Jesus Calling.......2007-09-25
This is a very beautiful, inspirational book for all christians. I have it and I read it every day I also give it as gifts. Every one who I have given it to as a gift has loved it and then they give it as a gift.
Inspirational.......2007-09-22
Jesus calling has been a wonderfully inspirational part of my daily devotions. I have also given this book away to many others, most of whom have been so powerfully touched by it that they have also given it to their own friends and family. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Jesus Calling.......2007-09-21
Jesus Calling is a daily devotion book that has touched and encouraged me tremendously. The author is gifted at connecting God's own heart to the reader. Each daily reading is a reminder that Jesus cares personally and that His Presence can be a regular part of my life.
Each day's reading is short enough to be practical, but powerful and meaningful enough to be fulfilling. The author's words are as if Jesus is speaking to the reader, and there are scriptures references indicating the biblcal content used.
THE BEST.......2007-09-14
Sarah Young has done a fabulous job with this devotional. It is undoubtedly THE BEST daily devotional I've ever used. I received this as a gift in 2005 and continue to use it today. No other devotional compares in it's daily reading and scripture quotes. I look forward to any other books Sarah Young may write.
A Definite book for every Christians library!!!
My favorite devotional ever.......2007-09-08
Jesus Calling After reading one entry in someone else's copy, I immediately went home and ordered my own copy. Since then I have given over 25 copies of this fantastic little book away. I like to keep extra copies on hand for that special person that I know could use it in their life. It is written for the reader as if Christ is speaking to that person directly. It never fails to comfort me and give me a desire to practice His presense and to experience total dependence on Him. I can't recommend this fabulous, inspired book enough.
Book Description
There’s a voice in the universe calling each of us to remember our purpose—our reason for being here now, in this world of impermanence. The voice whispers, shouts, and sings to us that this experience of being in form, in space and time, knowing life and death, has meaning. The voice is that of inspiration, which is within each and every one of us.
In this groundbreaking book,
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explains how we’ve chosen to enter this world of particles and form. From our place of origin, in ways that we don’t readily comprehend now, we knew what we were coming here to accomplish, and we participated in setting this life process in motion. So why not think this same way? Why put the responsibility or blame on any one or any thing that’s not a part of us? On Earth we have the capacity of volition—we can choose—so let’s assume that we had the same capacity when we resided in the spiritual realm. We chose our physical body, and we chose the parents we needed for the trip. It doesn’t seem too great a stretch to move into the idea that we chose this life in concert with our Source.
Each chapter in this book is filled with specifics for living an inspired life. From a very personal viewpoint, Wayne Dyer offers a blueprint through the world of spirit to inspiration, your ultimate calling.

Inspiration .......2007-09-09
It is an awesome book. I like it on CD so I can listen to it on my way to work.
Inspiration to inspire.......2007-08-31
This book gave me great perspective on things I thought I understood. It definitely inspired me, while accomplishing the not-so-easy feat of showing me that I too am an inspiration. All this was done with a gentleness and lovely humor. 110% percent worth it!!
Your Ultimate Calling.......2007-08-16
Wayne Dyer is my favorite inspirational writer.
Book is easy to read and captivating.

Repetitive New Age Twit.......2007-07-19
Maybe someone in the family needed braces, because here comes Dyer, spewing the same New Age drivel he's been producing for years - Spirit good. Ego bad. I think part of the earth trip is an ego trip, so enjoy your ego, Mr. Dyer, because you've got a huge one.
inSPIRITation is an ultiMATE companion for life .......2007-07-16
I personally do keep up with what he writes and his talk show on Hayhouse radio. And I do think this is one of his best latest books.
This book I think is great for breathing life into an uninspired life or even enthusing a bit of spirit into an already fruitful life.
You should buy this book if you want a pick-me-up in your life. I use to read it on my lunch break and it was a good little motivational tool to keep me living in spirit whilst at work :)
Its about returning to your source, the universal oneness that we all belong to. And what better person to walk with you their than Wayne. His words really do come through our God, and this book one way or another will touch you and will change you for the better.

