5 out of 5 stars Courtesy of Teens Read Too.......2007-05-31

In the last book in the A-LIST series (American Beauty: An A-List Novel (A-List #7)), the gang had finally graduated while discovering some juicy secrets. Cammie had discovered more information on what really happened to her mother. Sam was finally reunited with Eduardo, and Anna met Caine, who was nothing like her boyfriend, Ben. And Ben's dirty little secret wasn't a secret any longer.

The A-Listers are back again in HEART OF GLASS, and this time with a little twist.

Anna and Cammie have to work together - that's right, together - on a charity fashion show. But they got off easy, since this little community service project was the result of getting caught trespassing on a celebrity's estate. No worries, these two can work together, right?

Anna and Caine are getting a little closer, while Ben doesn't seem to worry so much. While Adam and Cammie are trying to make things work, we're hoping that opposites really do attract. Sam is still trying to adjust to living with Poppy, and maybe trying to get rid of her at the same time, while making sure nothing goes wrong with her and Eduardo. And Dee, well, she's Dee, trying to get back on her feet.

The gang is back and it's going to be one sizzling summer.

Eighth in the series, HEART OF GLASS is still filled with secrets, lies, and plenty of drama. The best thing about this series is that the material is never old and it still keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. The cast is still great and you just love Anna more and more after each book. Lets just say that HEART OF GLASS is more appealing than another episode of a certain teen drama on a new network - at least I'm experiencing something I haven't seen before!

I am crazy over this series ... i think that this book had to be the most mouth dropping one ... i almost feel like zoey can't write these books fast enough ... i feel like i can identify w/ every character on one level or another ... zoey dean delivers everytime you read one of her books

4 out of 5 stars Pretty Good..........2007-05-17

I've been following the A-List novels since they came out a few years ago. There were tons of these book series floating around--the rich, cliquey girls who seemed to be mean and exclusionary--there were the Gossip Girls, the Clique... you get my drift.

Of all the books of that sort, A-List was the one that caught my eye. I followed it religiously for a while, but I got to one particular book in the series and almost gave up on it. The name-dropping and overall snobbery frustrated me to the point that I almost didn't give a flying ice cream cone about Anna and Ben or Dee's increasing psychosis.

Dean has redeemed herself with this last one, though. The characters are proving to be much more dimensional than first thought, and although they still tend to get themselves into outrageous situations, they are handling them with class and the kind of assertiveness I wish I'd had as a teenager. I really enjoyed this last book and I am looking forward to the "next juicy A-List novel."

5 out of 5 stars Zoey Dean's best work yet!.......2007-07-28

Zoey Dean is at it again in her novel Tall Cool One as the fourth book in the A- List series. In this book, Anna goes on vacation to Las Casitas in Mexico to check out a resort that her father might buy. Back home Poppy, Sam's stepmother is getting ready for her baby, and her best friend Dee, becomes best friends with Poppy, agrivating Sam, so Sam goes to Las Casitas. There the two girls each meet a guy, but one day after drinking a very powerful drink, mescal, the girls get drunk and lost on the beach. Then a thunderstorm comes and the girls take shelter in an abandoned mansion, where they are awaken the the Mexican police getting ready to kill them, until Jackon Sharpe comes to save the day. In the end the girls get home and Anna is upset because her dad didn't come to look for her. In my opinion this was my favorite book in the series so far. Zoey Dean really keeps her readers interested with this book, and I would definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series to teen readers.

5 out of 5 stars LOVED IT!!!.......2006-07-19

I loved this book so much it teaches alot in 1 book!!!!! This book is 2 much 4 words...i just loved it!

4 out of 5 stars A-List 4: Tall Cool One.......2006-07-07

This book was very interesting, but not the best. First, I thought that Danny and Anna were gonna get together but he's in the beginning, and then he just disappears. Where did he go? I was also confused because this used to be kinda like a teenage soap opera and now this book was... a mystery in mexico. Different, but I should give Zoey Dean some credit for not writing the same old thing every book. But it was a great read, even though it was kinda different. The series is still awesome, and I still read the next book. So all is well, I'll just say it wasn't as great as the others.

5 out of 5 stars Finally, No Ben!.......2006-06-28

I was so happy! Finally obnixous Ben was gone! I loved when Sam and Anna got lost in the desert and found that house, but i also reallly wanted to know whos house it was. I loved how it wasn't all set in Beverly Hills and i loved all the descripiton. My favorite charcter was Lloyd because he was so werid. That drink that Sam and Anna drank that made them high is kind of like potscheen. ( Though i sure have never tried it.) I loved this book and you will too!

