Close friend Asia,Becky and Erica are very interested when an adult store opens in there small town. The girls dare each other to go into the store and talk to the first man who interested their secret desire.
"Truth or Dare" is great sexy book by Lori Foster. Ms Foster does a great job linking the three story together. A great book for any fan of Ms. Foster.

I think Lori Foster is a very talented writer, whose wit and humor make her books a very enjoyable read. I also like books with very steamy love scenes and though Lori Foster's books always contain romance, they often seem tame to me when it comes to the midnight hours. This book, however, really delivers a punch when the starring couple finally reach the bedroom. Wow! These couples are very playful and passionate.

I'd like to add that although each story was short, I found the characters well drawn out.I immediately understood their choices and decisions, because of the history and background of each character that the author had described for me. Well Done!

I thought this was one story involving several characters, but it is 3 short stories. Very short. Too short to be realistic with the characters falling in love and getting married in unrealistic time. So if that doesn't bother you...

THE best EVER lesbian/questioning book I have read so far. You fall in love with the characters instantly and it is easy to find yourself lost in the beautiful love story of this book. I loved it so much and couldn't put it down, that I read it in one night. I first got it from the library near where I live and after reading it, I loved it so much that I simply HAD to buy it. Beautifully inspirational. You will never find a story quite as true and good as this one. Everything about it is absoltely BRILLIANT. A MUST READ for lesbian or questioning teens.

Dare Truth Or Promise took be no mroe than 2 days to read...I couldnt put it down. It touched me on so many levels; through the two girls meeting to their falling in love to every other aspect of the book. It was beautifully written and had me either smilijng or in tears for most of it depending on the part. well worht the money and deffinatly worth the time to read.

Buy this book! I'll make this short, because a lot of good has been said about the book anyway. I loved this book so much that I stayed up till 5am reading it! I couldn't put it down. Paula Boock shows that she is an excellent story-teller and writer. Her story is believable and the characters almost become real people. I absolutely loved this book! It's definitely one of my favorites now!! Such a good story! Read it nowwww!!

When I read the 'first kiss' quote on the main page for this book I knew I had to have it. Every single part of this book is perfect and so familiar. So much of it is exactly how things are with me and my girlfriend. The quote "it loved to happen" that is used throughout is so meaningful if you really stop and think about it. This book really pulls on your heart strings and the few ending parts had me crying so much I couldn't even read the last pages!! Only thing I'd complain about is that I didn't want it to end, I wish it was longer!

This is the very first romance novel I have ever read. The only thing I can say is that I am hooked. The book kept you mesmerized in the pages from beginning to end. Delilah Dawson reading knows how to choose the right words...and boy did she choose them. I could read this book a thousand times. Hot and and romantic cant explain explain it...nor can perfect fantasy and pure desire....you just have to read it...you will understand.

This is the first time I have read a book from Ms Dawson. I thought it was a good read, and it kept my attention from the beginning to the end. I have not played the game Truth or Dare in quite some time so this book brought back some memories, good of course. I would purchase another book from Ms. Dawson in a heart beat.

I love this book! I have read it two and a half times already.(The part with the spelling is worth the price of the book alone - Just don't read it while your home alone. Get a partner)This book teeters on the thin line between a sensuous romance and an erotic romance (It stays on the side of sensuous though, there was no graphic language.). It was cute, fun, and very very sexy. She explains why the characters would hop into bed so quickly, and when she is not teasing us with huge amounts of sexual tension she is fulfulling us with hot steamy sex. And best of all it was a romance so you saw the characters falling for each other and craved the HEA, the whole purpose for picking up a romance.
I first read Delilah Dawson in Mr. Satisfaction. Her writing captivated me so, I had to find what else she wrote. Thank God she didn't dissappoint. As long as she keeps writing high amounts of tension and hero and heroines you love, I will keep buying.

After "Light in Shadow" I had hoped this would have more mystery and substance and romance, but it was light on all three. If this is the first JAK book a reader has picked up, they will surely be disappointed. I picked this up used and cheap at a local bookstore so it was even less than a paperback. I enjoyed the humor and subplots and "sub" romances but felt too many storylines made for lack of the usual detail and suspense in other JAK books.

This is good for light summer reading and some fun. These characters, Zoe, Arcadia, Ethan, et al are better defined in the "prequel" and this time some of their motives seem strange. I did enjoy getting to know Singleton Cobb a bit better but other than his character the rest were shallow unless you had read the previous book. I'm not going to describe the plot as there are several but enjoy!