Old Style - Used Car Sales Approach.......2007-07-07
If you want to fit the mold of the old time sales person who can sell ice to eskimos this is your book.
If you want a higher level modern approach that works in complex B2B sales don't buy this book. If your work involves selling to senior level people in corporations or government this book will be of little use to you. It is based on principles which which don't work with the kind of people on which you call.
Try: "Value Forward Selling," "Selling is Dead," and "Same Game, New Rules." Also try the "Advanced Selling" podcast. It's free and state of the art.
Cold Calling Techniques a must read.......2007-06-27
My staff and I are going through this book chapter by chapter every week during the later part of our sales meetings. It is a great way to discuss the age old dilema......"I hate cold calling. This gives the professional salesperson the tools needed to get over the fear, and distaste of making the inital contact whether door to door, or on the phone. I would recomend this book to all salespeople, sales leaders, and or managers. You may not agree with everything written....we don't, but it provides a forum for your team to discuss what they feel will work, might work, or will not work. It's a great read.
This Book Gets A Gold Star.......2007-05-14
Each year I read approx. 25 books. I keep a list on my computer, and those that stand out and provide above average advice get a gold star. This book got such a star.
Schiffman does a great job of working with the reader on the cold calling efforts that are so important to sales professionals. Many people try to discredit cold-calling and looking for ways around it (networking is a very important tool, but only when a compliement to other calling methods!), and this book shines the light on the best practices of picking up the phone and being heard.
Cold Calling Techniques Indeed.......2007-05-07
Stephan Schiffman is a great author. This book is so easy to read and Schiffman gets right down to the point. His techniques really do work and it take the negative connotation out of "cold calling" and gives the caller more confidence. I highly recommend this book.
First Cold Calling Book..........2007-02-06
I haven't read any other cold calling books. As a result, I don't know how this compares with others that you might be looking to buy. I can say, though, that I have just started my first sales job, and I found this book extremely helpful. It started off a little weak with the typical formulas about how many calls lead to how many proposals and sales, but when it got into the mechanics of a cold call, and tips on leaving voicemail, I found a lot of helpful information.

I LOVE the book God Calling.......2007-09-02
The book to me is life changing. I love reading it often even several times a day. It is inspiring. The message gives me faith, peace, and joy.
God Calling.......2007-07-09
God Calling is my favorite devotional book because every time I pick it up it has a word of comfort or challenge for my personal relationship with Christ. It speaks volumes with a short paragraph a day. It always gives me personal time with God every morning. It is a good book to lead you through your walk w/ Christ for any age.
A Timely Word.......2007-05-15
This journal speaks a fresh word to me each day. It is as though a prophet of God has sat with me and ministered to me a fresh word from the Lord. I would recommend this book or journal to anyone who is seeking God, or who may be going through a difficult time in their walk with Him. Our God is a very present help in time of need and this journal is just one tool He uses to give that help.
This book is a suprise........2007-05-13
My 82 yr old cousin was reading this book when I visited her this spring. She read an entry every day & had for years. When I got home, I ordered a copy & I am so in love w/it. I just open it randomly & the treasures I find are such a blessing. What I find is "what Jesus would say" if he could just pull up a chair & talk w/me. This is a very blessed book. I have so much respect & gratitude for the people who brought it into being. They really did the job Jesus asked them to do.
Necessary Reading.......2007-05-13
God Calling is a little book that can have a big impact on your life. Each day's reading is meaningful. I would recommend it to anyone of any religious viewpoint.

