great book.......2007-09-30
this was a very good book. i like all of the suspense and excitment in the story. i don't like what happens to Stonefur, but i like the end and how everything turns out. i don't want the original series to end. It will be hard to see Fireheart as the leader, and not having him be the main character. the next book that is abuot him is firestar's quest, which comes after the new prophecy #6. I am reading book #2 in the new prophecy. i can tell you that all of the warrios books are good
The dark book.......2007-08-26
This book was, as the title implies, a darker read. It was sad and at times hard to read but it was still a good page turner and I really liked it though at times it was hard to see my favorite characters in such bad situations. But that is perhaps the charm of the book. There is no skimping on the bad things that can happen in life, but somehow things always do work out in the end and perhaps I read this one faster than usual so I could get the characters to a better place in their lives. A great finish to a wonderful first series.
Best Book In The Series.......2007-07-23
IN THIS BOOK(SPOILERS)Firestar, the new leader of thunderclan recieves a prophecy and it means ThunderClan and WindClan will form LionClan who will fight RiverClan,BloodClan,ShadowClan who will Form Tigerclan. Sincerly,Thrushpelt, a LeporadClan Warrior
I really enjoyed this series........2007-06-05
I think warrior cats is a very good series. Most of it is not predictable until the very end, but it is still good. It is about a house cat called Rusty who journeys into the forest and joins ThunderClan, to help them survive. In the end he becomes clan leader with the name Firestar. I also think it has brilliant description. I recommend this series to people who like fighting and cats!

Great, Surprising, and Suspencefull.......2007-06-04
In this book of Hunter's amazing series, Warriors, Fireheart becomes Firestar after Bluestar's death. He learns of a dangerous Clan outside of the four Clan's that rule the forest. It could mean the distruction of all the Clans or it could mean another treachery of Tigerclaw's. Or both.

THIS WAS THE BEST OF THE FIRST 4 BOOKS!! Seriously, my favorite!! From the beginning to the end is amazing and very surprising. I didn't want to stop reading. Im a girl of 13 years old and I seriously recomend the series to grade 7 to up.
AMAZING!.......2006-10-13
I love the whole series and I recommend it for anyone ages 11 and up. Meg Cabot is my favorite author and this book WOW'd me more than any other book I've read by her! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Love this book.......2006-07-25
My daughter got me hooked on this series and I was surprised at the great writing.
the best of the series ... so far.......2006-07-12
I love this book , and I love the character Jesse. This book is nothing but nonstop action and thrills , and some parts are so sad , and how Suze does to get Jesse back is certainly is unexpected. Although the new character Paul is very intriguing and I like his character , I can't wait to read the next book to find out about him.And I love the ending . Meg cabot really undone herself this time!
The Mediator .......2006-04-24
The fourth book of the series The Mediator did not fail to deliver a great and wonderful thrill. Susannah is still trying to live a normal teenage life without any ghosts interfering, besides Jesse her ghost friend that haunts her room. Susannah soon finds out its going to be harder than she thought, when she discovers a young boy who is a mediator just like herself. Things also get worse when she discovers that the young kid's brother Paul has a crush on Susannah.
While she is trying to deal with all this stuff, her stepbrothers accidentally dig up Jesse's dead body in their backyard. Since Jesse's body was discovered Jesse has no reason to stick around in the real world and gets sent to the ghost world. Now Susannah wants to bring Jesse back to the real world, but when Susannah finds out that Jesse was killed by his girlfriend many years ago, Jesse's girlfriend comes back from the dead to try to stop Susannah from finding out anything else. How is Susannah going to get Jesse back and deal with everything that's going on at the same time? Read the book to find out
I loved this book this was the best book of the series so far, because it added new enemies that Susannah has to worry about. I liked this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes mystery and action books. I would also tell them to read the whole series first because they are all good books.

Book Description
Peter Parker's life has hit a peaceful stretch. No evildoers have tried to flatten him in weeks, his marriage to Mary Jane is
stronger than ever, and he's enjoying his job as a high school
science teacher. Life is good.
Naturally, that doesn't last.
When Peter learns that his old enemy the Rhino is on a rampage in Times Square, he suits up as Spider-Man to stop the destructive villain in his tracks. But he's unexpectedly foiled in his attempts by the Black Cat, a former ally and old flame. The Cat informs Peter that the Rhino is just a distraction -- the real threat comes from a group of Ancients, members of the same race as the being called Morlun, who Spidey defeated in battle years earlier. The Ancients are now looking to exact revenge -- and hope to steal Spider-Man's life force in the process.