5 out of 5 stars Then again, its.............2006-06-27

I really loved this book, its awesome! Well, its mainly about Anna who is in a chic resort in Las Casita, Mexico. Sam, who tired of her step-mother's baby preparations, sneack off to join Anna. Back in Beverly Hills, Cammie and Adam take their relationship to a whole new level. Cammie is deeply falling in love with innocent Adam. Sam's step-mother, Poppy, finds a New Age sister, Sam's best friend Dee and asks her to live with the Sharpes. Anna's parents are considerating getting back together as they concern for Anna's sister, Susan, newly out of rehab. Back in Mexico, Anna is determined to learn how to surf. Sam is totally stressed out about school, boys and family. Sam tries to find a guy that likes her for who she is and not for her father. Anna & Sam meets a handsome guy name Eduado, who happens to be Sam's prince! Anna & Sam both meets guys who like them for who they are, and when they do... A trip to a small Mexican Village leads the girls to getting lost. They're in serious trouble, but luckily a group from home, jets down try and rescue them. Sam & Anna travels in a jet back home and just when Sam thinks she will never see Eduado again, he shows up and suprises her. It really is a "happily ever after" ending. I really can't wait until I read the 5th book, The A-List series are making me want to go farther than I expected. I think this is a excellent & determined book for everyone to read!

5 out of 5 stars Super third novel!.......2007-07-19

Zoey Dean is at it again, with her third book in the A- List Series. In this book Anna gets an internship with Clark Sheppard, Cammie's dad, after Margaret gets angry at her. Things are going great in the set, and Anna may be falling in love with another guy. Ben goes back to Princeton, worried that Anna will fall in love with another guy. Cammie, on the other hand, tries to destroy Anna's intership. Information is leaked to Hollywood tonight about the show, Hermosa Beach, and everyone believes it is Anna. Clark fires Anna for this and Mia, Cammie's new stepsister has had enough with Cammie and tells her stepfather, Clark, that it was Cammie, for which he takes away her credit cards and car. Clark offers Anna the job back, but does not apologize, so Anna turns him down, so she an work on her film with Sam.

1 out of 5 stars Parents BEWARE! Lots of sexual content........2006-07-10

These books are touted as "teen" books, but are highly sexual and completely inappropriate for young people. I read one just to keep up with what my 13-year-old stepdaughter is reading and could not believe that her mother allows her to read this trash. Passages where teens are kissing, then "moaning", then "moving on top of her" are common. This is adult material, not suitable for teens.

5 out of 5 stars A-List #3: Blonde Ambition.......2006-06-28

Once again, I am addicted to the A-List novels. I started reading it, then got bored, then picked it up again a few days later and read it all the way through. I loved it. This one had more action in it.
Okay, so Ben and Anna are together, and then Anna gets an interneship with Clark Sheppard, which is Cammie's dad. Cammie is really mad, and she tries to get revenge. She's also mad at Sam and Dee because they seem to be hanging out with Anna more, so she starts trying to get Adam from Sam but then when she kisses him she thinks there's something more.
Anna and Ben have problems too, when Ben doesn't go back to Princeton. Then, when he does she and Danny are together.
I wish Anna wouldn't do this. I mean, maybe Ben isn't best for her but she is being such a player.
Either way, I loved this book

5 out of 5 stars THE A-LIST DOES IT AGAIN!.......2006-06-27

The a-List yet again does not cease to amaze me! This book was a wonderful read and I thoought it was as good as the others! Anna and Ben are finally back togther, but what is up with ben's jealousy problem? Ben obviously can't stand to see Anna with another guy, and thats why he's put Princeton aside. Sam continues to be a good friend to Anna. But really, what is going on with the Cammie and Adam thing? Adam is such a great guy and Cammie is amazingly catty, can their relationship work? Or is it doomed to fail like all other hollywood relationships? Is Ben going beck to Princeton?ever? Is Anna going to grow tired of Ben and his jealous ways? Or will she stay by his side in the name of love? Read the book to find out!!!!

5 out of 5 stars I Loved it!.......2006-06-19

This was a great book! Ben really started annoying me because he was becoming so protective. I finshed this book in 2 days and i'm on " A-List" withdrawl right know. I l,oved all the new chartcters that evolved.

