on a long dark highway, as well as horrors such as werewolves and monsters and even the fear of a sexual predator. Each of the tales stokes the fires of our deepest fears in order to give an element of believability, make your heart beat fast and have you looking over your shoulder every once in a while.
I personally enjoyed "The Secret Door," which was about a young man who recently lost his mother and was living with his scumbag stepfather. He finds a door that leads to the unknown at his job, but what he discovers is his strength to eliminate what has started to destroy his dreams. In "Predators," we meet a young woman who puts a hurting on a man who has preyed on females for far too long. In "The Woman Next Door," readers are reminded to be careful what we covet. I enjoyed how Massey dealt with the question of faith in "Flight 463" and the strength he gave his female heroine in "The Last Train Home."
TWISTED TALES is a quick and thoughtful read. Massey's notes at the end of the book explain to readers why he wrote each piece. All the stories were good and although they deal with phobias and horrors not all of the tales were scary and each one leaves room for moral reflection. Fans of Massey will love the snippets of fears and horrors found in these short tales. I do suggest readers be ready to come face-to-face with their own trepidations.

fascinating series of character studies.......2006-07-05
The "them" starring in this interesting collection are abusive individuals paying the piper for odious deeds towards others. Each tale is well written with realistic characters whether they are victim or culprit throughout the anthology. However, upon reading fourteen tales with the identical twisted theme of an abuser (even disguised as a doppelganger grandmother or a hitchhiker) getting their due, the compilation runs thin. Still read a few at a time over a period, as these entries will grip readers who root for the underdog to rise. Especially strong is The Sting and The Hitcher (think of the movie), which the audience will have to reread several times because they are so good. Brandon Massey provides a strong fascinating series of character studies that star twisted protagonists and the victims often submissives they afflict.

Not what I originally expected...but still very pleased........2006-06-24
I really enjoyed Twisted Tales. It was somewhat of a detour from Brandon Massey's usual writing because every story does not involve outright horror, but the suspense is present throughout. Each tale is clearly and effectively woven to leave the reader in a state of awe. Even though the stories are short the characters leave an impression on the reader. Overall, a great read for a great price from an excellent author.

Well Worth The Money.......2007-07-23
I used to read TTT in Toyfare itself - they were always pretty funny. I didn't realize they did these until I was at a comic convention in Nov 2005. Picked it up and read it in about a week - very funny and well worth it. I agree with the first reviewer about the "Slideshows". They never really got me laughing, but the rest is comic gold. Since picking up this guy I have been working my way through the other 7 volumes available. I just started #1 and so far so good. If this was $25 I'd say NO WAY, but at $12 it is worth every cent.
Fer the luva Mike..........2006-01-16
Yikes... the writers of "Twisted ToyFare Theatre" appear to be runnin' out of steam, seein' as how TTT volume 6 is just as hit-and-miss with the yuks as its immediate predecessor was (TTT vol. 5, available at www.amazon.com/gp/product/0974325384). Some of the TTT running jokes are startin' to show their age, like the two- page blind joke where Mego Daredevil buys a car (pp. 80-81). And the Godzilla-Gamera "showdown in "Annoy All Monsters!" (pp 64-70) had so much potential. Oh well, ya can't win `em all...
And, seriously, they gotta give up on the "Slideshows" (sprinkled throughout the book), where they take stills from a notable cartoon show (in this instance, "G.I. Joe", "Wheeled Warriors", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", and "Spider-Man"), and try to make a funny comic-strip-style adventure out of the stills. Only problem is, I've never found any of ToyFare's "Slideshows" the least bit amusing, and the bunch featured in this tome is no exception. BTW TTT promotes the SlideShows as "remastered cartoons done stupid"... and, boy, are they! Only problem is, they're not stupid in a funny way, they're just plain stupid. Anyhoo, what ToyFare should do is bring back "Side Show", which involved non-Mego figures saying very wrong things. At least those were funny some times...
On the upside: there were enough truly hilarious moments to make TTT V6 pretty good one-off reading. Such moments as Captain America reminiscing over previous... um, dalliances ("Oh yeah... pledge allegiance to THAT!"). Or the two "Star Wars" vignettes, including the "Star Wars 4.5/Star Trek III" crossover "Nobody Does it Vader", and Mego Spidey's takedown of "Star Wars Episode III" ("Sith Sandwich"). And Mego Daredevil taking Ben Affleck to court over Affleck's portrayal of "The Man Without Fear!" in "The Daredevil's Advocate" had its moments, in spite of the somewhat tiresome blind jokes. It also helps that this particular feature features "Night Court's" Bull Shannon as the bailiff. Man, did I love "Night Court" back in the day. Still do, actually...
Bottom line: you'd do well to borrow this from a fellow geekin' fanboy buddy and give it a read before you consider plunkin' down the twelve-ninety-nine cover price plus sales tax for it. It's decent one-off reading, but not quite good enough to be a keeper for my book shelf...