To defeat such powerful beings, Spider-Man is going to need all the help he can get, especially from the Black Cat. But what will Mary Jane Parker have to say about that? Peter isn't sure which is worse -- the Ancients trying to drain his life force, or the wrath of a jealous wife....
Customer Reviews:
Loved the book!.......2007-09-07
Dialogue is wonderful and hilarious (For instance, Spidey asking Dr. Strange why he can't just magically fix his fractured wrist: "For you, isn't this just a bibbity-bobbity boo-boo?")...characterization, dead on...plot, well thought out...writing outstanding.
I highly recommend!
Super Reader.......2007-08-04
This is pretty good, in fact, I like it more than the couple of Dresden files books out there.
After encountering the Rhino, Spidey learns that Morlun wasn't the only one of his kind, and there are three more of them coming. Luckily, he has help. The Black Cat is around, and doesn't want the Spider eaten, and Doctor Strange offers some sneaky help that isn't help, and a nice sandiwch thanks to Wong.
When the Rhino's employers, the Ancients, turn on him, and Spidey saves his grey leathery hide, he agrees to help the pair of heroes with their plan.
I have actually read a trade recently of Spider-Man fighting the Morlun guy, so perhaps that was fortuitous, as I haven't read much of him for a long time, but this book is definitely enjoyable, wry, amusing, action packed, altruistic, and other stuff.
Fun, Surprisingly Well Written First-Person Narrative!.......2007-07-28
I have been aching to read another Spidey novel since the ones written in late 90s. I am a huge fan, however the last five years until J. Michael Straczynski wrote Amazing.
I knew of Butch from Dresden files, underrated show but worried how he'd write Spiderman especially knowing it would be a First-Person narrative! HOWEVER I was most thankfully surprised! He is a true fan and does Parker and the Spiderman universe and characters proudly!
I LOVED this book being different, being a first person narrative (don't see that often in ANY books these days) let alone a Marvel Book. But Butcher captures Peter's insatiable wit to the tee and at the same time his genuine humbleness.
Many moments I laughed out loud, Butcher REALLY got into the essence of Spidey/Peter's character! The action is heavy, but there is a nice B plot with Peter being a fill in coach, and his relationship with MJ does not disappoint. There IS depth here, it's no Dicken's obviously but it doesn't need to be.
The characters are drawn out nicely, have depth and psychological impact. Even the Rhino gets his horns into some sympathetic meat!
Butcher deliver's a fun, insightful, caring and engrossing novel here. It DOES have psychological depth and deeper more meanigful and more personal themes than most other Spidey novels I've read.
I REALLY hope Butcher will do ANOTHER FIRST PERSON SPIDEY narrative!
It was such a treat to read being First Person, I must say. And Butcher (repeating myself =) is so good at it!
Fair to good.......2007-07-08
Butcher works better with the meat of the Dresden Files,
though I liked his psychological insights into the marriage of
spider man. Unlike Jim Spider Man isn't my favorite hero. I prefer
Dr. Strange and luckily he is in this Spider Man. Thankfully there was enough fun to keep me going to the end.
A fast paced and enjoyable Spider man read suitable for all ages.......2007-03-14
Peter Parker is in over his head again. When he goes to confront The Rhino, who is tearing up Times Square, he finds it is a trap that he only escapes from because of a warning from his friend The Black Cat.
This is an enjoyable, lightweight read. Like all of Jim Butchers books, it is heavy on action, but in this case not deep in psychological insight into the character. It's a novel I've enjoyed reading once, but I doubt I'd read it twice - rather like my views on a lot of comics I'm afraid, even though I do have soft spot for the ever-likeable Spider-Man.
If you enjoy the adventures of Peter Parker that follows the classic comic book background then this is a book you should pick up as it retains the feeling of the comics very well.

Book Description
Little-known Graeme Obree became international cycling’s most unlikely star, capturing the public’s imagination with his innovative engineering and design skills and unique training regiments. When he broke world records and won championships, the cycling authorities outlawed both his bike and his tucked riding position. He invented the "Superman" riding style and triumphed again. But while battling authorities and other cyclists, Obree was also battling a much more serious threat: bipolar disorder. In The Flying Scotsman, Obree tells his remarkable story with brutal honesty and unexpected humor. Beginning with his troubled childhood in Ayrshire, where the bike was his only escape, Obree recounts his turbulent life and career, describing what drove him to not only break records, but to attempt suicide on three separate occasions. Long known for his courage on the track, here Obree demonstrates a different kind of courage as he movingly lays bare his struggle with manic depression.