Customer Reviews:
Whimsical and Humourous.......2007-09-12
these stories are wonderful. i laughed through half of the books, and then i had some of my elementary age cousins read the series as well. they were able to comprehend them easily, as well as finding them enchanting.
Great books for a wide range of ages.......2007-08-03
This is a great collection of books with a strong heroine and a good sense of humor. They are an excellent choice to read out loud due to the fun characters and the whimsical nature of the writing, and the recurrent message of non-conformity is carried out well without feeling too didactic.
Other reviewers have given capsule summaries, but I would recommend against reading them if you can resist. Part of what was delightful about reading these books for me was seeing the story and Patricia Wrede's pattern unfold.
That being said, I will immediately contradict myself, and note that the third book is, in my opinion, the weakest of lot. I think this is because when I read the books, I was reading out loud. The third book has more fractured conversations and irritating voices popping up all over the place, and the pattern gets in the way of the narrative. Additionally, compared to the other books, the ending is unsatisfying, merely setting up the action for the fourth book. For what it's worth, my wife (who also loved this series) recommends skipping the third book altogether and allowing the story of the fourth to slowly fill you in on what happened in the third.
One other note that I will add is that the vocabulary used in these books is advanced enough to make them a better pick for 10+ year olds, in my opinion. I mistakenly recommended them to the 8 year old daughter of a friend and she struggled to read the first couple paragraphs. The first couple of pages use: philosophers, fashionable, periodic, prosperous, etiquette, etc. Nothing unheard of, obviously, but these are probably better read out loud to early readers. These younger kids will still love the story and the characters, though I guess they may miss some of the humor.
With the discounted Amazon price, this box set is a lot of story for the dollar. I highly recommend it.
dealing with dragons review.......2007-04-19
I like this book because of the adventure. it was interesting, the dragons are cool.if you like dragons and olden time books then this is the book for you. I liked when the wizard made the parts of the clif disipear . I liked the partwhere cimorene ment the dragon.
decent fantasy.......2007-03-09
The Enchanted Forest Chronicles is a decent fantasy novel that turns everything upside down, and wrongside up, and will more than once make you laugh out loud. A good read for any dragon and wizard fan.
4.5, actually, for a set of cute stories.......2007-02-16
I originally bought each of these books individually, and it was quite a pain finding all of them. This is a convenient way to purchase these very cute, very fun fantasy stories.
The first book, "Dealing with Dragons", is a very witty, very cute book about the improper princess who decides to live with dragons rather than get married to someone she doesn't even like. Cimorene becomes the dragon Kazul's "princess", doing her chores for her, cleaning out her library, and cooking for her. The story has a lot to do with the relationships between wizards and dragons and in a sense, everything mocks the "real" view. Throughout this book, Wrede is practically laughing at every fairy tale ever written, and it is hilarious.
Book two, "Searching for Dragons", introduces a new character. Mendanbar, King of the Enchanted Forest, needs to go talk to the dragon king (and there's a new one from the last book!). Unfortunately, the dragon king has been kidnapped, so he and Cimorene go looking for her. It's more action filled than its predecessor and has a lot more magic going on.
"Calling on Dragons" is clearly the weakest book in the bunch, though it's. It's least memorable of them all, its new characters are the most boring, and the plot is more of a preview for the final book, "Talking to Dragons".
And speaking of, "Talking to Dragons" once again brings us the fun and excitement the first two books brought. While each of the other books had a gap of time that stretch across a year or so, the gap between COD and TTD is much bigger... Sixteen years! We've got a whole new generation of characters, whether its the cats, the fiery girls, or our (!) narrarator! Yes, TTD is written in first person, which is a first in this series. We truly get into Daystar's head, which is fun and enjoyable. In a sense, TTD continues where COD left off, but obviously much later, and many things have changed.
So if you like rather mocking fantasy stories that are both fun and cute, you'll love this. If you love witches, evil wizards, cool dragons, and awesome characters, than this is a great set to pick up. Just remember that COD is more of a transition book and all will be well.
So go join Cimorene, Mendanbar, Kazul, Daystar, Morwen, the cats, those evil wizards, and the lot by buying this great set!

James Hillman, a former director of the Jung Institute who has written more than 20 books on behavior and psychology, delves into human development in The Soul's Code. Hillman encourages you to "grow down" into the earth, as an acorn does when it becomes a mighty oak tree. He argues that character and calling are the result of "the particularity you feel to be you" and knocks those who blame childhood difficulties for all their problems as adults. According to Hillman, "The current American identity as a victim is the flip side of the coin whose head brightly displays the opposite identity: the heroic self-made man, carving out destiny alone and with unflagging will." Hillman's theories seem disarmingly simple, but he backs them with a careful, well-practiced intellect.