5 out of 5 stars Zoey Keeps It Going!.......2007-08-17

Zoey Dean keeps her story of the A- list going in American Beauty. In this book, the seniors on the A-list are graduating and that means hanging out with friends, and going to parties. Anna is in a car crash and her dad sends his new intern Caine to come help her. Anna becomes good friends with Caine. Also things with Ben aren't doing that well, and they get into a fight at a party. Cammie tries to find out more about her moms death and Sam helps her by meeting up with her mom from North Carolina. Sam finally gets Eduardo back and they agree never to kiss anyone again, other than those two. Everyone goes to a girl from another school, Stefanie, and they set her up to get revenge, for what she said about Sam in the past. In the end they graduate and Anna chooses to hang out with Caine instead of Ben. Zoey really keeps her readers interested in this series.

5 out of 5 stars So good.......2007-06-08

This is one of the best of the A-list novels. These books are so easy to relate to, and since I live in LA, I know every location that is talked about in the novel.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome!!.......2006-12-04

I loved this book! I read it in two days(and I'm a slow-reader)! I thought it was great, but somehow I don't like what happens to Anna and Ben. They weren't together while he was with Blythe, his mistake was not to tell her in the first place... but we'll see what happens to them in the next book! But it doesn't come out until April... we will have to wait a long time, but I hope it's worth it!!

4 out of 5 stars A-List 7: American Beauty.......2006-11-05

So... Cammie and Sam try to find out whether her father really killed her mother, Anna thinks something is wrong with Ben and happens to be absolutely right, and Jack and Dee have a great relationship... or so it seems.

The only reason I gave it four stars was because it seemed kind of... I don't know... lacking. I usually have fun seeing what kind of reckless stuff the people do but this book didn't really have much in the wild and reckless department. It was kind of serious, more serious than the others.

5 out of 5 stars The A-list, the guiltiest of guilty pleasures!!.......2006-10-16

I have read the A-list from the beginning and there is one main reason why it became one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Two Words: Sam Sharpe. This is my favorite character, I just love they way she developed, her approach to things, her cynicism that hides a very emotionally troubled young woman. She is the less cliched of all the four main characters (Anna...classy, prim and proper Hampton girl, yawn..., Cammie the uberbitch always on the verge of redeeming herself and Dee the real LosAngelino character, with all her ingenuity, incense sticks and sojourns in the loony bin). These stories, developments and characters are totally unreal, but hey people, this is FICTION! And meant to be FUN! The characters won't cover their heads in ashes, donate their money to the poor and join Mother Teresa's nuns...It is so exaggerated that it is fascinating for a European like yours truly...

Only CAVEAT: I would actually NOT recommend this book to teens, because many of them could mistake it for reality, or set their goals way over the top.

5 out of 5 stars Fun Great Summer Read.......2007-07-14

The A- List by Zoey Dean is a great novel about a teenage girl, Anna Percy, leaving her precious home in New York to change and live with her dad in Beverly Hills, California, to work an internship there. On the plane ride over she mets Ben Birnbaum, who brings her to a famous director's wedding and then out on a date at which he leaves her in the middle of the night. Also at the wedding where A- List members, Cammie Sheppard, Sam Sharpe, and Dee Young. Sam later befriends Anna and so does Dee, but Cammie is jealous because she loves Ben. Overall this book was a fun, fast read, and a great summer novel.

5 out of 5 stars The A-list.......2007-03-30

"Like oh my gosh Becky, look at that prada purse," in the area code of 90210 you'll find just about every girl saying that. Ana is a girl from New York that comes from a family in the six digit income. Ana is perfect, but when she's almost eighteen in her senior year she decides she wants to live off the edge like her best friend Cynthia. The day of New Years Eve Ana moves with her father to Beverly Hills to do an internship so she won't have to finish high school. Living on the edge, Ana manages to meet a hot guy named Ben on the plane. She becomes his guest to a famous actors wedding, and things start to go down hill. She's tortured by the actor's daughter Sam and her snoby, plastic surgery, and over the top friends who all happen to like Ben. That night Ben ditches her and when she doesn't get the internship she is stuck at Beverly Hills High School with Sam, Dee, and Cammie. When Ben tries to aoplogize she realizes the old Ana would jump into his arms, but the new Ana has changed. She is finally free. THIS BOOK WAS SO TOTALY AWESOME!! I reccomend it to any girl in grades 7 - 12. Thiis book is filled with humor, drama, and takes you into the life of the rich.