Customer Reviews:
Not light, but very interesting.......2007-05-08
Reading the book makes the movie "The Flying Scotsman" seem like a made for TV lite version. Obree's had some serious ups and downs, but the book is good reading and gives insights into greatness in cycling, and the horrors of depression.
Inside The Rider's Head.......2006-05-08
This is the first autobiography I've ever read. Obree's life hold's intrigue as he was quickly launched from amateur to pro in the cycling world almost before he really considered himself a cyclist.
As he was setting world records, he was battling with a low self-image, and when you parallel his thoughts with what he accomplished, you cannot deny that this book does more than just show one man's struggle to be a cycling champion - it explores the true heart behind the actions we do, and forces us to realize that money and fame are not an end in themselves. Ugly thoughts from childhood still haunt him through the very moment he wrote them in this book. It's interesting that as he writes this book, he is still uncertain about what the future holds for him. He has survived truly phenominal challenges, and is amazing in his brutal honest opinion of himself.
He has a very informal style, and his mind flows on the page through his pen, and it is an adventure till the last page.

Book Description
Growing up on the thriving plantation called The Meadows, Lillian Booth cherishes the brightest, happiest dreams....
Lillian's world is full of grand parties, of sunshine and promises, as thrilling as the fairy tales Mama spins for her and her little sister, Eugenia. No one, not even her cold, stern Papa and her Bible spouting sister Emily, can crush her spirits -- until the day Emily reveals the shattering secret at Lillian's birth, a secret Mama sadly cannot deny. Still Lillian refuses to believe Emily's hateful claim that she is evil, a curse...even when sweet, gentle Eugenia loses her fragile hold on life, and Mama retreats further into her fantasies. But when tragedy befalls her best friend, the one boy whose tender heart mirrors her own, Lillian comes to believe Emily's grim words. Meekly, she endures her penance, finding a strange solace in the endless repetition of prayers in a room stripped of all comforts. Lillian's heart is torn anew when, in a drunken haze, Papa subjects her to the most brutal degradation. Then Papa loses The Meadows in a card game, and Lillian is faced with a new and terrifying prospect. Arrogant, handsome playboy Bill Cutler will return the plantation -- if Lillian will marry him! Now Lillian must leave her girlhood home behind, and make a bold new beginning as the mistress of a hotel called Cutler's Cove...
Customer Reviews:
It was okay when I was fourteen, but..........2005-08-07
then I grew up and dug out my Andrews books after they'd been sitting in my closet for a time. I reread this morbid tale one night as I tried to fall asleep. At first it entertained me. But having parted ways with these stories for years, I realized that it was the same spark that got people to read books like Mommie Dearest or Flowers in the Attic. People love to be shocked. And this is a book with nothing but horrible things befalling our 'beautiful' heroine with no bright light ahead of her. It seems that all of the good guys in VCA books are beautiful and most of the bad guys are ugly. And did I mention the rape scenes were absolutely disgusting?
I rest my case...
an idea.......2005-06-20
I would love to read a story written from Charlotte's point of view. Sure, Darkest Hour was prteey good, but it does not explain why Charlotte was afraid of Lillian. Maybe the Cutler series needs her to tell her story, about how Emily treated her.
sad story of a lovely lady.......2005-05-09
Darkes Hour, was the first novel I read in the Cutler series. I decided to read this book, since the fifth book is usually the PREQUEL. Lillian grew up in a privelaged home with a big house and magnolias everywhere. Yet she still has to deal with her adultering uncle/dad (who rapes her), her spineless mom and evil sister/cousin Emily. She becomes a total victim and prisoner in her home.
Then at 16, she is betted off to womanizer Bill Cutler, and becomes the matron of Cutler's Cove. She falls in love with the hotel, and becomes a big success.
I thought Lillian was going to be a kind and loving grandmother in the first novel, Dawn. However she ends up being Grandmother Cutler, a cold frigid bitch who make Dawn miserable.
An Evil Granny's Story.......2005-05-08
Well, here we come to the last book about the Cutlers, and it's told by the evil granny. Who, as is the tradition in V.C. Andrews books, was not quite so evil in her youth, so she has a right to narrate a story.
