Book Description
A big part of figuring out how to stay clean and sober is learning how other people manage to do it. That's exactly why the Big Book, "Alcoholics Anonymous", was written way back in 1939. A small group of alcoholics thought that maybe they could help each other - and help other alcoholics - by sharing their own stories about the disease and how they overcame it. It turns our that a lot of the stuff they wrote about back then holds true for alcoholics and addicts today.

Inspiration for many.......2007-07-30
I work in a substance abuse treatment center, and I have found that people that started drinking or using when they were young relate to this book easily. It puts things in simple terms and uses real stories to portray the points. I feel the language is foul at times, but the author does use it to make a point and relate to younger people. I'm buying this book for my father who has been sober for 15 years through AA, and is still working the program "one day at a time."
Here is how it Works........2007-03-15
1. The Twelve Steps do not work as a program of recovery from drug or alcohol problems.
o The A.A. failure rate ranges from 95% to 100%. Sometimes, the A.A. success rate is actually less than zero, which means that A.A. indoctrination is positively harmful to people, and prevents recovery. Some tests have shown that even receiving no treatment at all for alcoholism is much better than receiving A.A. treatment:
o One of the most enthusiastic boosters of Alcoholics Anonymous, Professor George Vaillant of Harvard University, who is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. (AAWS), showed by his own 8 years of testing of A.A. that A.A. was worse than useless -- that it didn't help the alcoholics any more than no treatment at all, and it had the highest death rate of any treatment program tested -- a death rate that Professor Vaillant himself described as "appalling". While trying to prove that A.A. treatment works, Professor Vaillant actually proved that A.A. kills. After 8 years of A.A. treatment, the score with Dr. Vaillant's first 100 alcoholic patients was: 5 sober, 29 dead, and 66 still drinking.
(Nevertheless, Vaillant is still a Trustee of Alcoholics Anonymous, and he still wants to send all alcoholics to A.A. anyway, to "get an attitude change by confessing their sins to a high-status healer." That is cult religion, not a treatment program for alcoholism.)
o The A.A. dropout rate is terrible. Most people who come to A.A. looking for help in quitting drinking are appalled by the narrow-minded atmosphere of fundamentalist religion and faith-healing. The A.A. meeting room has a revolving door. The therapists, judges, and parole officers (many of whom are themselves hidden members of A.A. or N.A.) continually send new people to A.A., but those newcomers vote with their feet once they see what A.A. really is. Even A.A.'s own triennial surveys, conducted by the A.A. headquarters (the GSO), say that:
X 81% of the newcomers are gone within 30 days,
X 90% are gone in 3 months, and
X 95% are gone at the end of a year.
That automatically gives A.A. a failure rate of at least 95%. But the GSO does not count all of those people who only attend a few meetings before quitting -- they don't qualify as "members". (That amounts to "cherry-picking".) If we included them, then the numbers would be much worse.
And also note that the claimed five percent of A.A. newcomers who are still left after one year is exactly the same number as the usual rate of spontaneous remission among alcoholics -- five percent per year. That is, in any randomly-selected population of alcoholics, approximately five percent per year will finally get sick and tired of being sick and tired, and they will just quit drinking. And the Harvard Medical School says that 80% of those successful quitters do it by themselves, alone, without any "treatment program" or any "support group".
If we subtract the normal spontaneous remission rate for alcoholism of five percent per year from A.A.'s claimed success rate of five percent, we get zero for A.A.'s real effective cure rate.
A.A. does not actually make anybody quit drinking; it just takes the credit for the people who were going to quit anyway. A.A. is just taking the credit for peoples' efforts to save their own lives.
o The Twelve Steps are actually a hopelessly bad program for recovery:
X Cult religion is not a good cure for alcoholism, and A.A. most assuredly is a cult religion.
X One of the biggest problems with the Twelve-Step program is the learned helplessness caused by the First Step, where people are taught to confess that they are "powerless over alcohol." This leads many people to believe that once they have a drink, that a full-blown relapse and total loss of self-control is inevitable and unavoidable. So some people go on suicidally-intense binges, thinking that it is pointless to try to resist temptation.2 --
X Step Two is just as bad: it teaches people that they are insane, and that only a Supernatural Being can restore them to sanity -- which means that they are helpless, and cannot heal themselves.