I had never heard of this author before and picked this book on cd up at the library. It moved at a snails pace, the book jacket made it sound like an inriuging mystery - but more time is spent on analyzing every last detail amongst the characters - finally when something does happen by the 8th cd - its anticlimactic. And althought he main character continually talks about being psychic - she never once has a premonition, other than feeling "spiderwebs" when she walks in a room. I couldn't wait for this book to end, and I will probably never pick up another book by this author, even though other reviewers say she writes good books. I kept wondering if it would be better, if someone who was not monotone was doing the reading on the cd. That didn't help matters.

Another enjoyable JAK novel. She knows how to interweave the scenes of everyday life, including some intriguing subplots. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. It may not be the most intellectual read, but it is definitely a fun time!

I love JAK and have read quite a few but the sequel to Light in Shadow is not as good as the usual Jayne Ann Krentz books. Somehow Truth or Dare lacks the "suspense" and romance that is usually in her books. Ethan Traux is good as the Private Investigator and "strong" guy. Zoe Luce as the psychic didn't do so well. Ethan and Zoe solve the mystery and save Arcadia Ames but the book lacks the pace. A one time read for me.

Another great resource from Mark & Youth Specialities. Great follow-up to the first book!

Lessons are interactive and interesting - Mark has the ability to bring the truth to this age group in such a non-threatening, age appropriate way. All of the activities, games and lessons layer upon each other and really allow the students to learn from each other as much as they learn from you. The "wild truth" is this is the kind of teaching that is retained and incorporated into your students lives and belief system in a way that lectures and indoctrinating will never accomplish.

This is such a repetition of the first book, I'm not sure why they came out with a sequel. And the first one wasn't that effective. After trying it, I decided not to use Oesteicher's books.

My gosh! It's him! It's my ex-boss!.......2005-09-27

My gosh! It's him! It's as if I am reading about my ex-boss! This is an in-depth study with strategies on how to counter a narcissist. He once told me, "Your priority is to make me look good." My ex-boss is self-absorbed, has no strategy, micro-manages his employees, manages up very well, has to always be right, behaves in an erratic and confusing fashion (says stuff like, "I knew you would fail at that project when I gave it to you" to our team when a project appeared to be failing...which he never participated in or gave a clear goal for, BTW.)

It is clear that I worked for someone who is a form of white collar socio-path (think: Enron). I bought 4 of these for colleagues who still work with him, and one for HR....wish I had had this several months ago. I finally bailed...at a high cost, but at least I am no longer under his thumb, a minion forced to worship at his ego-altar.

I did do a strategy found in this book: the end run. I reported him to the company Ethics office after I got away from him and the investigation was worth the risk. They are at least now aware of his divisiveness.

I highly recommend this to anyone who works for a confusing boss that is not a team player, offers no strategy for his own team, does not fully communicate his plans, withholds information (sometimes key), has always got to be right, and assigns meaningless work just to make himself look good (e.g., has you create presentations that may have little to do with your function, that he then presents to his up-line without ever informing you, and after making sure he understands all the details so that he can look as if he did the presentation himself). If you have a check mark by most of the above, then you need this book. My best advice is to get away from a narcissistic boss, especially if you are an honest person who just tries to do the right thing and does not play the office political games very well.

This is a brilliant book if you work under a person (or people) who make you feel that you can't do anything right. If you have worked for many years with very isolated or no problems at all and the bosses change, turning your working environment upside-down, using moral blackmail to ram you into a corner, read this and then decide if it is really YOU who's metamorphosized or if it's merely some 'special breed' of ego-trip boss who will eventually, with a bit of luck, make himself so unpopular he's sent off to a remote spot in Patagonia, at which point you can return to business as usual and feel like a normal person again.