Actually, this is a little weird. If you've read the previous books in this series, you'll probably know that the evil granny (or Lilian, as she is called here), isn't actually related to Dawn or Christie. Or is she? Because this is the prequel, and we've already found out a lot of shocking secrets about who's related to who in the last four books. Is it possible that there could be one last, horrible secret that would change the way the readers look at, say, Dawn and Jimmy's marriage? Well?
As it turns out, no. The only horrible secret revealed that wasn't mentioned in the other books is something to do with Lilian's parentage. Which doesn't really impact on anything that happened in the other books. Erm.
But there's always an advantage to these "narrated by the evil granny" books, and that is the fact that they're set in the past, so there's an excuse for the prudery and daffyness. It would sound a bit strange for a modern-day mother to tell her daughter that only "loose women" like to show off their cleavage, but in a 1930s (I'm guessing) mother, it makes sense. As do the swoony-true love-fairy tale parts. They should set these books in the past more often- they're better at it.
Finally, there's the part where poor old Lilian's sickly mother and sister, pervy father, religious fundamentalist sister and not-particularly-agile boyfriend set up a series of events that ruins her life. And I can't think of a better author when it comes to writing melodramatic life ruination. It's when these books get dark, gruesome and miserable that they're at their cheesy best.
Good vs. Evil.......2004-08-20
This is another great VC Andrews book where basically good vs. evil. However, in this book, it didn't seem that good won out. We did however get a good look into the life of grandmother Culter who we met in the first two Cutler novels and get some back ground on her life. Why she became who she was...
It was a very good read, giving us readers a chance to actually get to like grandmother Cutler- who we all hated previously. There are moments in this novel that are so horrifying, you will be shocked. The whole time I was reading, I just wanted to get to the end and reach the conclusion I was waiting for.
Overall I enjoyed the Cutler series. I'd recommend it to teenagers and adults alike, if you like a good juicy, fun read.

Jet Stream is a cautionary adventure that warns against a frighteningly plausible future.
Customer Reviews:
Imaginitive vision of the future.......2007-10-09
I am a huge fan of futurist fiction. Really enjoyed Jet Stream. This is a highly effective, intelligent and chilling vision of the future. I agree with one of the other reviewers that futurist writers should choose dates that won't get old fast! 2012 is right around the corner! But that said, it doesn't really matter. Space Odyssey 2001 for example, is a classic despite not being an entirely accurate predicition for the environ of 2001!
If you enjoyed this book you will love Richard Friar's recent novel "The Keepers: WWIII." The Keepers: Part 1: WWIII
Great Read.......2007-05-10
I stumbled across Jet Stream by accident while browsing Amazon for books having a WWIII/Geo-Policitcal theme to them. When I came across Jet Stream I almost passed it up as it was written in 1996 and the title did not catch my eye.
Was I glad I went back, read a few reviews and then bought the book. I could NOT put it down. Great story line that is not all that far fetched.
If you enjoy Tom Clancy, Harold Coyle or Eric L. Harry then you will enjoy this book!!
Hopefully we will see more from RL Muehlberg!!!!
unpredictable future, citizen soldiers, etc........2006-08-02
I enjoyed JET STREAM when I read it about ten years ago (it was published in 1996). This was a half-decade before the attacks of September 11, the invasion of Afghanistan (where the Canadian Forces are now operating and where their peerless and decorated sniper teams also supported American military units so ably in the initial phases), and the Second Iraq War (where British troops have carried their share of the load so very well under difficult conditions in Basra). All of these events may have seemed implausible or impossible to many readers in 1996.
The inability to predict future events with complete accuracy is what makes futuristic novels and alt-history so enjoyable.
It is important that readers remember that this is "fiction," and the author can have some fun with alternate "scenarios." Yes, we were and are allied with Canada and Great Britain in NORAD, NATO, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. Yes, we have "special relationships" with both of these great countries. But, even if some of the elements of the JET STREAM story seems implausible in light of today's events, it helps to remember (repeat!) that this is "futuristic fiction," and to suspend disbelief and go with the flow.
I re-read JET STREAM just last week in one sitting. I found that I still enjoyed the story. If anything, it may have helped if the author had moved the timeline back to 2020 or 2030 AD in order to further distance the story from current world events. I can only hope that he will do so in any updated edition of the book that may be published in the future.