X Then Step Three teaches a lifestyle of infantile narcissism and passive dependency, where A.A. members turn control of their wills and their lives over to "the care of God as we understood Him", and then they expect God to take care of them and run their lives for them, and solve all their problems, and wait on them hand and foot, and do all of the hard work for them from then on...
"Let Go And Let God"
is their official motto, their lifestyle, and their approach to problem-solving.
X Then Steps Four through Ten induce guilt in the members by forcing members to make lists of all of their sins and flaws, and "defects of character" and "moral shortcomings", and confess every intimate dirty little secret to another A.A. member who isn't even ordained clergy, or even sworn to secrecy.
X In Step Eleven you are supposed to "channel" God and receive psychic work orders and power.
X Then Step Twelve tells you to go recruiting, to draft more alcoholics into this madness.
o There is also experimental evidence that the A.A. teachings about powerlessness lead to binge drinking. In a controlled study of A.A.'s effectiveness, court-mandated offenders who had been sent to A.A. for several months were engaging in five times as much binge drinking as the no-treatment control group which got no A.A. "help".
o A.A. boosters and propagandists constantly repeat the Big Lie that A.A. works great, and A.A. with its Twelve Steps is the way that everybody recovers:

I can't find quality skip counting music.......2007-04-26
I am a second grade teacher, and I'm introducing multiplication. I have been searching for a math cassette or CD to help make learning multiplication fun. At this stage I am more interested in the kids learning to count by 2s, 3s,...12s, and making the connection that way. I am looking for music that includes skip counting. Does this cassette include this, and not just times tables? I previously purchased a CD that sang random times tables, and it lacked quality. I don't want to get burned again.
Why Didn't I Buy It Before!?!?!.......2007-03-14
Great! My kids are finally learning the multiplications facts!!!!!!!!!
Some times I find myself singing them too!
It worked, not as planned, but worked.......2006-07-24
I bought this CD for my 9 year old nephew and I have to be honest that he hated it. BUT it still worked, I told him to learn them and we'd quit listening to the CD and he learned at lightening speed just to get away from it. The tunes can be a little folksy but I thought it was a good way to learn and it does stick in your head.
The BEST one!.......2006-03-26
I bought several Multiplication CD's and this was absolutely the best one. It includes skip counting which really has helped my daughter learn her multiplication facts. Buy this one!
Great for Kids!.......2005-08-02
My child has a processing disorder which make math extremely difficult. She has always been able to learn song lyrics easily, and this CD was no exception. Kids in 2nd grade can get a great start to 3rd grade math by learning to count by multiples of numbers 2 through 12. I would definitely recommend to all kids, especially those who like music, but not learning basic multiplication.

How to Solve Word Problems in Algebra, (Proven Techniques from an Expert)
ASIN: 0962781576 |
Book Description
A fun little book which contains no exercises but rather simply explains the concepts, strategies, and vocabulary of algebra. What are polynomials and why do I care? What's a quadratic equation and how do I solve it? How do you multiply polynomials? What is the slope of a line? What are functions? The language is clear and often amusing. The authors assume the reader has no knowledge of algebra, and also assume he or she has forgotten how to multiply fractions and other preliminary processes. Not a stand-alone text, but a book to read on a Saturday afternoon before taking your first algebra class, it touches nearly all the concepts of a first year course. It has been used and praised by eighth grade students as well as college students. A wonderful refresher before taking a college entrance exam or graduate admissions test.

Algebra Unplugged is Over-rated.......2007-04-28
If you are having a difficult time understanding algebra, this is not the book for you. It is a cute book, but when it comes to really understanding algebra you need more examples and practice. Purchase a book with alot of problems that you can work out.
Best learning tool ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-03-21
This is the single most best learning book for math that i ever read. I am starting collage and math is a requirement for my major. I have been out of school for 20 years and my math was very rusty. This book goes into great detail on the why and how too of everything in algebra. Anyone who doesn`t know anything about algebra if he or she was given this book will have a great understanding of algebra. if you have a son or daughter and wish them to learn algebra this is the book for you/them. It is a book that uses word instead of usless/vague examples that teach you nothing. only after the auther fully explains why something is done a math example is shown to put it into context. I hope they make a book on geometry and trig. i bought their book on calculus. I wish that all math books had more text instead of usless math examples. and teachers that understood that explanation of a problem instead of trial and error is a much better aproach. I would have given this book 1,000 stars if possible.I will always be gratefull to the authors of this book. Thank you very much for your hard work and understanding. Over all if you want a strong understanding of algebra buy this book!!!!!!!!!!!!