The A-list is filled with lots of humor. The girls in the 90210 area code are very halarious. Even if they're snobby........very snobby, their endless scemes never stop being filled with humor. Like when Cammie decided she was going to step on Ana's dress to embrarass her at the wedding because she came with Ben. Another funny part in the A-list was when Ana was on the plane and a older man was trying to hit on her, when Ben saved her the man became angry and when he spoted them lying to Sam about how they met he busted them in their lie being that he was there.

Of coure all the snobby, rich girls in Beverly Hill could not live without drama. All through out this book there is drama, drama, drama, over boys, boys, boys. The main boy in this book being Ben. The two of Sams friends, even herself have all been in love with Ben at some point of time, but neither of ther the other girls know about their secret love. More drama fumes when they find out he doesn't want them, he wants Ana.

In the A-list it takes you deep into the life of the rich. In the book known as the six didgit people. Almost every teenage girl in this book has had some kind of placstic surgery. They are also stuck in the worl of being thin. All of them have high class cars and luxury houses with pools and jacizzis in the backyard. They have personal designers come to their homes with trunks of clothing from stores like chanel, mark jacovs, and prada. The most important thing they do in the life of the rich is rank you based on your soscial ststus. The best one being the title of the book, The A-list.

Becky, did you think think this book was good or what?, like totally yea...of course. The a-list was amazing girly book. Any girly girl in grades 7-12 would really enjoy this. It was filled with lots of humor, drama, and gave you a small glimpse of how the rich people live.

5 out of 5 stars The A-List.......2007-03-30

Anna Percy leads a dull life that is strictly by the book. When her best friend Cyn starts going out with her crush Scott, Anna decides it is definitely time for a change. She catches the next flight to LA, California to live with her father in search for a new and improved life. She meets a guy named Ben on the flight to LA and starts to like him, thinking he is the start to her new and improved self. When Anna lands in LA her Dad is breaking promises just as soon as she gets there and Anna meets three not so nice girls. Sam, Cammie, and Dee don't exactly come off as the most friendly people. Anna soon discovers that her fairytale life in her head she planned on having is going to be a lot harder than she expected. The A- List was a very attention grabbing and entertaining book.

A part of this book that made it entertaining was the love "problems". In the story, Anna starts going out with a guy named Ben Birnbaum. It turns out almost every girl at Beverly Hills High is in love with him. Including Sam Sharpe, Cammie, and Dee- the girls Anna meets at Jackson Sharpe's(Sam's Father) wedding. Other guys at BHH like Anna besides Ben, so its one big love feud over Ben and Anna. It seems that Cammie and Ben had a former relationship, and Ben had a fling with Sam and Dee. Back in New York, where Anna used to live Anna fell for this guy named Scott. She didn't tell this to her best friend who soon starting going out with him. The entire thing was like a written soap opera, and very fun to read.

One element of the story that made this such a good book, was the main character, Anna. She was pretty much the only person in the story who acted like a real person. Unlike all of the other girls in the story who are conceited and all have the same shallow personality, Anna was different. In the story, when Anna comes to LA all of the girls are obsessed about the big-time movie stars and who looks the best etc. Anna, on the otherhand, is a bit more laid back and doesn't really care or know about that many movie stars. This is one of the reasons why Ben ends up liking Anna over Cammie.

Something about this story that makes it seem unreal is the very rich lifestyle of most of the characters in the story. Almost every character in the story- including the teenagers- have a bank account at least in the upper six digits. Most of the girls in this story are the type that eat caviar and walk around in high-heel stalettos. Samantha Sharpe's father, for example, has a twelve thousand square foot home. Everyone in the story has maids, waiters, waitresses, cooks, etc. Even though normal people are not that rich, this still made the story enjoyable.

The theme in this story was very inspirational(the theme I picked anyway). The theme was that if you try to re- invent your life some positive things will result from it. When Anna decided to start a new life as a different Anna, and she moved to LA, she met a guy named Ben she met on the plane who liked her. She also developed a semi- different attitude towards the Beverly Hills girls. She was more confident than she was back in New York and she was actually living her life. Overall, The A- List was a wonderful book. It was extremely fun and very hard to put down.