Hilarious!.......2006-12-16
I LOVE portrayals of monster rabbits because I have one myself--I took him in when I found him hopping down the street one week after Easter--yup, he was one of those poor abandoned Easter rabbits. He repays me by acting the savage beast. It is hilarious to be attacked by such an adorable creature, and his is SO WELL represented in this book!
WOW! WOW! WOW!.......2003-12-15
GET THIS BOOK! This is fun to look at! What an imagination! Fluid and Beautiful designs make these drawings irresistable to stare at for hours. The artist is as imaginative as he is a talented.artist.
The Ears that Bite.......2003-10-10
Anyone who loves Monty Python, or who is a fan of Anya understands that rabbits are really voracious, man-eating creatures that hunt the night (or Knight) looking for the unsuspecting. And yet we continue to expose out children to them, believing that appearances could never be that deceiving. Finally, Michel Gagne has decides to take the lid of this secret scandal and reveal to the world the real horror that lurks between those sad brown eyes and cutesy tails.
Gagne was an illustrator in the well-known Don Bluth Studios until they closed in 1992. during that period he and another artist, Dave Kupczyk had a one-on-one competition about who could draw the evilest rabbit. While we won't know the real winner until Kupczyk publishes his own book, Gagne's rabbits are a delightfully evil and twisted as they come. The stuff of fluffy nightmares.
This is one of those books that is reserved for gag gifts for rabbit enthusiasts and excesses of cute, but it is fun for anyone that discovers it. Even as we speak, my cats are checking it out and whispering tales about that famous serial killer, Jack the Rabbit. You can't help but like this thin volume. Recommended for the light of heart.
Twisted Wabbits.......2001-05-03
What delightful book. Gagne in color is even twice the power of his other popular offerings. I think he has really matured into a fine author and every new book is a joy. All I can say to Twisted Rabbits is bravo. What great designer.
Pure Creativity.......2001-02-24
With his latest collection of striking pencil sketches the author charms, delights, amuses and frightens his readers. The central theme here is of evolution: the author presents us with his interpretation of the evolution of the rabbit species over the next 100 million years. Elmer Fudd Beware!

Maybe This One Would Be Mr. Right?.......2007-06-17
What kind of woman would date a man who would call his former girlfriend while making love to his new woman? Isrie Walker was that kind of woman. She had a knack for selecting the wrong type of man to get involved with. In fact, she met her last scumbag Ryan on a television dating show. She could not count on her own self when it came to making good choices in men, but she could count on her long time friend Deja for always being there to pick her up when she fell. Now that she had literally run in to her new love interest Michael, would Deja have to pick her up again?
Deja Douglas was a free-lance photograher. Her weight had always been something that she had been concerned about, but she hid it from the world with her pretty face and an electic style of dressing. She had a quick whit and a bubbly personality. She photographed some very sexy male models almost everyday and from time to time she couldn't help but look at their firm muscular bodies with the eyes of a woman instead of a photographer. In her heart she thought that she would never stand a chance with any of them, so she kept her admiration to her self. That was until one of them started to show admiration for her. Was he for real?
Good writing by author Eric Pete. He gives a good depiction of how it is now days in the dating world for people in the business of servicing and photographing the 'beautiful people'. Who can you trust and who can be trusted? Yet, these women wanted to give love another try.

FIRST TIME BUT DEFINITELY NOT MY LAST!!!!.......2006-09-20
Isrie and Deja have been there for each other for a long time but they have one thing that most women have in commom----NO GOOD MEN. Isie ran into hers one day, really, RAN into his BMW and they started dating soon after. Expensive gifts and lush dinners comforted her but his job kept him away a lot. Deja was an overweight photographer that caught the attention of a muscular beautiful man by the name of Ivan Dempsey. Ivan made her feel beautiful. She even took diet pills for him.
This story has many twists and turns. I loved it!! Everything that glitters is definitely not gold!
Do it again!.......2006-08-18
The book kept me engaged and wanting to read more. The conflict kept it going. The personalities and roles of each character were very realistic which brought it to life for me. I was holding my breath the entire time and couldn't stop reading. The end will leave you with your mouth open. Do it again!
My first read by mr.pete.......2006-08-10
i was weary about this book because i had never read any of his books. But this was a very interesting read, i wish though in the end it would have let u know how the two friends stayed in touch or if they even did. I recommed this book.
Great read!.......2006-01-23
Don't Get it Twisted is a GREAT read! If I didn't know it was written by a man, I would've sworn a woman wrote the story. The way the author portrays the women, and the things they go through, how they feel, etc....I thought only another woman could successfully pull that off, but Eric Pete pulled it off.
Keep up the goood work!

The wastelands that comprise the Twisted Earth of Darwin's World are home to myriad of horrendously-mutated beings, from intelligent character-types worthy of interaction to simply the cannibalistic or predatory creatures that prey on the weak or solitary. Dangers other than the ever-present radiation and the chemically contaminated ecosystem do exist out there, and are rightly feared by all folk of sound mind. Terrors of The Twisted Earth is a sampling of the kind of mutated beasts that pose threats to player characters in Darwin's World.