Math for Readers.......2006-01-23
If you have a daughter who loves to read but hates math, BUY HER THIS BOOK. She will soon be laughing instead of crying over her math homework, and she'll understand not just how to do math but why the rules work.
A pleasure to read and excellent introduction to algebra.......2004-05-03
Kenn Amdahl has succeeded in making algebra look like a game and maybe he is right.
I recommend this book to anybody who has the slightest interest in the subject. It reads almost like listening to your mathematically inclined buddy exchanging a few words on mathematics over a beer; that's what I felt, two buddies getting together and just shooting breeze over mathematics.
It certainly made me conscious of paying more attention to VOCABULARY and CONCEPTS and less on manipulation.
You won't regret the time you spent on this book nor the money!
FANTASTIC BOOK ON ALGEBRA!!!!!!.......2003-09-11
THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS ON ALGEBRA CONCEPTS THAT THERE IS ON THE MARKET. I AM OVER 60 YRS. OLD AND WANTED TO STUDY ALGEBRA. I ONLY WISH THERE EXISTED MATH TEACHERS WITH THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CONCEPTS AS CAN THESE GENTELMEN. WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent, greatly enjoyable!.......2004-12-13
Great book. Beautifully written, clearly explained, and well organized. I even liked the figures which had a uniform pleasant look unlike a lot of the Internet and computer related books. I have bought and thrown away many books written about the Internet protocols so this book was a breath of fresh air. Instead of cutting and pasting bunch of stuff available in various places, this author actually really presented the subject in a cohesive manner. You can tell he knows his stuff and he took the time to present it.
This book is not only a great way to learn about mobile IP but to learn about security, IP in general, etc. If you already know a little about those topics, this book will be easy to read and it will even give you new insights in those areas. If you never knew what a MAC or link address was or how TCP/IP worked this book might be a miss for you.
This book joins the list of great books like Stevens' "TCP/IP Illustrated" or Seifert's "The Switch Book."
Mobile IP and a great IP network introduction.......2002-12-24
I found this book useful as my introduction to IP network communications (network layer). My background is not in networks but I was able to pick up this book and learn about; Routers, IP addresses and their assignments, Tunneling, Encapsulation, TCP/IP, Security issues, and Mobile IP to the extent that I understand the steps involved when a Mobile IP node moves from one link to another.
I have read many technical books/papers and most most of them clutter and disjoint ideas. Not this book. This book is methodical, orderly, clear and written in plain English. I think you will like it.
As an additional bonus, the book spends some time (10 pages) with an overview of TCP and explains why TCP works better over land lines than wireless media. There is a discussion of the problems processing real-time data over IP and proposes solutions.
I am an average reader and it took me approximately 30 hours to read the 300 pages over a period of five weeks. The book leaves out detail but references the IETF papers for the interested reader. The book had NO word "misspells" nor sentence "misspeaks". (I always notice those things.) There are great diagram sketches for example discussions.
The author was the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) co-chair of the Mobile IP working group and led the group to a deployable solution. The book explains that because he was involved since 1994 he understands the trade-offs and issues.
WOW, this book exlains datacom, not just the mobile IP.......2002-03-07
Yes, this book is for the beginners or intermediates at best. But that is enough, since if I am going to write code for a product, no book is good enough, that is why we have standards.
I have never gone through a book so fast ever (8 hours for the stuff that I needed to know), well this is an interesting topic and also the book is quite easy to understand also, so that helped.
I never understood the OSI reference model so well including the famous book from William Stallings on datacomm, the author's description on the OSI reference model is right on and very practical. Read multiple books on datacom and no one explains what is proxy and gratuitous ARP like Solomon.
Mobile IP in itself is not a very deep subject and that is why the author develops it slowly and ends it with security and applications. Towards the end, the book does get a little advanced with the applications that mobile IP supports.
I do get a feeling that the author is more or less dumping his knowledge that he has acquired from chairing the mobile IP development comittee.
This is what the author is attempting to do:
1. Prepares the reader for mobile IP with OSI layers.
2. Why Mobile IP: with good justifications.
3. How Mobile IP: again with good explainations.
4. security
5. applications
Very satisfied.