The most Thelemic book by a non-Thelemic thinker on the market.......2006-12-01
This book gives a fascinating exposition of the theories of James Hillman and provides a metaphysic of life that everyone can benefit from. Life experiences of several people are given to illustrate his points. Hillman gives in ordinary language what Crowley spent thousands of words explaining.
Life-Changing Perspective.......2006-08-30
After reading Moore's "Care of the Soul," I decided to move on to his teacher, James Hillman. And I am glad I did.
This book gave me pause to conduct my own personal "archetypal autobiography," an exercise that has utterly transformed my life. Hillman's insights into the forces that move and motivate us have helped me as a man, as a father, and as a scholar.
I had my own copy bound in leather and I refer to it periodically -- when trends and events in my my life require archetypal realignment, when my soul needs grooming, and when I need the kind of perspective that shows me how I can gracefully my past into my present, and thence to the future.
It is a subtle and sophisticated set of arguments, not for the feint of mind.
Flip to his presentation of Plato's myth of Er (pp. 7-9 and 44-47) to capture a sense of Hillman's expansive wisdom.
The Inappropriateness of Myths for Adults.......2006-04-30
Hillman is a provocative author with many keen insights, but not unlike many psychologists in the Jungian tradition, he cannot refrain from the use of Myths. I deliberately capitalized the word Myth, because it more often than not is the problem, not the resource to resolution. Don't misunderstand me! Myths have figured heavily in all civilizations for their power to "see" something that is often otherwise not apparent. Moreover, myths are the backbone of civilizing humanity, telling stories, usually morality tales, that provide an insight that more direct discourse and narrative cannot capture. These Myths have a limited use, primarily for children, whose immaginations are charged by the peculiarity of the story, and through that peculiarity perceive a "truth" about life. Aesop's fables are perhaps paradigmatic, but other Myths exist too.
But as we enter the 21st C., isn't it time to limit the use of Myths for their pedagogical uses with children, and strip our adult minds of those Myths that have taken hold and twisted our sense of things. The most notable Myth in Western Civilization has been the Bible. The ironic twist about these particular Myths is that they are no longer pedagogical, but have become polemical. And I am far from confident that most of those Myths are innocent or benign. They no longer tell a story or morality tale, but in many people have become the Standard by which to measure all of life. And because the Myth transforms into religion, it often takes hold of people as though the stories are literally true, rather than metaphorically provocative. Instead of understanding a God of love and compassion, one encounters Yahweh whose jealousy and wrath are staples. And instead of perceiving "God" as the Energy that pervades the universe, its conception is of an anthropromorphic Deity, who caps things off by becoming human.
The point of all this is that Myths that go beyond mere stories and are transformed into "reality," often cause more damage than good. This is true both for the individual who maps out the world not as it is, but how a nomadic tribe millennia ago saw things. New tribes have arisen, but they tell the same unintelligible Myths. People even go to war over these Myths.
Thus, Hillman's use of the "acorn" is nowhere near that kind of Myth, but it perpetuates the Myth that only metaphors and stories can explain ourselves. So one Myth is substituted for another, denying all coherence to ourselves and others. That's what Myths do. And so we delude ourselves into thinking that only another Myth can overcome previous ones. At some point, we have to stop the endless progression of Myths and grab onto reality and face it head on. Myths not only do not do that, they prevent that from happening by their very nature.
Hillman's use of Myth is meant to be a "tool," but like many a tool it often becomes part of some larger apparatus like the person who uses it. Saint Paul said when he became an adult he put away childish things. And I suggest that using one Myth to see ourselves out of another Myth still keeps us in Myths. We persist in using childish tools, when only adult ones ultimately work. What was originally only a vehicle for insight inheres to our being and becomes the prism through which we view life. Hillman's "acorn" Myth is definitely useful, but as adults it's time to put away childish tools and start confronting life as adults. Instead of trying to "see" ourselves as we are, and for who we are, we hoist a new Myth to take on for changing our perception. We "see" the world through "Jungian" glasses, for example, rather than through the ones we should have formed.
At its most challenging reward, introspection and self-analysis require we face ourselves as we are, stripped of all the stories we have adopted as "our life." Only then can we find what we are searching for, and then begin to make sense of it.
Nurturing your own potential.......2006-03-13
A memorable book offering concepts that inspire and empower. I love the notion of a daimon that we carry within each of us. It brings awareness on nurturing our own greatest potential as well as those in the youth around us.
Missing the point.......2005-08-19
I chose not to finish the book, because I lost track what the message was supposed to be. I don't understand why authors decide to fill hundreds of pages and the quintessence is missing, instead of keeping it lean and to the point. Less can be more, but maybe the conclusion was revealed after I stopped reading......