5 out of 5 stars Zoey 's back in her fifth book!.......2007-07-31

Zoey Dean is back in her fifth installment in the A- List Series. In this novel the A-listers go to Las Vegas as their end of the year senior trip, instead of Washington D.C. There everyone is having a fun time. Cammie and Adam are going good, Anna tries to reach Ben, but he never answers his phone. Sam is obsessing over Eduardo and Dee is going crazy of judaism and Ruby Hummingbird, Sam's stepsister. In Las Vegas everyone goes to a hypnosist show, where some of them reveal some deep secrets, which are later forgiven, and their vacation ends short when Dee is taken to a physciatric hospital after going crazy over Ruby and Poppy. While leaving Anna see's Ben and they both stay at the hotel. Zoey Dean's fifth was great. In fact this series has been really fun and interesting and I would definitely recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars It is a good book.......2007-01-02

I gave this book 5 stars because the storyline was great and the characters were very interesting. Every chapter that I read was leading up to the main reason of the story and that is what I like in reading a book. I wouldn't like to read about the present time and then the next page be a flashback. That is just too confusing.
The characters were very interesting. The character I liked most was Anna because she was most down-to-earth person than any other character in my opinion. The author did a very good job with this book.

5 out of 5 stars Great Story Line.......2006-11-09

I this book is pretty good because it's different than some of the different ones in the series. I like the fact that Anna is going to Las Vegas even though she wouldn't normaly choose to go there. For some reason I don't feel that Cammie really deserves Adam and in she is so mean about Anna. I don't like her but she makes the story more interesting.

5 out of 5 stars What better place for naughtyness than in Sin City??.......2006-07-20

This book was hot hot hot! The most popular A-listers at BHH are going on a trip to Sin City instead of that boring trip to Washington-Parker, Sam, Cammie, Adam, Dee and of course Ana. The six of them check in at Las Vegas' finest Palms Hotel. Cammie decides all the girls should have a catty fashion contest, but when Cammie herself doesnt come appropiately dressed things get a little wild...
Poor Parker is low on cash and is willing to do anything to get some cash fast, but what happens when his gambling reaches a dead end? On the other hand, Anna is running low on love. She seems lost and cant stop thinking about Ben, so she leaves him a voicemail inviting him to Sin City. But what happens when Cyn and Scott show up? Scott is looking amazingly hot and Cyn is unsure about their relationship, will Anna make a move?
And to top off the cake they all go to a hypnotist for fun.But is it all fun and games when they are forced to share their deepest secrets on stage??Cammie confesses something about Adam, Adam confesses something about Cammie, and Anna confesses something about Scott! Sam just lays back with her mouth wide open as she hears these deep revealing secrets. And what happens when they decide to watch the tape? Will all end well? Will there be new hook-ups or break-ups??
And the frosting on top of this cake is that who else but Ben shows up at the Palms just before they're about to leave. Fortunetly, Anna spots him and stops the limo. Unfortunetly, although they express their feelings for each other and cant wait to ravish each other, Ben has a secret- he has a girlfriend waiting for him to come back to her at Princeton. Will this newly revealed secret affect the magic between Ben and Anna?

5 out of 5 stars Amazing, interesting read!.......2007-08-06

Zoey Dean is back with her sixth book in the A- List series. In this book, it's Prom at the Beverly Hills High School and noone on the A- List goes, but when Sam hears about a film contest, and when Anna wants to go, she decides to go and make a video on the prom weenies b- listers. Also Anna gets jealous of a gorgeous junior staying at Ben's house for school, but she gets over it and she and her friends help for her prom. At Anna's prom everything goes a little too well and Sam decides not to release her film because she's to happy and was awarded prom queen. Cammie on the other hand a horrofying secret that her father had an affair with Sam's mother during the time of Cammie's mother's death. Zoey Dean is back with her probably best book so far in the series, leaving her fans dying to read the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and this series.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome details.......2006-10-31

I love all of Zoey Deans books because she uses so much description and detail. It's amazing. This book is great because it has mystery and it also has some unexpected things in it. I love how Maddie didn't really like Ben. I really love these books.I also recommend these to teenage girls.

5 out of 5 stars Loved It!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-08-11

This had to be the best A- List book. There was so much intriguy in it. It also was the longest A- List book. It was all set around prom and all the stress that goes into it. The new information that Cammie found out about her mother's death was scary, but it added a new twist. Also with Maddy and her crush on her math teacher. I have to admitt, It was kind of funny when Cammie found out that she burned down an LA landmark. I reccoamend this to everyone!