Book Description
The time has come for a frank discussion about how we die. Unplugged is the blueprint for that talk.
Medical technology has helped mankind conquer tuberculosis, polio, and countless other once certain-death diseases. It has given us hope against cancer and AIDS, allowed heart and brain surgeries that have saved untold numbers of lives, and delivered us from the pain and crippling legacy of injury. Medical technology, it seems, is a never-ending string of miracles. But it is also a double-edged sword. More often than not, death today happens because of a decision to stop doing something, or to not do it at all. As the tragic life and death of Terri Schiavo so poignantly illustrated, universal definitions of life, death, nature, and many other concepts are elusive at best. Unplugged addresses the fundamental questions of the right-to-die debate, and discusses how the medical advances that bring so much hope and healing have also helped to create today's dilemma.
This compelling book explores recent high-profile cases, including that of Mrs. Schiavo, and illuminates the complex legal, ethical, medical, and deeply personal issues of a debate that ultimately affects us all. Compassionate and beautifully written, the book helps readers understand the implications of current laws and proposed legislation, various medical options (including hospice), and the typical end-of-life decisions we all must face in order to make informed decisions for ourselves and our loved ones.
Customer Reviews:
A Must Read.......2007-02-21
If you have read William Colby's book Nancy Cruzan, The Long Goodbye, you will find his latest book equally informative. Mr. Colby provides an excellent medical history that has brought us to our current debate about killing vs. allowing individuals to die. He shares recent cases and offers insight to both sides of the issue. This book should be read by anyone who has been faced with making end-of-life care decisions and by all who want to ensure that their end-of-life care is clearly understood.
unplugged: reclaiming our right to die in america.......2006-10-05
unplugged delves into timely and essential subject matter with an entertaining, informative, wondrful style of writing. colby's insight to this pertinent topic is beneficial universally, as we all must confront these circumstances at some point in our lives.
The right-to-die debate is once again tackled.......2006-08-07
The right-to-die debate is once again tackled; this time by a lawyer who represented Nancy Cruzan in the first right- to-die case heard by the Supreme Court. While Nancy Cruzan's struggles were chronicled in a prior book by Colby, Unplugged: Reclaiming Our Right To Die In America offers a broader perspective on the topic, moving beyond Cruzan's struggle to offer answers to legal, ethical, medical and personal issues involved in the debate. Court records, interviews and the authors' own experiences lend to the discussion of current laws, proposed changes, and their effects on society.
A Book for Everyone.......2006-07-08
"Unplugged" is a book everyone who is going to die should read. It tells you what you need to do to make sure your wishes are respected when it comes to end-of-life decisions. Doing that will spare your loved ones unnecessary anguish. This book, believe it or not, is an engaging page turner and my 90-year-old mother just read it. We took its advice, talked about her wishes, and she now has a notarized health care power-of-attorney, giving us both much peace of mind. All this thanks to Colby's wonderfully written, timely, important book.

MPA STUDENT.......2006-11-10
The book is a great resource for those unfamilliar to the realm of statistics. The author puts complex words and/or terms into easy to comprehend words.
I would recomnd this book, if you have a deep fear of statistics.
Great introductory textbook -- also great for review or supplement.......2006-10-02
This book does the best job of any book I've seen of introducing introductory statistical concepts. This book will give you the foundation upon which to build your statistical repertoire.
Caldwell breaks everything down into the simplest of explanations and then draws the pieces together into a cohesive conceptual framework. She even tells you when future concepts will rely on a concept in the current chapter, advising you when you need a deeper understanding in order to learn the next step. In this way, you know what is expected -- when to review and when to move forward.
I recommend this book as a supplement to a more comprehensive intro book. While other books give you more comprehensive details, this book gives you the conceptual framework which is required to truly excel at quantitative analysis. If you are struggling in statistics, have a need to truly excel, or need a review before moving on to more advanced statistics, this is the best book -- by far -- available today.
Bravo!.......2006-05-09
Well done, Professor Caldwell!
This is an excellent book. As a faculty member of a medical school, it is a challenge to explain the statistics we employ to our medical students in a clear and cogent manner. This book makes it appear so easy! I would highly recommend it to students taking statistics for the first time, to those needing a refresher, and to teachers in search of simple explanations of complex issues.