Sales Consultant.......2007-10-04
I now know how Paul must have felt on the way to Damsacus after reading this book. This is the only book you need to get in front of Business Leaders when they are ready to buy. Jill teaches you to let companies tell you what they need, why they need it, and when they will buy it.
Sales success -- how to do it right........2007-10-02
I'd be delighted to share 2 of many successes I've had using this book. My first success was actually in the sales job interview with my current employer. Preparing for it I thought, "I know Jill has the answer to how this should be done." So I outlined my presentation according to her suggestions. Then I practiced it. And practiced it. I knew I was connecting with the Executives while presenting. When I finished they said, "Of course you can think about this before making a decision, but
we'd like to start the process right away to bring you on board."
The second one happened only 7 months later -- My employer awarded me as Most Innovative out of 150+ reps over the same product line across the U.S. Canada and India. How did they present me? I was described as an "innovative sleuth, always looking for clues to crack the code." One case was cited explaining "the CFO called back because Travis' message was about them, not us."
And I don't hesitate telling others this book explains the right way to do it.
As always, Jill, keep up the great work!
Travis
Take Your Career to the Next Level!.......2007-09-20
If you are a Sales Professional, marketer or business owner you have certainly, at some point, realized that selling to the big companies in your territory or market would take your career or business to the next level. Of course the next thought you had was, most likely, "how in the world do I get in the door?"
I find that the best advice and coaching comes from those who have been in the trenches, who have fought the battles, and who, despite obstacles and setbacks, have won. Jill Konrath is that person and Selling To Big Companies is hands down the best advice I have read on cracking the code to big company sales.
In this book Konrath delivers practical advice in an easy-to-understand format. Her ideas are easily implemented and will have immediate impact on your sales. Most importantly she will help you stand in the shoes of the Big Company buyer. And once you understand how the world works from the buyer's point of view she teaches powerful strategies to open doors, connect and deliver value that will result in big sales today and long-term relationships that continue to grow over time.

I teach copywriters and other freelancers how to build successful businesses by targeting the high-quality clients.
Until Jill's book came along, I really struggled with teaching the mindset and day-to-day realities of the target market we work so hard to get in front of.
This book is now part of my required reading list, and I refer to it throughout my coaching program. Jill, thank you for recognizing the void in the marketplace for this information!

Book Description
“The church must be distinct from the world to reach the world.”
— From Chapter 1
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for [God’s] own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9, ESV).
Holy and dedicated to declaring the excellencies of God—this is the church, or is it? Can we really call the church holy?
- A minority of those who claim to be born again say they believe in moral absolutes (Source: Barna Research).
- One third of evangelicals between the ages of 18 and 35 have no problem with unmarried men and women living together (Source: Evangelical Alliance).
Evangelical Christianity is becoming increasingly worldly. Materialism, hedonism, violence, sexual misconduct, pluralism, and divorce are becoming as common within the church as without. As a result the church is losing its distinct identity as a people set apart to reach the world.
In this book, R. Kent Hughes builds a case for godliness in the church—a case that echoes the biblical call to holiness. The church can reach the world only if it keeps itself from being ensnared by the world. Hughes is not simply urging Christians to say no to worldliness—he is calling the church to say yes to Christ and to his call to reach our lost world.

The Real Deal Book on Cold Calling.......2007-08-12
I am one of those rare folks who enjoys cold calling but I picked up this book as a companion to Closing the Sale. This is an excellent read that can better you best results or turn around your cold calling (lack of) success. In short, this is the real deal.
With Keith by Your Side, Cold Calling Works!.......2007-08-09
Despite what some talking heads may say, cold calling works. I've read both the "anti-cold calling" books as well as Mr. Rosen's books, and I can say that the arguments clearly lean in Mr. Rosen's favor. The "never cold call again" groups really address similar stuff that Mr. Rosen does, which leads me to believe that their position is more a matter of savvy marketing, driven to sell books, rather than anything revolutionary.
With that said, cold calling doesn't work...that is, unless you have a method that provides you with measurable results. And that's precisely what Mr. Rosen's book gives you. The Complete Idiot's Guide to Cold Calling, is one of those essential books that never has a chance to rest on a shelf and collect dust.
In my experience, I was stuck. I had been cold calling for a couple of years and found myself in a telemarketing quandary. Mr. Rosen's book couldn't have come at a better time. He combines a precise, no-nonsense message with words that are easy on the eyes. His book is equal parts practical guide and motivational tool. I particularly appreciated the time he commits to the psychology of selling. The emphasis on process goals (a book he should write next) is a new look at the outcome-driven goals that many of us were taught to follow.
I read Mr. Rosen's book and committed time to completing his exercises and following his techniques. Two weeks later, I scheduled five qualified appointments. Why do I say "qualified"? Before I read his book, I focused on setting up the appointment. I'd meet with prospects, but after all the driving and time spent in an office, often, the only thing I had to show for my effort was a wrinkled shirt that required dry cleaning. Using Mr. Rosen's book as a guide, matters quickly turned around for me. I met with people that were ready to close because I qualified them over the phone. I wish I had his book three years ago. (To think of all the gas I would have saved!)
If you've doubted your skills, needed some fresh ideas, or are new to the cold calling process, buy The Complete Idiot's Guide to Cold Calling. Once you do, you'll soon have a book that has a worn down spine, pages loaded with Post-its, and a cover that refuses to stay shut--just like mine.
Idiot's Guide to Cold Calling Review.......2007-07-28
This is a good book for those who are just beginning their cold calling career. It provides good techniques as well as outlooks on the reasons for cold calling. I would recommend for any novice cold-caller just getting started. However, for those who loathe cold calling, but realize the necessity of it in their business, I would HIGHLY recommend Wendy Weiss's Cold Calling for Women.