The author could not know, when he published the book in 1996, that the Shangai Cooperation Organization (SCO) -- China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan -- would be created in 2001. Nor could he know that Iran would be granted observer status to the SCO in 2005. Who could have guessed that populist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez would be visiting Russia, Iran, Vietnam, Cuban, and many South American nations in an attempt to build counterbalancing relationships directed at the United States? Who could have guessed that the PRI political party would lose its 70-year hold on the political system in Mexico in 2000, or that the PAN and PRD political parties would be locked into the current presidential electoral situation in 2006? Who could have guessed that Al Quaeda would perpetrate the 9/11 attacks or that Israel and Hezbollah would be locked into the current conflict?
Just the establishing of the SCO makes one realize that the author's Asia-Pacific Confederation is not implausible.
On another thematic level, the role of the citizen soldier (or professional sailor or Maine State Police troopers) in defending a weary and isolationist United States is a critical element in JET STREAM. The Maine National Guard soldiers under Lt Kirby and the fast attack boat sailors under Adm Chang are loyal to the "idea" of America.
When the author publishes his second and third books, I hope that he will also find a role for other federal elements, like the U. S. Coast Guard, the border inspection services, the U. S. Border Patrol, etc. Adding them to the mix will certainly add to/spice up FATE LAUGHING (volume two) and ARMAGEDDON (volume three). I can only hope that the author will have the time and wherewithal to publish these follow-on volumes at some point in the future.
Let me conclude by saying that JET STREAM is a quick, easy, and fun read. I recommend it.
Timely read for the 2003 paranoid American.......2003-04-04
I originally read this novelzine in 1997 and found the plot quite foolhardy. The content was simplistic but I could not put the book down until I had read it cover to cover. Not hard to do at 129 pages. Anyway, when the french and germans started there petty little games this year I remembered this story and read it again. Wow! How different it hit me this time. You still have to stretch to get even alittle reality out of it but the parts with the protesters ralling againt America defending itself is right on. Now in a time when this plot may actually ring true (stretch mind you) the rest of the story remains unwritten. Where is the rest of the Trilogy? I attempted to email the author using the address in the book to no avail. So now that reality has caught up to his vision he leaves his futuristic prediction unfinished. Now that is "Fate Laughing". P.S. Remember RED DAWN the US will never fall with Patrick Swayse and Jennifer Grey leading the charge. I really do think it's worth the read. Thank You R.L. Muehlberg you were ahead of your time.
Great Read.......2003-01-14
The book has a new and different twist on a theme that has been around some time. It is an easy and very interesting read and the author is to be offered congrats on a job well done.

One of the most helpful books during grieving.......2002-01-23
I read several books, all of which were helpful to me recently when I lost someone I loved. This book, however, stayed with me. I couldn't put it down and read it all within two nights, actually three, because I saved the last few pages until the third night (didn't want it to end). I had taken it out at the library, but after reading it decided to buy it from Amazon. Brehony incorporates all types of religious themes/spiritual themes into this book and really gave me a wonderful introduction to Budhism - which I have begun to practice after reading some of the stories and quotes in her book. She does not push any of the religions or spiritual teachings she uses, however, but she presents them in such a way that the reader is helped. I am still grieving and I plan on re-reading her book once I get it from Amazon. I have realized that nothing can truly take away the pain I have from my loss, but Kathleen's book has helped me to see that the best thing I can do is to feel how I feel, instead of figuring out how to run away from it. I recommend this book highly and if you are very open, you might try reading Walking in the Garden of Souls, by George Anderson, which also helped comfort me during this time (although some people may not be open to some of his ideas). At the very least, read Kathleen's book, I felt as if she was sitting next to me helping me through this difficult period of time. It helps because grieving can feel very lonely at times.
A book you will read again - and again!.......2001-10-22
I stumbled upon this book when I needed to read it most, proving "of course", that there are no "coincidences!" Don't even open the cover until you have a highlighter in hand, as you will want to go back and read again - and again - and again...
Easy to read, very well organized, thought provoking. This is NOT a sad book, in spite of the title. Communicates a great understanding - makes sense of suffering - allows the reader to move on, and begin the "journey to wisdom."
Many of my books find their way, ultimately, to a second hand bookshop. Not this one... it has found a place on my permanent collection shelf. Thanks, Kathleen. Well done.