A mean album that's very much à la mode, reviewed by me, dean. (median).......2005-07-12
Sally Caldwell has always enjoyed a tempestuous relationship with author and Algebra biographer Kenn Amdahl, and there are allusions to that relationship in the cover notes of this stunning album from one of the most enigmatic bands of the last century, Statistics. Back in the 70's, you were either a Blurred fan, or a Oascissor Sisters fan, and that analogy can be applied to Statistics and their archrivals Algebra. Statistics fans, or "nerds", as they christened themselves, hated Algebra, and their fans ("geeks"), rivalries often spilling over into chanting, violence, and bottle throwing at concerts. Caldwell cheekily refers to Amdahl as a "nuisance parameter" in her detailed sleeve notes - a jibe that will surely have recriminations, although not on the same scale as those involving Tupac Shaker, this reviewer hopes.
There are several stand-out tracks on this album, including "Chi Squared", "The Statistic T", and the haunting "Correlation Coefficient", with its normal distribution of panpipes.
"Sum of Squares", played on an Unbiased Estimate of trumpets is the Confounding Factor on this album.
Take the F test and buy this album today. A sampling distribution shows the average deviation of the cost of this album to be a measly 2 dollars 14 cents!
Excellent work.
Good book for beginners.......2004-01-25
This book is a very good work for beginners in Statistics. It gives a clear picture of the fundamentals and a good explanation for the formulas. Though this book doesnt have too much of math, it gives you a feel of what statistics is all about. I would recommend this book for people who are taking statistics for the first time or for people who have tough time following the math notations sometimes. The author does a good job by explaining all the concepts with examples. Well done.

Quick, practical, innovative approach to CRM.......2004-05-23
This book provides thought-provoking and practical advice about how to drive sustainable business impact from customer-facing initiatives. The advice is based on a careful blend of well know frameworks from leaders like Professor Michael Porter and years of experience from the authors and leading corporations. The descriptions of how to use CRM to increase competitive advantage and improve profitability are particularly intriguing, as they elevate CRM from a business initiatve to a business imperative.
The authors have included plenty of examples of real world successes and failures, and hence keep the book rooted in practical and actionable guidelines. I highly recommend this book for CRM novices and experts and for technical and business professionals, as there is important advice in here for everyone.
Customer Strategy "How To".......2004-05-01
Don't let the title scare you, this is book is all about customer strategy--a "how to" book on effectively implementing customer relationship management. Relying on their experience, Bligh and Turk demonstrate how CRM SHOULD be executed--using a customer demand-driven approach. They include some amazing real-world examples from Fortune 500 companies including Dell, Wal-Mart and Pepsi to deliver this point--CRM initives implemented the right way are essential to the success of a business. Failures are covered too as learning opportunities. Chapter 2 has a case study about how Halloween 1999 was Hershey's scariest ever, a fantastic example. Each chapter ends with a "Key Points" summary to make reading easier and quickly review the material. If you think CRM is just software, pick up "CRM Unplugged", it should help change your perception.

Customer Reviews:
Some good, some a bit lacking, but all fun to play........2001-06-12
This was the first Tori book I bought and I was not at all disappointed. First of all, the songs included are Cornflake Girl, Blood Roses, Silent All These Years, Icicle, Caught A Lite Sneeze, Over The Rainbow, Hey Jupiter, and In The Springtime Of His Voodoo. The transcriptions of Over The Rainbow, Cornflake Girl, Caught A Lite Sneeze, Hey Jupiter, and Icicle are absolutely superb. Although many people disagree with the practice of putting the melody into the accompaniment, as a pianist who cannot sing, I am thankful for it -- all of the songs other than Hey Jupiter double as piano solos for those of us who don't want to desecrate Tori's songs by trying to sing them. ;) On the other hand, In The Springtime Of His Voodoo is just about unbearable with its piano lines stripped down to, at most times, one or two notes and doesn't come close to the LP recording. The other songs are all moderately well-done. I would recommend this book on the whole, however, as the rhythms are great and flow nicely and the songs are definitely fun to play, especially if you can find someone to sing with you. I'm not at all sorry I bought it.
I LOVE TORI.......1999-07-17
ANYTHING SHE DOES IS GREA
Terrible.......1999-03-09
This book was so horrid I cannot even bare to go into any such details at this moment.