the best cold calling book out there. Really changed how I view about cold calling. I hated it before. Was truly stuck and terrorized by the phone. Very easy to read.
A must read if you set sales appointments over the phone........2006-12-23
As a sales professional with over 20 years of sales experience I've read many books on various sales issues I can say this is one of the best and most useful. I'm always looking for fresh ideas and Keith Rosen has really done a fantastic job in covering all the aspects of cold calling. Compared to all of the other books on cold calling this is the best I've read.
Keith's approach to the call and the to the process itself are completely professional and teaches you how to be respectful to the person on the other end of the phone. If you follow the techniques that Keith outlines you will have better success in securing more quality appointments with more prospects.
Book Description
"Cold calling is the lowest percentage of sales call success. If you invest the same amount of time in reading this book as you do in cold calling, your success percentage and your income will skyrocket."
- Jeffrey Gitomer, Author, Little Red Book of Selling
"You can never get enough of a good thing! Read this book and USE its contents!"
- Anthony Parinello, Author, Selling to Vito and Stop Cold Calling Forever
Salespeople everywhere are learning the hard way that cold calling doesn't work anymore. Yet, millions of salespeople are stuck in the past, using twentieth-century sales techniques to try to lure twenty-first century customers. There has to be an easier way to find prospects - and there is. Today's most successful salespeople are using modern technology to bring prospects to them, rather than fishing for prospects over the phone or knocking on doors.
Never Cold Call Again offers practical, step-by-step alternatives to traditional cold calling for salespeople, small business owners, and independent professionals who are actively building a client base. The Information Age presents endless opportunities for finding leads without cold calling. In fact, Frank Rumbauskas’s system brings prospects to the salesperson, rather than the other way around. Readers will find unbeatable sales advice on effective self-promotion, generating endless leads, how to win prospects using e-mail, prospecting on the Web, networking, developing effective proposals, and much more.
Frank J. Rumbauskas Jr. (Phoenix, AZ) provides marketing consultation and coaching services to firms who wish to provide qualified leads to their sales force rather than have them spend productive work time cold calling. He is the author of the self-published hit Cold Calling Is a Waste of Time (0-9765163-0-6).

Boring!!.......2007-07-14
Really did't like it... For me it was boring and after spending so much time reading, it didn't had any valuable content. Basically it tells you that you have to keep calling as a way of prospecting but focuses on alternate ways of prospecting such as e-mail, flyers, newsletters, etc.
Competitors will eat your lunch if you don't Cold Call.......2007-07-11
I gave a $60,000 sales training order to a cold caller. Our company gave a $450,000 lease to a cold calling Commercial Real Estate Salesperson. Both had excellent cold calling skills, something that is missing in 90% of all cold callers. The 90% are setup for failure because of inadequate cold calling training.
I would love to compete with a company that does not believe in Cold Calling. "Cold calling is the least expensive, quickest, and most effective way to increase business".
The issue is not cold calling but "cold calling technique". Remember that "skill = knowledge + practice". Unfortunately most salespeople do not have the knowledge of how to effectively cold call, so naturally they fail and also have high fear and call reluctance. Ineffective cold calling is a sign of ineffective training.
While you can win sales without cold calling, the author has eliminated a tool that works for those who have the knowledge of how to cold call correctly. Don't fall for his trap.