5 out of 5 stars A-List #6: Some Like it Hot.......2006-07-13

Welcome to Beverly Hills High School Prom.
This was boring in the beginning, but once it picks up you can't put it down. So good... worth the read.
Dee is getting better and saner than ever.
Anna and Ben's relationship is threatened by a new guest in Ben's house.
Cammie and Adam are fighting because Adam found out a strange secret about her mother.
Sam misses Eduardo and wonders how she can compete with all the other beautiful European women that he's around every single day, becoming jealous over nonexistant people.
This book has some awesome twists and I really enjoyed it.

4 out of 5 stars prom.......2006-06-16

It's that time of year... prom!!!
Anna and Ben are finally together, but will an attractive girl staying at the Birnbaum's mess with their relationship again?
Cammie and Adam are doing well, until Cammie finds out more about the night her mother died.
Sam is happy with where she's at with Eduardo, until he tells her that he won't be able to come to her prom... or can he?
Drama is abound once more in the juicy sixth book.

Seventeen year-old Upper East Side blueblood Anna ('pronounced Aaaanah') Percy has moved from posh Manhattan to the even more posh Beverly Hills, California, where she's living with her estranged dad for the rest of the school year while her mother travels to Europe with a friend. Girls on Film begins with Anna's feeling empowered after telling Ben to take a hike. He, however, continues to pursue her - refusing to go back to Princeton without a reconciliation. Anna's just not sure if she buys his New Year's cover story: that he was helping out a celebrity friend who nearly drank herself to death. Anna also bonds with Sam, and after mentioning Ben's New Year's alibi, the girls try to guess the identity of the mysterious alcoholic celebrity. 5 out of 5 stars Great Follow Up For The A- List.......2007-07-14

Girls on Film by Zoey Dean was another great novel. Zoey did a great job on the second novel in this series. In this novel Anna works with Sam Sharpe on a school project film on the Great Gatsby. During which so, Anna discovers her screen-writing talent. Susan, Anna's sister leaves rehab to come stay with her, but during her stay, Cammie convinces her to drink and she ends up going to a party drunk, but luckily Anna's new friend, Sam, helps her, by telling veryone it was for a movie. Anna also forgives Ben after what he did to her and they get back together. This was another great book by the bestselling author Zoey Dean

3 out of 5 stars The most boring out of the series.......2007-02-01

this one was extremly boring. zoey dean kept reapeating what her characters thought in their head, and dont you get tired of reading the same thing over and over again throughout an entire book?!?!

besides that, she left out one of my favorite characters. which is her dads hired driver for anna. anna described him as a "sexy handsome guy" and i always wanted them to somehow become friends. but in the third book he wasnt even in it.

the first two books were fantastic..this one just repeated itself too much for my liking.

also you can predict whats going to happen.

5 out of 5 stars # two is just as good!.......2006-08-22

Anna Percy is finally over Ben. (at least that's what she keeps telling herself...) Anna starts to really like Adam, a basketball star from Michigan. (Go blue!) She is just starting to let go of Ben and concentrate on her realshionship with Adam, when Ben makes a huge play to win her back. He puts balloons at her house, roses in her room, and even makes a surprise visit asking for her forgiveness. Anna keeps telling Ben (and herself!) that she is done with him, but she starts to wonder whether or not she really is. So, Anna decides to put her relashionship with Adam on hold to clear things up with Ben. After Ben tells her the truth about what happened on New Year's, Anna decides to forgive him. They finally, in the end, get back together again! Yay! Am I the only one that thinks they should be together?
Can't wait to read number three!

5 out of 5 stars The A-List #2: Girls on Film .......2006-06-20

I liked this book just as much as the first one, and I was so happy with the ending I could just die. It reminded me of another sequel I've read, but I just can't think.
Anyways, Susan came to Beverly Hills from rehab and now Cammie is trying to get at Anna by being friends with Susan, and Sam is very confused about her sexuality. Things between Anna and Adam are heating up, but Ben still isn't completely out of the picture.
There are so many twists in one little book, but now that I have the third book in the series I will pick up again right away!

3 out of 5 stars disappointed.......2006-06-16

Since the first book was sooooo good, I was excited to pick up the second one, only to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, just not as good as the rest. After her emotional night with Ben, Anna decides to go out with high school basketball star Adam. Their first date goes well, but Ben is still on Anna's mind, mainly because he's making a show of trying to get her back. The rest of the gang is along for all their problems.