AN EXTRA SONG YOU CAN'T FIND IN ANY OF HER OTHER BOOKS.......1999-02-14
I personally enjoyed the extra added pictures in this book. I am always dissapointed in the transcriptions because there dampen to Tori's ad lib. but, I guess it Lies in the conscience of the editor whom transcribed the music. However, you will not be disappointed with "Over the Rainbow", which is the only song you cannot find in any other Tori Amos Song Books. She played it exactly the way its written on the MTV Unplugged Segment. Other songs included are: Cornflake Girl, Blood Roses, Silent All These Years, Icicle, Caught A Lite Sneeze, Hey Jupiter, and In The Spring Time Of His Voodoo.

Another funny mystery by Lois Greiman.......2007-09-07
Christina "Chrissy" McMullen is a psychologist. She used to be a cocktail waitress. Her gorgeous secretary Elaine "Laney" is a wanna-be actress. She can have just about any man she wants. So why did she choose Jeen Solberg, a nerd Chrissy had dated and rejected?
Now Solberg is missing. He went to a convention in Las Vegas and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Laney is worried. He called her regularly. Then nothing. She tried reaching him and a woman answered the phone. Chrissy agrees to find out what happened. She's hoping he's dead, because if he took up with a showgirl, she'll kill him herself.
Chrissy isn't sure what she feels for Lieutenant Jack Rivera. This just adds to her problems. Then she meets one of Solberg's associates. Can she trust him? As she gets closer to the truth, it becomes more dangerous. Can she find Solberg without putting herself in a killer's path?
I love this series. Chrissy is such a fun character. I find myself laughing out loud when I read these books. The predicaments she gets herself into in this book are truly entertaining. The sexual tension with her and Rivera adds to it, too. All the characters are well rounded and the plot moves along at a good pace. There are plenty of twists to keep you guessing. I highly recommend this book.
Trying TOOOOO hard!.......2006-09-04
I'm sorry, but this is NOT a good book. Yes, parts of it were mildly funny, but the author is simply trying too hard to be funny and it isn't working. The comparison to a Stephanie Plum book is ludicrious. Some poor soul introduced Ms Greiman to the simile and by GOD she was gonna use them. One many pages I counted five or more! Yes, some were cute, but - it stopped the action cold. Furthermore, I really didn't like Chrissy, the protagonist. She was almost TSTL. She really, really sounded like she was in LOVE with Elaine - ick. The book was draggy - probably all those similes, and NOT a mystery. Don't kid yourselves folks, this is a romance, Period. At one point, Chrissy had ANOTHER near death adventure and stated, "she wet per pants." In the next chapter, the hunky cop comes to her house and wakes her up to question her, but..."fortunately she never got undressed the night before so that wasn't a problem." Soooo, she slept in her pee-soak pants????? EEEEEUUUUUUUU! AND the cop was still ga-ga over her. That's when I stopped reading and through this book in the trash.
I enhaled this book in a day and a half........2006-03-09
Lordy, I don't even remember the last book I read that had me laughing this hard! Ms. Greiman has comic genuis. Christy McMullen is just about the most loveable, bumbling, amateur sleuth I have ever had the pleasure to read about. I am so glad the authur is making this a series.
A writer to watch!.......2006-03-08
Christine McMullen is a high-class psychologist. Okay, maybe not high class, but she has an office and patients. Elaine, her drop-dead gorgeous, wannabe-actress secretary, is also her best friend and has been since school days.
Elaine has her pick of millions of men, so who does she pick but one of Chrissy's rejects, a techno nerd who is short--and lacks personality. And lately he is extra short on appearances. He never returns from a business trip to Las Vegas, and Chrissy feels duty bound to help her friend find out why. It could be that he has taken up with a showgirl. But, he might also be dead.
While snooping around the geek's office she meets, and is attracted to, one of his co-workers. But how much does he know? Can she trust him? Will she regret giving in to the attraction? And will he kill her when he finds her snooping in his home office?
Always in the background is Rivera, a good-looking cop. Shouldn't every single woman know one? He wants Chrissy's information about this case. He wants her to stay out of it. He wants her.
Lois Greiman's book is witty, smart and fun. The most fun I've had reading since the last Stephanie Plum novel. I hated for it to end and hope there will be more about the sassy shrink.
Armchair Interview says: This is the second good read from Lois Greiman that we have reviewed, the other being Unzipped. Fun, fun, fun!