Which will you choose?.......2001-02-19
With this book, Kathleen Brehony has eloquently reminded us that through our suffering, we are sometimes given our most precious gifts. How we choose to deal with our grief makes all the difference; will we choose love over hate, wisdom over ignorance, compassion over bitterness, or life over death? Which will you choose? Read this book & share it with someone you love!
After the Darkest Hour is enlightening.......2001-01-29
How is it that some people become bitter while others thrive as they live through difficult or painful experiences? What can we learn that will guide us through our own dark times to greet the dawn with brighter sight?
Most of us are taught to expect tough times - to suffer horribly. We expect to be diminished, to be tested & found wanting. Most of us think grieving is for wimps & the emotionally unstable. We are taught that control is all & surrender cowardly; that destiny rules our lives & choice is for the wealthy. Most of us have been taught poorly & After the Darkest Hour has a lot to help us re-teach ourselves so we may walk our path in our own shoes.
I really relished Dr. Brehony's Practical Suggestions & her stories as she recounts her insights from the lessons her clients & family taught her.
After the Darkest Hour is a rich & thoughtful read. While gently instructive, it does remind us, frequently, that we are not alone & that walking blindly through our lives will surely cause us to whack our shins on what we insist upon not seeing or believing that no one else, ever, has felt or known such misery. Being Human is a Guest House.......2000-10-28
The Arthor's quote from Rumi at the end of the book says the whole thing. It's what the book is all about. It is a lesson is dealing with adversity, here is an excerpt from that Quote! "This being human is a guest house, Every Morning a New Arrival! Welcome and entertain them all. Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight!. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and INVITE THEM IN. Be grateful for whomever comes, beacause each has been sent as aguide from beyond!"
Brehony concludes this remarkable treatise by saying, "Say yes to all of your life. Choose to live joyfully even in your pain. Love yourself and everyone else. Be present always, alive to every moment. Grieve when you should, fight when you can, accept when you must. But above all say YES!.
Get this book and never put it aside, keep it handy for reference. When a friend is in sorrow, look closely again through "After the Darkest Hour" and you will find a comforting thought to share with your friend and the both of you will be the better for the sharing. It worked for me.

Helpful to any parent who has lost a child.......2003-05-16
I think that this is one of the best bereavement books I have ever read. No matter what the conditions were of your childs' death, you will find yourself in this book. This book drives home that we may be thrown into a different world when our child dies, but we bereaved parents all share many common similarities in feelings and thoughts. This book helps a bereaved parent realize that they are not alone in their grief; the emotions they are feeling are 'normal'. I would recommend this book to anyone who has lost a child and any family member or friend who knows someone who has lost a child.
Don't bother.......2002-03-08
After the death of my 24 yr old son in September 2000 I was desperate for some relief from my grief. I read several books on the loss of a child. This was the worst one. I felt cheated after reading it, I wish I could have gotten my money back. The book that helped the most was "The Bereaved Parent."
Incredible Read.......2002-02-02
After experiencing our own devastating losses, this book comforts me still. I highly recommend it to anyone who has lost a child, from conception to adulthood. You are never alone in your grief. Your life will go on. GB
Very helpful.......2001-12-11
I lost my 10 month old son a year ago to heart disease. I found this book very helpful/comforting. Many of the items 'rang true' for me. I would pick it up and dip into a couple of chapters at a time.
Rambling, Hard-to-Follow Book Only Minimally Helpful.......2001-08-27
This book was not very helpful in coping with the loss of my child, who died recently from cancer at the age of four. (Brain tumor) The book rambles and jerks from scene to scene, taking you to different losses of children from around the world and throughout time. It actually made me more sad. The foreword by Rabbi Harold Kushner was more helpful. I would not recommend this book to the newly bereaved parent.

Best grief support book.......2004-01-09
After losing a daughter in an auto accident, I looked for answers in grief recovery books. Of course I didn't find any answers, but I found the best little book of comfort. I now buy this book in bulk and give to friends after a loss of a loved one. It walks you through all the stages of grief and provides short readings you can leave and come back to. The book is pricesless.
My little angel, Logan Matthew........2000-04-14
I received this book as a gift after the death of my little grandson, Logan Matthew. He was born on Valentines day 2000. He gave light to the lives of all he touched. He died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome just 3 weeks later. This book really lived up to it's title. My Companion Through Grief. I don't feel so alone anymore. This book has helped restore my faith in the overall plan of God.