Narcissists in Positions of Authority.......2001-02-23

Many leaders - in politics, business, religion, community - are pathological or malignant narcissists. But, maybe surprisingly to some, not all of them. Consider politics. The preponderance of narcissistic traits and personalities in politics is much less than in show business, for instance. Moreover, while show business is concerned essentially (and almost exclusively) with the securing of narcissistic supply - politics is a much more complex and multi-faceted activity. Rather, narcissism in politics is a spectrum. At the one end, we find the 'actors' - politicians who regard politics as their venue and their conduit, an extended theatre with their constituency as an audience. At the other extreme, we find self-effacing and schizoid (crowd-hating) technocrats. Most politicians are in the middle: somewhat self-enamoured, opportunistic and seeking modest doses of narcissistic supply - but mostly concerned with perks, self-preservation and the exercise of power. Most narcissists are ruthless opportunists. But not all opportunistic and ruthless operators are narcissists. This book is a good introduction to narcissists in positions of leadership and to the pernicious effects of their disordered personalities. Yet, all such tomes suffer from a major - and, to my mind, iredeemable, drawback. I am strongly opposed to remote diagnosis. I think it is a bad habit, exercised by charlatans and dilettantes (even if their names are followed by a Psy.D.). Only a qualified mental health diagnostician can determine whether someone suffers from NPD and this, following lengthy tests and personal interviews. Moreover, often, politicians are nothing but a loyal reflection of their milieu, their culture, their society and their times (zeitgeist and leitkultur - the Germans have words for such things). This is the thesis of Daniel Goldhagen in 'Hitler's Willing Executioners'. Lasch, for instance characterized America as narcissistic (in, among others, 'The Culture of Narcissism'). Read cautiously. Sam Vaknin, author of 'Malignant Self Love - Narcissism Revisited'.

Like most Craft books, unless you're willing to do the exercises, it won't do you any good. This is not a good first book on Wicca. Spiral Dance is, in fact if I ran a coven it would be on my must-read-to-join list. This book is also not helpful for people who haven't done a lot of group work, because it asks you to examine your place within your coven/circle etc.

So in conclusion, if you aren't sure you want to really make changes in your life or spend a lot of time working on your spiritual path, this book will sit on your shelf and collect dust. However, if you are ready to do some real magick on yourself, this book is a powerful tool for change.

Life-Changng Feminist Text.......2004-08-05

This breathtaking book is essential reading for anyone interested in dismantling the patriarchy, healing the earth, linking radical politics with spirituality and liberating themselves from domination. It is an empowering text that will inspire you to change your life and to change your world.

Prejudicial feminism at its worst........2004-02-24

Truth or Dare is more of a prejudicial feminist hate piece about men than it is about Wicca or paganism. For example, chapter 2 provides us with feminist revisionist history, with a catch. Starhawk goes on about how ancient men were conscripted into armies and dehumanized or killed, and then concludes with "and that's how women have been oppressed by patriarchy. I read that chapter conclusion and said "huh?" what did I just read. There is nothing in the chapter to support her prejudicial conclusion, in fact the reverse is supported. Every chapter seems to out-prejudice the preceding one. The text is deceptive. It seems to be positive but has an undercurrent of misandry. After each chapter I found that I was angry at the misandry I had read and would take a week to cool down before trying to read the next chapter. After 5 or 6 chapters I figured out that I really didn't like it on a deep emotional basis and stopped reading. Men hating feminist pagans all love it because it supports and encourages their misandry.

An excellent resource for group facilitation.......2002-05-19

This book is an excellent resource for group facilitation -- it's been invaluable to me in the groups I work with. There is a wealth of information on group dynamics, dealing with conflict, structure and group agreements, interspersed with Middle Eastern myth and some beautiful poetry. As you might expect, Starhawk has included many exercises and questions to work through with your group -- helping you build the kind of group that will be nourishing and effective. This is a book I find in the library of many successful priestesses -- it makes a great companion to Amber K's "Covencraft" and Judy Harrow's "Wicca Covens." Still, if I had to have only one of the three, it would be this book, hands down.

A great book for group work, and intermediate witches.......2001-04-08

I wouldn't recommend this book as a manual for absolute beginners - that's what her other book, The Spiral Dance, was for. However, if you are somewhat well-versed in the practice of the Craft, and are looking for ideas for group work, this is a fabulous book. Written by a master of coven work, Truth or Dare takes bold, assertive steps in showing the reader how to form consciousness-raising groups, lead meditations, and organize spiritual groups, and is full of feminist poetry (with a beautiful retelling of the descent of Innana), trance work, stories of spiritual/political activism, and plenty of inspiration for your own work. Again, to get the most out of this book, it's best to be at least at the intermediate level. And, if you're looking to start a group, but don't quite know how, this is a great book to start with.

Stephanie and her friends are in summer camp and they think it's going to be great! but then they find out that the flawmingos are there to! isn't it weird that every camp Stephanie goes to she mets Rene there! not that thats good or anything, but it makes a good story line, but Stephanie isn't that worried after she mets Luke. Then Rene tells her that Luke has a bad past, Stephanie doesent belive her- at first, but, could it be true?

I really liked this book. It was about Stephanie and her friends at camp sail-away. She met her boyfriend out on the water. He was water skiing and the wave he created knocked her boat over. He came over to see if she was ok and one thing led to another. I would recommend this book because it was cool, exciting and you never know what would happen next.
